་སྤོས་སྣ་ཚོགས་ཀྱིས་བསྐུས་ཏེ་བཞག་གོ །དེ་ནས་བཙས་མ་ཐག་ཏུ་མའི་ཡིད་ལ་འདོད་པ་སྔ་མ་དེ་མེད་པར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །དེ་ནས་དེའི་བཙས་སྟོན་རྒྱས་པར་བྱས་ནས་རིགས་དང་འཐུན་པའི་མིང་བཏགས་ཏེ། འོ་མ་དང་ཞོ་དང་མར་དང་ཞུན་མར་དང་མར་གྱི་ཉིང་གུ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་བསྐྱེད་བསྲིངས་ནས། དེ་གང་གི་ཚེ་འགྲོ་ནུས་པར་གྱུར་པ་དེའི་ཚེ་བདག་གི་ཕྱི་ས་བླངས་ནས། ཕྱི་སའི་འདམ་སྙག་སྙིག་ག་ལ་ཡོད་པར་སོང་ནས། ཕྱི་ས་ཟ་བར་བྱེད་དེ། དེ་ཕ་མ་གཉིས་ཀྱིས་ཚོར་ནས་དེས་སྡུག་བསྔལ་ཆེན་པོར་གྱུར་ཏེ། བདག་ཅག་གཉིས་ཀྱི་བུ་བྱུང་མོད་ཀྱི་འོན་ཀྱང་སྐྱོན་འདི་ལྟ་བུས་མ་རུང་བར་གྱུར་ན། འཇིག་རྟེན་གྱིས་ཤིན་ཏུ་དམད་པ་འདི་ལྟ་བུ་བདག་ཅག་ལ་ཅི་དགོས་སྙམ་དུ་བསམས་ནས། དེ་ཁྱིམ་ནས་བསྐྲད་དེ་བཏང་ངོ་། །དེ་ནས་དེ་མི་གཙང་བའི་འདམ་སྙག་སྙིག་དེ་དག་ཉིད་དུ་གནས་བཅས་ཏེ། ཕྱི་ས་དང་གཅིན་ཟ་ཞིང་འཐུང་བར་བྱེད་དོ། །དེ་ནས་དེ་མི་གཙང་བ་ཟ་བ་སྐྱེ་བོ་མང་པོས་མཐོང་ངོ་། །མཐོང་ནས་ཀྱང་དེ་དག་གཅིག་ལ་གཅིག་སྨྲས་པ། ཁྱེའུ་འདི་ནི་ཝ་བཞིན་དུ་ཕྱི་ས་དང་གཅིན་ཟ་ཞིང་འཐུང་ངོ་ཞེས་ཟེར་ནས། དེའི་མིང་སྔ་མ་མེད་པར་གྱུར་ཏེ། དེ་ཝ་བཞིན་དུ་ཕྱི་ས་དང་གཅིན་ཟ་ཞིང་འཐུང་བའི་ཕྱིར་མིང་ཝ་ཉིད་དུ་བཏགས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་ཕྱི་ཞིག་ན་དེ་འོད་སྲུང་རྫོགས་བྱེད་ཀྱིས་མཐོང་ནས་དེས་བསམས་པ། བདག་ཅག་ནི་བ་ལང་གི་ལྕི་བ་ཟ་བའི་ཡི་དམ་བྱེད་པར་ཟད་ན། ཁྱེའུ་འདི་ནི་བདག་ཅག་པས་ཆེས་དཀའ་བ་བྱེད་པ་ཡིན་ཏེ། གལ་ཏེ་འདི་བདག་གི་ཐད་དུ་རབ་ཏུ་བྱུང་ན་ནི་འདིར་འདི་ལ་བསོད་ནམས་མང་པོ་འཕེལ་བར་འགྱུར་རོ་སྙམ་དུ་བསམས་ནས། ཁྱེའུ་དེ་ལ་སྨྲས་པ། ཅི་ཁྱེའུ་ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་འདི་ཡི་དམ་དུ་བཅས་པ་ཡིན་ནམ་འོན་ཏེ་གོམས་པའི་ཚུལ་ཅན་དུ་ཟད་དམ། ཁྱེའུས་སྨྲས་པ། བདག་ནི་ཡི་དམ་དུ་བཅས་པ་ཇི་ལྟ་བུ་ཡིན་པ་ཡང་མི་ཤེས་ཏེ། བདག་ནི་ཕྱི་ས་ཟ་བ་ལ་ཤིན་ཏུ་སྲེད་ཀྱི་ཟས་སྐོམ་དག་ལ་ནི་མི་སྲེད་དོ། །འོད་སྲུང་རྫོགས་བྱེད་ཀྱིས་སྨྲས་པ། ཁྱེའུ་ངའི་ཐད་དུ་རབ་ཏུ་བྱུང་ལ་ཡི་དམ་དུ་ལོང་ཤིག་དང་གཞི་དེ་ལས་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་བསོད་ནམས་མང་དུ་འཕེལ་བར་འགྱུར་རོ། །ཁྱེའུས་སྨྲས