He also learned to grab with his hands, move his feet, protect his head, throw from a distance, throw with sound, throw accurately, hit without being eaten by ghosts, and strike fiercely, becoming proficient in five places. After that, he began to associate with prostitutes. Later, his father sent him among friends, those friends in the spring, where the shade of trees was lush, flowers were blooming, parrots, squirrels, peacocks, cuckoos, and titmice were singing, in the forest of the garden, he took the leader of the prostitutes and went, and they sat there. Because of the prostitutes, a quarrel arose. The kind-hearted young man became angry and killed three friends, the friends fled, and he spoke to the leader Lion. After that, the leader Lion heard this and declared that the child was not his son and drove him out of the house. After that, the Licchavis of Vaishali sent someone to kill him, wrapped a garland of karavira flowers around his neck, and handed him over to the executioner. The executioner, wearing blue clothes, drew his sword, and with the sound of loud drums, led him in a parade, proclaiming his crime on the main roads. As he approached the place of execution, he was terrified and afraid for his life, looking at each other, thinking: Who will have pity on me, this poor, miserable, suffering person, who will give alms to me and let me live? The Buddha, the Bhagavan, is the guide of the one and only path, possessing the two kinds of knowledge and wisdom, proficient in the three unmixed mindfulness establishments, fearless with the four fearlessnesses, liberated from the five realms of existence, proficient in the six sense bases, with the seven limbs of enlightenment as his sphere of activity, a meditator of the eight liberations, an enterer of the nine successive abidings, possessing the ten powers, uttering the true lion's roar. They are, according to Dharma, three times during the day and three times during the night, that is, six times day and night, observing the world with the Buddha's eye, who declines, who prospers, who is poor, who is miserable, who suffers harm, who is poor, miserable, and suffers harm.

Possessed of. Who is inclined to evil destinies? Who falls into evil destinies? Who falls into evil destinies? Who is it that I will bring forth from evil destinies, and place in heaven, liberation, and fruition? Who is it that I will draw by the hand from sinking in the mire of sinful conduct? Who is it that I will cause to possess the dominion of the seven noble riches, from lacking the seven noble riches? Who is it that I will cause to generate roots of virtue, from not having generated them? Who is it that I will cause to fully ripen, from having already generated roots of virtue? Who is it that I will pierce with the weapon of wisdom, from having already fully ripened roots of virtue? For whom is it that I should make the world adorned by the arising of a Buddha, together with its fruit? Thus, the eye of wisdom arises. The ocean is the abode of aquatic creatures. The tide of time may recede, but for the sons to be tamed, the Buddha does not miss the time. Then the Blessed One thought: "The time has come to tame the boy Good Heart." Having thought thus, he disappeared from the bank of the monkey pond, and sat before the boy Good Heart. Then the boy Good Heart saw the Blessed One from afar. Having seen him, he prostrated at his feet and requested: "Blessed One, please grant me the alms of enduring hardship and sparing my life." The Blessed One said: "Young man, you now have no fear of being devoured by life, do not be afraid." Then the Blessed One said to the people of Vaishali: "Good people, let this boy go, what good is it to kill him?" The people of Vaishali requested: "Venerable one, if he becomes a renunciate, then we will let him go." The Blessed One caused that boy to become a renunciate and fully ordained him, and also gave him teachings. He also abandoned all defilements through diligence, practice, and effort, and directly realized the state of an Arhat. Then the monks requested the Blessed One: "Venerable one, the boy Good Heart, for the sake of not being counted, was allowed to be killed by the people of Vaishali, but the Blessed One liberated him, and you look upon him as being placed in the ultimate eternal, accomplished, and blissful Nirvana."
