བདེ་བྱེད་གཉིས་ཁྲིད་དེ་མཉན་དུ་ཡོད་པར་སོང་ངོ་། །དེ་ནས་རྒྱལ་པོ་གསལ་རྒྱལ་གྱིས་ཁྱེའུ་དེ་ཡི་གེ་སློབ་ཏུ་བཅུག་སྟེ། རྒྱལ་རིགས་སྤྱི་བོ་ནས་དབང་བསྐུར་བའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་བཟོའི་གནས་དང་ལས་ཀྱི་གནས་ཐ་དད་པ་གང་ཡིན་པ་དེ་དག་ཀྱང་བསླབས་ཏེ། འདི་ལྟ་སྟེ་གླང་པོ་ཆེ་ཞོན་པ་དང་རྟ་ཞོན་པ་དང་མཚོན་ཆ་བཅང་བ་དང་འཕོང་དང་མདུན་དུ་བསྣུར་བ་དང་ཕྱིར་བསྣུར་བ་དང་། གཡུལ་ལས་འབྱུང་བར་བྱ་བ་དང་། ལྕགས་ཀྱུ་བཟུང་བ་དང་། ཞགས་པ་བཟུང་བ་དང་། མདའ་བོ་ཆེ་འཕང་བ་དང་། རྡོ་རྗེ་རྩེ་གཅིག་པ་འཕང་བ་དང་། མཚོན་རྩེ་གཅིག་པ་གདབ་པ་དང་། འཁོར་ལོ་འཕང་བ་དང་། གཅད་པ་དང་། གཤེག་པ་དང་། ལག་པས་གཟུང་བ་དང་། རྐང་པའི་སྟངས་དང་། མགོ་བོ་བསྐྱབ་པ་དང་། རྒྱང་མར་འཕང་བ་དང་། སྒྲ་གྲག་པར་འཕང་བ་དང་། གནད་དུ་འཕང་བ་དང་། གདོན་མི་ཟ་བར་ཕོག་པར་བྱ་བ་དང་ཚབས་ཆེར་བཏང་བ་རྣམས་ཀྱང་བསླབས་ནས་གནས་ལྔ་ལ་བྱང་བར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །དེ་ནས་དེ་ནན་ཏུར་མ་བྱས་པས་མ་གྲངས་ཏེ་འཕྱོན་མ་ལ་ཡང་ཞུགས་སོ། །དེས་ཡུལ་དེར་ཚུལ་མ་ཡིན་པ་བརྒྱ་ཙམ་བྱས་ཏེ། རྒྱལ་པོ་གསལ་རྒྱལ་དང་སྲིང་མོ་བདེ་བྱེད་མས་ལན་མང་དུ་བཀག་ཀྱང་དགག་པར་མ་ནུས་ནས། རྒྱལ་པོ་གསལ་རྒྱལ་གྱིས་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཚངས་བྱིན་ལ་ཕོ་ཉ་བཏང་སྟེ། ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་བུ་འདི་ན་འདུག་པས་མི་རིགས་པ་བརྒྱ་ཙམ་བྱས་ཏེ་དགག་ཀྱང་མ་ནུས་སོ་ཞེས་སྤྲིང་ངོ་། །དེ་ནས་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཚངས་པས་བྱིན་གྱིས་ཐོས་མ་ཐག་ཏུ་བུ་ལ་སྤྲིང་བ། བུ་ཁྱོད་འོ་ནིར་མ་འདུག་པར་འདིར་ཤོག་ཅིག །ང་འདས་པའི་འོག་ཏུ་རྒྱལ་པོའི་དབང་ཕྱུག་གི་མངའ་བདག་བྱ་དགོས་ཀྱིས། མི་རིགས་པ་མ་བྱེད་པར་འདིར་འདུག་ཅིག་ཅེས་བྱས་སོ། །འོན་ཀྱང་དེ་ཕས་སྤྲིང་བ་ལྟར་རང་གི་ཡུལ་དུ་ཡང་མ་འོངས། བག་མེད་པ་དེ་དག་ཀྱང་མ་སྤངས་ནས། དེ་གང་གི་ཚེ་དགག་པར་མ་ནུས་པ་དེའི་ཚེ་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཚངས་པས་བྱིན་གྱིས་བུ་མ་ཡིན་པར་བསྒྲགས་སོ། །རྒྱལ་པོ་གསལ་ རྒྱལ་གྱིས་ཀྱང་སྤངས་ནས་རྒྱལ་པོའི་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ་ཡོང་དུ་མ་གནང་ངོ་། །དེ་ནས་ཕྱི་ཞིག་ན་དེ་རྒྱལ་པོའི་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ་འགྲོ་འདོད་པ་ལས་ཆབ་སྒོ་བས་བཀག་པ་དང་ནན་གྱིས་ནང་དུ་སོང་སྟེ། སྲིང་མོ་དང་ཕྲད་པར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་ཟེར་ཞིང་བཙུན་མོའི་སྒོར་འདུག་གོ །རྒྱལ་པོ་གསལ་རྒྱལ་ཡང་བཙུན་མོ་བདེ་བྱེད་མ་དང་ལྷན་ཅིག་ཏུ་པི་བང་ལེན་ཅིང་འདུག་གོ །དེ་ནས་ཁྱེའུ་བདེ་བྱེད་ཀྱིས་ཚོར་ནས་ཁྱེའུ་དེའི་ལག་ཏུ་མདའ་གཞུ་ཡང་བཅང་སྟེ། དེ་ཁྲོས་ནས་རྒྱལ་པོ་གསལ་རྒྱལ་གསད་པའི་