་པ། ཁྱོད་ཇི་ལྟར་དགྱེས་པ་བཞིན་དུ་བགྱིའོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་ནས། ཁྱེའུ་དེ་དེའི་ཕྱི་བཞིན་དུ་འབྲངས་ཏེ་སོང་ངོ་། །དེ་ནས་དེས་གནས་ཁང་དུ་ཁྲིད་ནས་སྐྲ་བཏོགས་ཏེ། ཕོར་པ་དང་རྨ་བྱའི་མདོངས་ཀྱི་ཕྱགས་མ་བྱིན་ནས། ཕྱི་ས་ཟ་བའི་ཡི་དམ་བྱིན་ཏེ་བཏང་ངོ་། །དེ་ནས་དེ་ཕྱི་སའི་འདམ་ག་ལ་བ་དེར་སོང་སྟེ་འདུག་གོ །དེའི་ཚེ་མཉན་དུ་ཡོད་པ་ན་ཡི་དགས་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་ཙམ་འཁོད་པ་རྣམས་མཚན་མོ་གང་གི་ཚེ། སྐྱེ་བོ་མང་པོ་ཉལ་བ་དེའི་ཚེ་ཕྱི་སའི་འདམ་གཞན་ནས་གཞན་དག་ཏུ་དོང་ནས། ཕྱི་ས་དང་གཅིན་ཟ་ཞིང་འཐུང་བར་བྱེད་དོ། །ཁྱེའུ་དེས་ཀྱང་ཡི་དགས་དེ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་སྒྲ་ནི་ཐོས་ལ་གཟུགས་མི་མཐོང་ངོ་། །དེ་ནས་ཕྱི་ཞིག་ན་འོད་སྲུང་རྫོགས་བྱེད་ཀྱིས་དེ་ལ་བརྟགས་ཏེ། བུ་ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་བརྟུལ་ཞུགས་ཡི་དམ་དུ་བླངས་པ་འདིས་ཁྱད་པར་ཅུང་ཟད་ལྟ་ཐོབ་བམ། དེས་སྨྲས་པ། ཁྱད་པར་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ཇི་ལྟ་བུ་ཡིན། རྫོགས་བྱེད་ཀྱིས་སྨྲས་པ། ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་ལྷའི་གཟུགས་ལྟ་བུ་ལྟ་མཐོང་ངམ། ལྷའི་སྒྲ་སྐད་ལྟ་ཐོས་སམ། དེས་སྨྲས་པ། བདག་གིས་ལྷའི་གཟུགས་ལྟ་བུ་ནི་མ་མཐོང་གི་སྐྱེ་བོ་མང་པོའི་སྒྲ་སྐད་དག་ཐོས་ན། འོན་ཀྱང་མངོན་སུམ་དུ་དེ་མ་མཐོང་ངོ་། །རྫོགས་བྱེད་ཀྱིས་སྨྲས་པ། དེ་དག་ནི་བདག་ཉིད་ཆེན་པོ་བརྟུལ་ཞུགས་གྲུབ་པ་ཡིན་ནོ། །ད་ཡང་ཡི་དམ་བཅས་པ་འདི་ཉིད་ཡི་དམ་དུ་བགྱིས་ཏེ་འདུག་ཤིག་དང་ཅི་སྟེ་ན་དེ་དག་གིས་ལུས་སྟོན་ཀྱང་སྲིད་དོ་ཞེས་བྱས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་ཕྱི་ཞིག་ན་ཡི་དགས་དེ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་བསམས་པ། ཇི་ལྟར་བདག་ཅག་མི་དགེ་བའི་ལས་ཀྱིས་འདིར་སྐྱེས་ཏེ། སྡུག་བསྔལ་འདི་ལྟ་བུ་ཉམས་སུ་མྱོང་བ་དེ་བཞིན་དུ། ཁྱེའུ་འདི་ཡང་སྔོན་གྱི་མི་དགེ་བའི་ལས་ཀྱིས་སྡུག་བསྔལ་འདི་ལྟ་བུ་མྱོང་བ་ཡིན་ན། ཅིའི་ཕྱིར་བདག་ཅག་གིས་འདི་ལ་ལུས་བསྟན་པར་ཅིས་མི་བྱ་ཞེས་ཟེར་ནས། ཡི་དགས་དེ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ཁྱེའུ་དེ་ལ་ལུས་བསྟན་ཏེ། དེ་ཡི་