The so-called transformation is to expect those five places, and parents hope to have sons. Khenpos and Acharyas first generate the mind of compassion, thinking about how to make these beings who have been wandering from beginningless time, if they are not given the grace of parents, they will continue to fall. It is like what the World Honored One said in the Vinaya: The Khenpo should have the thought of a son towards the disciple, and the disciple should have the thought of a father towards the Khenpo. Similarly, they should have the thought of parents and children towards each other. In this way, the Khenpo and the Acharya are the same and equal to the parents. The World Honored One also said in the Sutra of the Wheel-Turning King: By what kind of karma ripening can the Wheel-Turning King obtain the elephant treasure and the horse treasure? That is because in the past life, he served his parents, loved elephants, horses, chariots, etc., respected the Khenpo and the Acharya, and did not harm others. Because of the ripening of good karma, the Wheel-Turning King can obtain the elephant treasure and the horse treasure. For this reason, parents, Khenpos, and Acharyas are the same and equal. For householders, parents are the place of offering; for renunciants, Khenpos and Acharyas are the place of offering. Therefore, Khenpos, Acharyas, and parents are the same and equal. For example, the World Honored One once said to the monks: Monks, if someone carries their parents on their shoulders, circles the entire Jambudvipa, and provides everything they need, even if they fill the four continents with wealth and gold to give, they cannot repay the kindness of their parents. However, if someone can make their parents generate faith in the Buddha, generate faith in the Dharma and the Sangha, abide in the five precepts, and guide them on the path praised by the noble ones, then even just respectfully greeting, welcoming, folding their palms, laying out seats, offering robes, food, bedding, and medicine, they cannot fully repay the kindness of their parents. From this, it can be seen that Khenpos and Acharyas are more superior than parents. In short, since the World Honored One passed into Nirvana, whether it is a monk or

The Bhikshunis, or Upasakas or Upasikas, as many as have become devoted and tamed, all of them have been devoted and tamed by the Khenpo and Acharya. Therefore, the Blessed One said: O Bhikshus, those who believe in my words should generate supreme faith in the Buddha, the Blessed One. Generate supreme faith in the Dharma and the Sangha, and in parents and Khenpo and Acharya. That will become a cause of benefit and happiness for you for a long time. Like that which was said, such an action will ripen in another land. So, with what action does a being become happy at first, and later does the action of becoming miserable exist? What is that? It should be explained, here, some people are very happy when they are begged for alms, they promise and give with great joy, and after giving they regret it. Then, even if they are born as humans, they are born into a wealthy and prosperous family. Those enjoyments will later be exhausted and depleted. That later becomes poor, just like the boy named Fame. He had a wrong belief in the perfectly complete Buddha, and offered a milking cow to the Sangha of Bhikshus. Later, others accused him, and thought that giving like that was not good. Therefore, regret arose in his mind, wherever he was born, he was initially rich, but later regret arose in his mind, and he eventually became poor. He was later born in Rajagriha (present-day Rajgir), and at birth his mother passed away, and because he was born, his mother also passed away. This person, because of the stars, born from karma, will destroy the lineage, this person is inauspicious, and after saying this, he was abandoned in the cemetery together with his mother. There, also, by the power of his merit, milk came from one of his mother's breasts, and he was raised and grew up. Later he went to the Blessed One and became a monk. Like this, he first generated faith and offered a milking cow, and later regretted it, so the result of that action was that the previous offering with faith became the seed of his liberation. Later, because of regret, he eventually became poor, like this, this is what kind of action one has, a sentient being is happy at first and later suffers.
