Do not enter, may those who possess the union of self-discomfort, I pray for those who possess the meaning of the union of bliss. Those whose ugly forms are bound by happiness, In the respective realms of gods and humans, Committing sins and completely deteriorating, They go under the power of aging and death. Whoever, during the days and nights, Acts with mindfulness, abandoning ugly forms, They will cut off the difficult-to-abandon food of Mara, And uproot the root of sin. With the manner of non-virtue as virtue, and with the manner of non-beauty as beauty, and with the manner of suffering as happiness, The unmindful are openly destroyed. If they make me happy, Happiness through wrongdoing, Is not easily obtained, Therefore, this should not be placed in suffering. If they make me happy, Happiness through doing good, Will be easily obtained, Therefore, this should not be placed in sin. Just as a city of monasteries, Is surrounded by a strong moat, If they make me happy, Then protect this well with protection. If they make me happy, At any of the three times, A wise person, with something called "Mel-tse," Should hide this well with hiding. Just as a city of monasteries, Protects both inside and out, Do not waste leisure and opportunity, Thus, protect yourself. Even if sentient beings are born in hell, They will regret wasting leisure and opportunity. Even if the mind fully investigates in all directions, Nothing more hateful than oneself is seen. Thus, individually, Others also find themselves hateful, Therefore, do not harm others with your own desires. All beings cherish this life, All fear annihilation, Measure from your own experience, Do not strike, do not kill. A person banished far away, Returns from afar without illness, Relatives, friends, and loved ones gather, And rejoice, exclaiming "Alala!" Likewise, a person who has done meritorious deeds, From this world to the next, When they pass away, day by day, meritorious deeds, Come and make them rejoice. Therefore, for the sake of the next world, Accumulate meritorious deeds, Meritorious deeds in the next world, Will become the abode of embodied beings. Whoever practices virtuous conduct, The gods praise their virtue, They will not be disparaged in this world, And they will also obtain joy in the heavens. Abiding in Dharma, possessing perfect morality.

Knowing shame and speaking the truth, when doing one's own deeds, make other people happy. When doing one's own benefit, in this way, others will be happy, praised in this life, and also go to happiness in the next. When speaking, say words of permission, and when preventing improper conduct, make the noble ones happy, but not the non-noble. Therefore, when the superior and non-superior die, pass away, and become separated, the non-noble go to hell, and the noble go to heaven. The fifth chapter on suffering is complete. When praise is obtained and wealth is acquired, and when one is happy to go to happiness in the next life, the wise should protect morality for the sake of seeking these three happinesses. Seeing these other places that are holy, have perfect vision, and become the basis of worldly peace, the wise should protect morality. Without any suffering in the body, one obtains happiness through morality. One sleeps peacefully at night, and when awake, one is also happy. The merit made by the wise who give with morality, in this life and in the next, one will always obtain happiness. Morality is best in old age, and it is excellent to abide in faith. The jewel of humans is wisdom, which is difficult for thieves of merit to steal. A monk who abides in morality, whose senses are well-controlled, who knows the measure of food, and who strives to not sleep, one who strives to abide in this way, and does not engage in lazy deeds day and night, because it is the cause of approaching Nirvana, all decline will not arise. If a person abides in morality, and when cultivating the mind and wisdom, a monk who is diligent and determined to abide, will obtain the result of exhausting suffering. Therefore, always protect morality and equanimity, and study in higher vision, and remember each with knowledge. Having exhausted all bonds, one will accomplish detachment without remainder, and when the body is destroyed, the wise will realize immeasurable and countless Nirvana. Whoever cultivates these three well: morality, equanimity, and wisdom, is extremely stainless and reaches the ultimate, has exhausted suffering and existence, is liberated from the bonds of attachment, and the wise who abandon the body can cut off and escape from the realm of Mara.