དགས་དེ་རྣམས་དང་ལྷན་ཅིག་ཏུ་འགྲོགས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་ཕྱི་ཞིག་ན་འོད་སྲུང་རྫོགས་བྱེད་ཀྱིས་ཡང་དེ་ལ་བརྟགས་ཏེ། བུ་ཁྱོད་ལ་བརྟུལ་ཞུགས་གྲུབ་པ་དེ་དག་གིས་ལུས་ཅུང་ཟད་ཙམ་བསྟན་ཏམ། དེས་སྨྲས་པ་ལུས་ནི་བསྟན་མོད་ཀྱི་མི་སྡུག་པའི་ཚུལ་དུ་བསྟན་ཏོ། །འོད་སྲུང་རྫོགས་བྱེད་ཀྱིས་སྨྲས་པ། ད་དུང་ཡི་དམ་དུ་བཅས་པ་དེ་ཉིད་ཡི་དམ་དུ་གྱིས་ཏེ་འདུག་ཤིག་དང་། རང་བཞིན་གྱིས་གཟུགས་སྟོན་པར་འགྱུར་ཡང་སྲིད་དོ། །དེ་ནས་ཕྱི་ཞིག་ན། ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུས་བསམས་པ། ཡི་དགས་འདི་རྣམས་ལས་ཟད་དེ་རིང་པོ་མི་ཐོགས་པར་འཆི་བར་འགྱུར་གྱིས། བདག་གིས་འདི་རྣམས་གདུལ་བར་བྱའོ་སྙམ་སྟེ། ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་ཡི་དགས་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་པོ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ཐད་དུ་སོང་ནས་སྨྲས་པ། བཞིན་བཟངས་དག་འདི་ལྟར་འདུ་བྱེད་ཐམས་ཅད་ནི་མི་རྟག་གོ །ཆོས་ཐམས་ཅད་ནི་བདག་མེད་པའོ། །མྱ་ངན་ལས་འདས་པ་ནི་ཞི་བའོ། །ང་ལ་སེམས་དགའ་བར་གྱིས་ཤིག་དང་། ཡི་དགས་ཀྱི་སྐྱེ་གནས་དང་བྲལ་བར་འགྱུར་ཡང་སྲིད་དོ་ཞེས་བྱས་ནས་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་སོང་ངོ་། །ཡི་དགས་དེ་རྣམས་ཀྱང་ཚེ་ཟད་ནས་དེ་དག་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་ལ་སེམས་དགའ་བར་གྱུར་བཞིན་དུ་ཤི་ནས་ལྷའི་ཡུལ་དུ་སྐྱེས་སོ། །ལྷའི་བུའམ་ལྷའི་བུ་མོ་སྐྱེས་མ་ཐག་པ་ནི་ཆོས་ཉིད་ཀྱིས་སེམས་རྣམ་པ་གསུམ་སྐྱེ་བར་འགྱུར་ཏེ། བདག་གང་ནས་ཤི་འཕོས་གང་དུ་སྐྱེས་ལས་གང་གིས་སྐྱེས་སྙམ་མོ། །དེ་ནས་ཡི་དགས་ལས་ཤི་འཕོས་པ་དང་ལྷར་སྐྱེས་པ་དང་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་ལ་སེམས་དགའ་བར་གྱུར་པ་དེ་དག་གིས་མཐོང་ངོ་། །དེ་ནས་སྔོན་ཡི་དགས་སུ་གྱུར་པའི་ལྷའི་བུ་དེ་དག་འདི་སྙམ་དུ་སེམས་ཏེ། བདག་ཅག་ཞག་ལོན་ནས་གཟོད་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་བལྟ་བའི་ཕྱིར་འགྲོ་བ་ནི་བདག་ཅག་གི་ཆ་མ་ཡིན་གྱིས། བདག་ཅག་ཞག་མ་ལོན་པར་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་བལྟ་བའི་ཕྱིར་འགྲོའོ་སྙམ་མོ། །དེ་ནས་སྔོན་ཡི་དགས་སུ་གྱུར་པའི་ལྷའི་བུ། རྣ་ཆ་གདུབ་ཀོར་དག་ཅིང་འགུལ་བ་ཐོགས་པ། ལུས་དོ་ཤལ་དང་སེ་མོ་དོས་བརྒྱན་པ། ནོར་བུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་སྣ་ཚོགས་ཀྱིས་སྤྲས་པའི་ཅོད་པན་ཅན་ལུས་གུར་གུམ་དང་ཏ་མ་ལའི་ལོ་མ་དང་ཀ་ལ་སོགས་པས་བྱུགས་པ་དེ་དག་གིས་དེ་ཉིད་ཀྱི་མཚན་མོ་ལྷའི་མེ་ཏོག་ཨུད་པ་ལ་དང་། པད་མ་དང་། ཀུ་མུ་དཱ་དང་། པད་མ་དཀར་པོ་དང་། མན་དཱ་ར་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ཐུ་བ་བཀང་སྟེ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་ཐད་དུ་ལྷགས་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་ལྷའི་མེ་ཏོག་གིས་གཏོར་ཏོ། །དེ་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་དེ་དག་ལ་ཆོས་བསྟན་ཏེ། དེ་དག་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱིས་བདེན་པ་རྣམས་མཐོང་ངོ་། །དེ་དག་གིས་བདེན་པ་མཐོང་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་ཐད་ནས་སོང་སྟེ། རང་གི་གནས་སུ་དོང་བ་ན་དེ་དག་གིས་ཁྱེའུ་ཝ་ཡིད་ལ་དྲན་ནས་དེ་དག་གིས་བསམས་པ། བདག་ཅག་ནི་འཕགས་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་ལས་བརྟེན་ཏེ། ཡི་དགས་ཀྱི་སྐྱེ་གནས་དང་བྲལ་ནས། ལྷར་སྐྱེས་ཀྱིས་བདག་ཅག་དོང་སྟེ་ཝའི་དོན་བྱའོ། །འོན་ཀྱང་དེ་ཡང་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་ཐད་དུ་སོང་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལས་བརྟེན་ཏེ། 用各种香薰涂抹后放置。然后，刚生下来，母亲心中之前的愿望就消失了。之后，盛大地举办了诞生庆典，取了与种姓相符的名字，用牛奶、酸奶、酥油、炼乳和酥油的精华来养育。当他能行走时，就拿自己的粪便来，一些人吃，一些人用来涂抹身体，那些妇女们阻止他。之后，当他长大时，就让他学习文字，把他送到堪布那里，但他却跑到有粪便的污泥里，吃粪便。他的父母知道后，非常痛苦，心想：我们虽然生了个儿子，但却因为这样的过失而变得不好，我们还需要这种被世人鄙视的人做什么呢？于是把他从家里赶走了。之后，他就住在那些不干净的污泥里， 吃喝粪便和尿液。之后，许多人看到他吃不净之物。看到后，他们互相说道：这个孩子像狐狸一样吃喝粪便和尿液。于是，他之前的名字消失了，因为他像狐狸一样吃喝粪便和尿液，所以名字就叫狐狸。之后，有一天，迦叶圆满行者看到他，心想：我们只不过是把吃牛粪作为本尊，这个孩子比我们做得更难。如果这个人能在我这里出家，那么他在这里的福德会增长很多。于是对那个孩子说：孩子，你把这个作为本尊了吗？还是仅仅是一种习惯？孩子说：我也不知道什么是作为本尊，我非常喜欢吃粪便，而不喜欢食物和饮料。迦叶圆满行者说：孩子，在我这里出家，把它作为本尊，那样你的福德会增长很多。孩子说：就按你喜欢的那样做吧。说完，那个孩子就成了他的侍者。

