རྒྱས་དེས་བསམས་པ་ཉོན་མོངས་པ་འདི་ནི་དམས་ཤིང་ཉམས་པར་གྱུར་ཏེ། གཏན་དུ་དམས་པར་གྱུར་ན་མི་རུང་གིས་འདིའི་ར་མདའ་བྱ་དགོས་སོ་སྙམ་ནས་སྟེང་གི་ནམ་མཁའ་ལ་འཕགས་ཏེ། འབར་བ་དང་ལམ་མེར་འདུག་པ་དང་ཆར་པ་འབབ་པ་དང་གློག་འགྱུ་བའི་ཆོ་འཕྲུལ་རྣམས་བསྟན་ཏོ། །སོ་སོའི་སྐྱེ་བོ་རྣམས་ནི་རྫུ་འཕྲུལ་གྱིས་མྱུར་དུ་དད་པར་བྱེད་དེ། དེ་ཤིང་ལྗོན་པ་སོག་ལེས་བཅད་པ་བཞིན་དུ་ཞབས་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ནས་སྨྲས་པ། སྐལ་བ་ཆེན་པོ་དང་ལྡན་པ་མར་གཤེགས། བདག་ཉེས་པར་སྤྱོད་པའི་འདམ་དུ་བྱིང་བའི་ལག་ནས་དྲང་དུ་གསོལ་ཞེས་བྱས་སོ། །རང་སངས་རྒྱས་དེ་ཡང་དེ་ཁོ་ན་ལ་སྙིང་བརྩེ་བའི་ཕྱིར། ས་ལ་བབས་ནས་དེས་རྐང་པ་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ཏེ། བཟོད་པ་གསོལ་ནས། ཡང་བསོད་སྙོམས་ཕུལ་ཏེ་སྨོན་ལམ་བཏབ་པ། འདི་ལྟར་བདག་གིས་ཡོན་གནས་འདི་ལྟ་བུ་ལ་གནོད་པ་བྱས་པའི་ལས་འདིའི་སྐལ་བ་ཅན་དུ་བདག་མ་གྱུར་ཅིག །འདི་ལྟར་བདག་གིས་ཕྱིར་ཡང་བཀུར་སྟི་བྱས་པའི་དགེ་བའི་རྩ་བ་འདིས་ན་བདག་གང་དང་གང་དུ་སྐྱེ་བ་དེ་དང་དེར་ཕྱུག་ཅིང་ནོར་མང་ལ་ལོངས་སྤྱོད་ཆེ་བའི་རིགས་སུ་སྐྱེ་བར་ཤོག་ཅིག །འདི་བས་ཀྱང་ཆེས་ཁྱད་པར་དུ་འཕགས་པའི་སྟོན་པ་མཉེས་པར་བྱེད་པར་གྱུར་ཅིག །མི་མཉེས་པར་བྱེད་པར་མ་ གྱུར་ཅིག །ཡོན་ཏན་འདི་ལྟ་བུ་དག་ཀྱང་ཐོབ་པར་གྱུར་ཅིག །གལ་ཏེ་སྡིག་པའི་ལས་འདིའི་འབྲས་བུ་གདོན་མི་ཟ་བར་བདག་ལ་སྨིན་པར་གྱུར་ན་ཡང་རབ་ཏུ་འབྱུང་བའི་སེམས་བསྐྱེད་མ་ཐག་ཏུ་བདག་གི་མི་སྡུག་པ་མེད་པར་གྱུར་ཏེ་བྱད་གཟུགས་བཟང་པོར་གྱུར་ཅིག་ཅེས་བྱས་སོ། །དགེ་སློང་དག་ཇི་སྙམ་དུ་སེམས། དེའི་ཚེ་ཁྱིམ་བདག་ཏུ་གྱུར་པ་གང་ཡིན་པ་དེ་ནི་མི་སྡུག་པ་འདི་ཁོ་ན་ཡིན་ཏེ། དེས་དེར་རང་སངས་རྒྱས་ལ་བསོད་སྙོམས་ཕུལ་བའི་འོག་ཏུ་ཕྱིར་ཕྲོགས་ཏེ་ལུས་དང་ངག་གི་ལས་ཚུལ་མི་སྡུག་པས་ཐོ་བཙམས་ནས། ཁྱིམ་ནས་བསྐྲད་པའི་ལས་དེའི་རྣམ་པར་སྨིན་པས་ནི་གང་དང་གང་དུ་སྐྱེས་པ་དེ་དང་དེར་མི་སྡུག་པར་གྱུར་ཏེ་ཁྱིམ་ནས་བསྐྲད་དོ། །དེས་རང་སངས་རྒྱས་ལ་ཕྱིར་ཡང་བསོད་སྙོམས་ཕུལ་ནས་སྨོན་ལམ་བཏབ་སྟེ། གང་དང་གང་དུ་སྐྱེ་བར་འགྱུར་བ་དེ་དང་དེར་ཕྱུག་ཅིང་ནོར་མང་ལ་ལོངས་སྤྱོད་ཆེ་བའི་རིགས་སུ་སྐྱེ་བར་ཤོག་ཅིག །འདི་བས་ཀྱང་ཆེས་ཁྱད་པར་དུ་འཕགས་པའི་སྟོན་པ་མཉེས་པར་བྱེད་པར་གྱུར་ཅིག །མི་མཉེས་པར་བྱེད་པར་མ་གྱུར་ཅིག །ཡོན་ཏན་འདི་ལྟ་བུ་དག་ཀྱང་ཐོབ་པར་གྱུར་ཅིག་ཅེས་བྱས་པའི་ལས་དེའི་རྣམ་པར་སྨིན་པས་ནི་གང་དང་གང

那位增长者心想，这个烦恼已经低劣衰败了，如果永远低劣下去是不行的，必须对它进行扶持，于是升到天空之上，显示出燃烧、闪耀、降雨、闪电等神变。那些凡夫俗子很容易被神变所折服，像用锯子锯断树木一样，向他顶礼膜拜，说道：具有大福德者，请降临吧！请您从我这堕入恶行的泥潭之手中救拔我吧！那位独觉佛也因为对他心怀慈悲，降落到地上，让他礼拜自己的双脚，请求宽恕，又供养了食物，并发愿说：像我这样对如此功德之田造成损害的业，愿我不要成为它的承受者！像我这样再次恭敬供养的善根，愿我无论生于何处，都能生于富裕、多财、享用丰厚的家族中！愿我能令比这更殊胜的导师欢喜！不要令他不欢喜！愿我也能获得如此的功德！如果这个罪业的果报不可避免地成熟于我身，那么在我生起出离心之后，愿我的一切丑陋都消失，变成美好的容貌！众比丘，你们怎么想？当时的那个施主就是这个丑陋者，他当时在供养独觉佛食物之后又抢夺回来，以身语的丑陋行为进行威胁，并被逐出家门，这个业的成熟，导致他无论生于何处都变得丑陋，并被逐出家门。他再次供养独觉佛食物并发愿说：无论我将生于何处，愿我都能生于富裕、多财、享用丰厚的家族中！愿我能令比这更殊胜的导师欢喜！不要令他不欢喜！愿我也能获得如此的功德！这个业的成熟，导致他无论生于何处

That increaser thought, "This affliction has become inferior and decayed. It is not right for it to remain inferior forever. I must support it." So he rose into the sky and displayed miracles such as burning, shining, raining, and lightning. Those ordinary people were easily subdued by the miracles. Like cutting down a tree with a saw, they prostrated at his feet and said, "O possessor of great merit, please descend! Please deliver me from the hand that has fallen into the mire of evil deeds!" That Pratyekabuddha, out of compassion for him, descended to the ground and allowed him to worship his feet, asking for forgiveness. He also offered food and made the aspiration: "May I not be the recipient of the karma of harming such a field of merit as this! May this root of virtue, which I have again offered with reverence, cause me to be born in a wealthy, rich, and prosperous family wherever I am born! May I please a teacher who is even more excellent than this! May I not displease him! May I also attain such qualities! If the result of this sinful deed inevitably ripens upon me, may all my ugliness disappear as soon as I generate the mind of renunciation, and may I become beautiful!" Monks, what do you think? That householder at that time was none other than this ugly one. At that time, after offering food to the Pratyekabuddha, he snatched it back, threatened him with ugly actions of body and speech, and was expelled from his home. The ripening of that karma caused him to be born ugly wherever he was born, and he was expelled from his home. He again offered food to the Pratyekabuddha and made the aspiration: "Wherever I am born, may I be born in a wealthy, rich, and prosperous family! May I please a teacher who is even more excellent than this! May I not displease him! May I also attain such qualities!" The ripening of that karma caused him to be born wherever he was born
