Having generated great anger and being completely overwhelmed by it, as soon as he saw them, that king summoned those who lived off the king's leftovers and commanded them, saying: "Whip these monks!" Then, after a while, they whipped them, and the entire bodies of those monks became like scorched flesh, turning blackish-purple. Then, he whipped those monks to his heart's content and handed them over to the executioners, saying: "Today, impale some of these renunciates alive on stakes and stab them with swords, short spears, large arrows, single-pointed vajras, and broad-headed spears! Give some of them alive to the dogs! Cut some of them into six pieces and throw them in all directions!" Then, those men of the king said: "As you command." And so, some of those five hundred monks were impaled alive on stakes and stabbed with swords, short spears, large arrows, single-pointed vajras, and broad-headed spears! Some were given alive to the dogs! Some were cut into six pieces and thrown in all directions! Monks, what do you think? The one who became king at that time was none other than this sentient being. Due to the ripening of the karma of killing those five hundred arhats there, he was born in the great sentient hell, Avici. Due to the ripening of the karma of looking at those monks with hatred, he became blind. Due to the ripening of the karma of whipping those monks, his entire body became covered with wounds, like scorched flesh. Worms infested him from the crown of his head down to the soles of his feet. Due to the ripening of the karma of handing them over to the executioners, having some impaled alive on stakes and stabbed with swords, short spears, large arrows, single-pointed vajras, and broad-headed spears, having some given alive to the dogs, and having some cut alive into six pieces and scattered in all directions, if he were to walk on level ground, lions, tigers, leopards, bears, and other creatures with iron claws would immediately appear to him.

Those birds cut and cut and eat its flesh. If it sinks into the water, then from itself will arise crocodiles, makaras (梵文:Makara,梵文罗马拟音:makara,汉语字面意思:摩羯) with iron teeth, and those will also cut and cut and eat its flesh. If it goes to the sky above, then from itself will arise crows, vultures, and birds with iron beaks on their claws, and those will also cut and cut and eat its flesh. If it goes into the dense forest, then from itself will arise a grove of silk-cotton trees, and there swords, short spears, long arrows, one-pointed vajras (梵文:Vajra,梵文罗马拟音:vajra,汉语字面意思:金刚杵), and flat-headed spears will be blown by the wind and fall upon it. If it wants to go into cracks in walls, caves, or bird nests, then from itself will arise people born from karma, holding swords, short spears, long arrows, one-pointed vajras (梵文:Vajra,梵文罗马拟音:vajra,汉语字面意思:金刚杵), and flat-headed spears, and they will strike its body. They will cut and chop its entire body, and because of that, it will experience intense, unbearable, hot, and unpleasant feelings, and it will utter cries of distress and weep. Monks, from the time of the perfectly enlightened Buddha of Light (འོད་ཟེར་ཅན) until now, in my time, this being has died and transmigrated from the hell beings, and has been born only among the hell beings, and thus it has obtained such suffering. Venerable ones, when will this being be liberated from this suffering? In this very Fortunate Aeon, five hundred Buddhas will appear, and until then, this being will still die and transmigrate from the hell beings, and will be born only among the hell beings, and will only obtain such suffering. After that, the suffering of the hell beings will be exhausted, and it will obtain the opportunity to be born as a human, and it will take rebirth in a family of bad lineage. When it grows up, it will go to a place where deer roam, and when it arrives there, it will go to a forest that is full of flowers, abundant with fruit, and has pleasant shade, and it will think: in a place like this, the deer

Thinking that they would gather, he set up snares, traps, projectiles, and ropes there and left. Then, at that time, a Pratyekabuddha appeared in the world, and he would spend the night in that forest. Because of him, those deer would not come to that forest during the day. That hunter also went there, and in that forest he found nothing but that Pratyekabuddha, so he thought: These renunciates like to live in such places, and if this one stays here, he will harm me, so I will kill him, without a doubt. Thinking this, he killed that Pratyekabuddha. After he killed that Pratyekabuddha, that hunter, after he died, would be born in the great suffering Avīci hell. There, he would experience the suffering of hell beings for hundreds of millions of years and even tens of millions of years. Then, after that is exhausted, he would again obtain a human birth. At that time, a fully enlightened Buddha named Lama would appear in the world. His teaching would be that this one, after renouncing, would abandon all afflictions and directly realize the state of an Arhat. After he attained the state of an Arhat, he would go to a royal palace. He would spend the night in the garden of that royal palace. That king, also attended by a retinue of women, would go to that garden. Those women, also craving flowers and fruits in that garden, would wander around and go to him, sitting in front to listen to the Dharma. That king, hearing the sound of a man, would go to him, and seeing him, he would angrily whip him, cut his body into six pieces, impale him alive on a stake, and strike his body with swords, short spears, large arrows, single-pointed vajras, and broad-bladed spears, and then give him to the dogs. The end of his suffering would be there. Then, as soon as they heard that, most of those ordinary people became very discouraged. They thought: If we wander in samsara, we too will experience unbearable suffering.