He was placed after being anointed with various incenses. Then, as soon as he was born, the mother's previous desire disappeared. After that, the birth celebration was held grandly, and a name suitable for the lineage was given. He was raised with milk, yogurt, butter, ghee, and the essence of ghee. When he was able to walk, he took his own excrement. Some people ate it, and some used it to smear their bodies, and those women stopped him. Then, when he grew up, he was made to study letters, and he was sent to the Khenpo, but he went to the mud where there was excrement and ate the excrement. When his parents found out, they were very distressed and thought: Although we had a son, he has become bad because of this fault. What do we need such a person who is despised by the world? So they drove him out of the house. After that, he settled in those unclean muds, eating and drinking excrement and urine. Then, many people saw him eating unclean things. After seeing him, they said to each other: This child eats and drinks excrement and urine like a fox. Then, his previous name disappeared, and because he ate and drank excrement and urine like a fox, he was named Fox. Then, one day, Kashyapa Purna saw him and thought: We are only making the eating of cow dung as a deity, this child is doing something more difficult than us. If this person were to be ordained here with me, then his merit would increase a lot here. So he said to the child: Child, have you made this as a deity? Or is it just a habit? The child said: I don't even know what it is to make it as a deity, I really like to eat excrement, but I don't like food and drink. Kashyapa Purna said: Child, be ordained here with me and take it as a deity, and then your merit will increase a lot. The child said: Do as you please. After saying that, the child became his attendant.