将善施二人带到静处去了。之后，光明王让那个孩子学习文字，还让那些从王族头顶灌顶的国王们学习工巧明和事业明各自不同的内容。比如，骑大象、骑马、携带武器、投掷、向前推进、向后退却、从战场上脱身、抓住铁钩、抓住绳索、投掷大箭、投掷独尖金刚杵、刺独尖武器、投掷轮子、砍断、击打、用手抓住、脚的姿势、保护头部、远距离投掷、发出声音地投掷、准确地投掷、不被鬼吃掉地击中以及猛烈地攻击等，学习了这些，精通了五明。之后，因为他没有谨慎行事，所以毫无顾忌地出入妓院。他就在那个地方做了大约一百件不如法的事情。光明王和妹妹善施多次阻止他，但都未能阻止。光明王就派使者去见梵施王，说：你的儿子住在这里，做了大约一百件不如法的事情，即使阻止也无济于事。之后，梵施王一听到这个消息，就给儿子捎信说：儿子，你不要待在那里，到这里来！我死后，你必须成为王权的统治者，不要做不如法的事情，待在这里！然而，他并没有像父亲捎信说的那样回到自己的国家，也没有抛弃那些放荡不羁的行为。当无法阻止他的时候，梵施王就宣布他不是自己的儿子了。光明王也抛弃了他，不允许他进入王宫。之后有一天，他想去王宫，但被守门人拦住了，他强行进入，说要见妹妹，就待在妃子的门口。光明王也和妃子善施一起弹着琵琶。之后，善施的儿子感觉到了，手里拿着弓箭，他生气地要杀死光明王。

Taking both De-bye (Good-Doer) to a quiet place, they left. Then, King Sal-gyal (Clear-Victory) had the boy taught to read and write. He also had those kings who were empowered from the crown of the royal family learn the different aspects of crafts and activities. For example, riding elephants, riding horses, carrying weapons, throwing, advancing forward, retreating backward, escaping from the battlefield, grasping iron hooks, grasping ropes, throwing large arrows, throwing single-pointed vajras, stabbing single-pointed weapons, throwing wheels, cutting, striking, grasping with hands, foot postures, protecting the head, throwing from a distance, throwing with sound, throwing accurately, hitting without being eaten by demons, and attacking fiercely. Having learned these, he became proficient in the five sciences. After that, because he did not act cautiously, he frequented brothels without restraint. He committed about a hundred improper acts in that place. King Sal-gyal and his sister De-bye repeatedly tried to stop him, but were unable to do so. King Sal-gyal then sent a messenger to King Tsang-jin (Brahma-Given), saying, "Your son is staying here and has committed about a hundred improper acts, and even if we try to stop him, it is to no avail." Then, as soon as King Tsang-jin heard this, he sent a message to his son, saying, "Son, do not stay there, come here! After I die, you must become the ruler of the kingdom's power. Do not do improper things, stay here!" However, he did not return to his own country as his father had requested, nor did he abandon those reckless behaviors. When it was impossible to stop him, King Tsang-jin declared that he was not his son. King Sal-gyal also abandoned him and did not allow him to enter the royal palace. Then one day, he wanted to go to the royal palace, but the gatekeeper stopped him. He forced his way inside, saying that he wanted to see his sister, and stayed at the door of the queen. King Sal-gyal was also playing the lute with his queen, De-bye. Then, De-bye's son sensed it, and holding a bow and arrow in his hand, he angrily wanted to kill King Sal-gyal.
