There were no children there. Seeing this, the two were amazed. After being amazed, they asked: Why are these two lion thrones empty, and there are no sons of gods here? The emanations said: The two sons of Kungawo's (ཀུན་དགའ་བོ།) sister have renounced and are striving in practice, and when they die and transmigrate, passing beyond time, they will be born here. These are the lion thrones where we and they will play together and enjoy happiness. Then, as soon as they saw that, the two boys became happy and thought: Through the efforts of us two, we have obtained great fruit, liberated from being born in the animal hells, and also obtained the fruit of being born as gods. Thinking this, they happily went to the great Venerable Maudgalyayana Then, the great Venerable Maudgalyayana saw them and asked: Two boys, where did this sound come from? Then, the two boys explained everything in detail to the Venerable Maudgalyayana. Then, the great Venerable Maudgalyayana said to them: Two boys, if I had told you this, you two would not have believed me. But now, you two have seen this matter with your own eyes. Therefore, strive even more diligently! As soon as they heard that, the two boys engaged even more in learning with diligence. Then, one day later, they composed a sutra that gathered like a wheel, and after hearing it, they thought: In samsara, like the turning of a bucket chain, one must repeatedly transmigrate in the animal hells, beasts, pretas, gods, and humans. Therefore, we two do not need to be born as gods, nor do we need to be born as humans. We two will strive in practice in the state of non-existence. Then, the Venerable Maudgalyayana, knowing that the two had become discouraged, gave them mental guidance. Through effort, practice, and diligence, they abandoned all afflictions and directly realized the state of arhatship. They became arhats, free from desire in the three realms, gold

Being equal to crows and vultures, possessing a mind like the sky and the palm of the hand. Becoming cool like sandalwood soaked in water, destroying the shell of the egg with wisdom. Having attained wisdom, supernormal knowledge, and individual liberation. Not valuing worldly gains, attachments, and reverence. Becoming an object of offering, reverence, and respect by the gods, including deities and attendants. After those two attained the state of Arhat, they went to different places by means of miraculous powers, picked untimely flowers and fruits, and offered them to the Sangha. Then, other practitioners of pure conduct sensed it and thought, "These two are very powerful." Having seen this, they became weary of us two, thinking, "These two seven-year-olds have also attained such qualities, but we have not attained anything even after our hair has turned color three times," and becoming weary, they abandoned all defilements and directly realized the state of Arhat. Then, the monks asked the Buddha, the Bhagavan, "Venerable One, what deeds did these two novices do that, as a result of those deeds, they renounced at the age of seven, abandoned all defilements, and directly realized the state of Arhat?" The Bhagavan replied, "It is due to the power of aspiration." They asked, "Venerable One, where did these two make their aspirations?" The Buddha said, "In the past, in this very fortunate eon, when the lifespan of beings was twenty thousand years, a fully enlightened Buddha, endowed with knowledge and conduct, Sugata, Knower of the World, unsurpassed guide of beings to be tamed, teacher of gods and humans, the Buddha Bhagavan named Light Protector appeared in the world. Soon after, attended by a large Sangha of monks, he traveled to the region of Kashi and arrived in Varanasi. At that time, about five hundred friends gathered in a garden area, clapping, playing, and enjoying themselves. Those friends saw from afar the fully enlightened Buddha Light Protector.

They saw. Having seen, they had the thought: 'Now that the Buddha has appeared and adorned the world with the Dharma, and Jambudvipa is filled with Arhats, it is not right for us to stay at home. We should go forth in the doctrine of the Blessed One.' Then some said: 'As long as our great elements are young, we should enjoy desires. When we are old, it will be time to go forth.' So they did not go forth. Later, some of them had sons, and some had daughters, and some died. Then one day, some had the thought: 'Now that we have those who can inherit our households, let us go forth in the doctrine of the Blessed One, the perfectly enlightened Buddha Kashyapa (梵文:Kāśyapa).' Then some said: 'Now we should establish homes for our sons, and we should also give our daughters in marriage.' They did not go forth at that time either. Then one day, they all died, and only two of them remained. Later, those two felt regret and said: 'When we were twenty-five years old, in the prime of our youth, we had faith in going forth, but we did not go forth at that time. As a result, everyone has died, and only the two of us remain. Now we are old and decrepit, and about to die. We two will not live much longer. It is not right for us to stay at home. Let us go forth in the doctrine of the perfectly enlightened Buddha Kashyapa (梵文:Kāśyapa).' So they gave gifts and performed virtuous deeds, and went forth in the doctrine of the perfectly enlightened Buddha Kashyapa (梵文:Kāśyapa). The Blessed One instructed: 'The newly ordained monks should serve the Sangha.' The two of them served the Sangha, and others said that they were old when they went forth. Later, one of the two became very unhappy. The other, who was patient, said to him: 'Venerable one, do not be angry with the monks. This is not their fault, but the fault of the two of us. If'