便跟随着去了。然后他领到住所剃了头发，给了碗和孔雀翎毛的拂尘，给了吃粪便的誓言，便打发走了。然后他便去到那个粪便的泥泞之处坐着。那时在ཉན（མཉན།）的地方，有五百左右的饿鬼居住，那些夜晚什么时候，许多人睡觉的时候，就从其他的粪便泥泞处来到这里，吃喝粪便和尿液。那个孩子也只是听到那些饿鬼的声音，却看不到形貌。然后有一天，迦叶圆满者观察他，孩子，你以苦行誓言作为本尊，得到稍微的差别了吗？他说：差别是怎样的？圆满者说：你看到像天人的形貌了吗？ 听到天人的声音了吗？他说：我没有看到像天人的形貌，只是听到许多人的声音，然而没有亲眼见到。圆满者说：那些是大自在苦行成就者啊。现在也仍然将这个誓言作为本尊来安住吧，或许他们也会显现身体。然后有一天，那些饿鬼想到：我们因为不善业而生于此处，像这样感受痛苦，同样，这个孩子也是因为前世的不善业而感受这样的痛苦，为什么我们不向他显现身体呢？于是那些饿鬼向那个孩子显现了身体，他和那些饿鬼一起交往了。然后有一天，迦叶圆满者又观察他，孩子，那些苦行成就者稍微向你显现身体了吗？他说：显现了身体，但是以不悦意的形式显现的。迦叶圆满者说：现在仍然将所立誓言作为本尊来安住吧，或许会自然显现形象。然后有一天，具寿舍利子想到：这些饿鬼的业力将尽，不久之后就会死去，我应该引导他们。

Then he followed him. Then he led him to the dwelling, shaved his head, gave him a bowl and a peacock feather duster, gave him the vow to eat feces, and sent him away. Then he went to that muddy place of feces and sat down. At that time, in the place called Nyan, about five hundred hungry ghosts were dwelling. On those nights, when many people were sleeping, they would come from other muddy places of feces to this place, eating and drinking feces and urine. The boy could only hear the sounds of those hungry ghosts, but could not see their forms. Then one day, Kashyapa the Perfected One observed him and said, "Boy, have you gained any slight distinction from taking this ascetic vow as your chosen deity?" He said, "What is meant by 'distinction'?" The Perfected One said, "Have you seen anything like the form of a god? Have you heard the sound of a god?" He said, "I have not seen anything like the form of a god, but I have heard the sounds of many people, but I have not seen them directly." The Perfected One said, "Those are great, self-mastering ascetics who have attained accomplishment. Now, continue to abide with this very vow as your chosen deity, and perhaps they will show their bodies." Then one day, those hungry ghosts thought, "Just as we were born here due to unwholesome actions and experience such suffering, so too this boy is experiencing such suffering due to past unwholesome actions. Why should we not show him our bodies?" So those hungry ghosts showed the boy their bodies, and he associated with those hungry ghosts. Then one day, Kashyapa the Perfected One again observed him and said, "Boy, have those accomplished ascetics shown you their bodies even a little?" He said, "They have shown their bodies, but in an unpleasant form." Kashyapa the Perfected One said, "Now, continue to abide with that very vow as your chosen deity, and perhaps they will naturally show their forms." Then one day, the venerable Shariputra thought, "The karma of these hungry ghosts is about to be exhausted, and they will die before long. I should guide them."

Thinking that it should be done this way. Then, the venerable Shariputra went to the five hundred pretas and said: "Good-looking ones, know that all conditioned phenomena are impermanent, all dharmas are without self, and nirvana is peace. Please generate joy in me, and perhaps you will be freed from the birth place of pretas." Having said this, the venerable Shariputra left. Those pretas also exhausted their lifespans, and as they generated joy in the venerable Shariputra, they died and were born in the heavenly realm. As soon as a son of the gods or a daughter of the gods is born, by nature, three thoughts arise: From where did I die, where was I reborn, and by what karma was I born? Then, they saw that they had died from the preta realm and were born as gods, and that they had generated joy in the venerable Shariputra. Then, those sons of the gods who were formerly pretas thought: "It is not our place to go to see the Blessed One after some time has passed. We should go to see the Blessed One before time has passed." Then, those sons of the gods who were formerly pretas, wearing exquisite earrings and bracelets that moved, their bodies adorned with necklaces and belts, wearing crowns adorned with various precious jewels, their bodies smeared with saffron, tamala leaves, and kala and other fragrances, that very night filled containers with heavenly utpala flowers, lotuses, water lilies, white lotuses, and mandarava flowers, and came to the Blessed One, and scattered heavenly flowers on the Blessed One. Then, the Blessed One taught them the Dharma, and they all saw the truth. After seeing the truth, they left from the presence of the Blessed One, and when they returned to their own abodes, they remembered the boy Va, and they thought: "We relied on the noble Shariputra and were freed from the birth place of pretas and were born as gods, so we should go and do something for Va. However, he can also go to the Blessed One and rely on the Blessed One, and perhaps he will be freed from that suffering." Thinking this, they disappeared from the Jeta Grove and were in Shravasti.
