Ra. Whatever Bhikshu abides in loving-kindness, and is greatly pleased with the Buddha's teaching, he exhausts all bonds, and gradually realizes the manifestation. Whatever Bhikshu abides in loving-kindness, and is greatly pleased with the Buddha's teaching, he draws himself out of the evil destinies, like an elephant from a mud swamp. Whatever Bhikshu abides in loving-kindness, and is greatly pleased with the Buddha's teaching, he shakes off all sinful dharmas, like the wind blowing away the leaves of a tree. Whatever Bhikshu abides in loving-kindness, and is greatly pleased with the Buddha's teaching, because he is near to Nirvana, it is impossible for him to regress. With a joyful mind and a good heart, one who can subdue joy and displeasure, a Bhikshu, through much joy, will attain the exhaustion of suffering. Body is peaceful, speech is peaceful, mind is peaceful, well-established in equanimity, having abandoned the world's entanglements, that Bhikshu is said to be tranquil. Without concentration there is no wisdom, without wisdom there is no concentration, he who possesses both wisdom and concentration, is said to be a Bhikshu. Therefore, in concentration and wisdom, the wise should engage, likewise, for that wise Bhikshu, this is the first thing to be done. Being content, the senses should be restrained, and bound by the Pratimoksha vows. One should also know the measure of food, and dwell in secluded places at the edge, and practice yoga on the higher mind. This is the teaching of the Buddha. Whoever has no sinful deeds done in body, speech, and mind, that one is a Bhikshu with good morality and a sense of shame. Whoever has well cultivated the seven branches of enlightenment of perfect Bodhi, that one is a Bhikshu with good qualities, said to be a Bhikshu in equanimity. Here, whoever well knows the exhaustion of his own suffering, is virtuous and endowed with wisdom, is said to be a Bhikshu without outflows. If the exhaustion of outflows is not attained, is mere morality and asceticism enough? Or much learning? Or dwelling in solitary places? Even if concentration is attained, it is in vain, he is not a Bhikshu who has cut off the firewood. This world, which says 'I' in relation to the aggregates, gives rise to suffering. The bliss of perfect Bodhi, is shown and manifested by the noble ones. As it is thought, so it changes, it changes.

This is the world of existence, attached to existence, delighting in existence, manifestly attached to existence, delighting in existence, manifestly delighting in existence itself. Whatever is a cause for joy is suffering, whatever is itchy is comfort. In order to completely abandon existence, celibacy is practiced here. As many ascetics and Brahmins as there are who say they emerge from existence through existence, all of them should be said not to emerge from existence. As many ascetics and Brahmins as there are who say they emerge from existence through existence, all of them should be said not to be liberated from existence. Suffering arises from the cause of grasping, and grasping arises from suffering. If all grasping is completely exhausted, then great suffering will not arise. In all grasping, as many aspects of existence as there are, all of them are impermanent, suffering, and subject to complete change. When one sees them as they are with right and virtuous wisdom, one will completely abandon the craving for existence, and because there is no existence, one will not be manifestly delighted. Thus, a monk who has passed beyond sorrow, who has no other grasping and no rebirth, has subdued the demon, conquered the battlefield, and completely transcended all existence; this is the end of suffering. A monk who has cut off things, is near to peace, and whose mind is peaceful, will have no rebirth, and has completely abandoned the cycle of birth. A monk who has cut off things, is near to peace, and whose mind is peaceful, will be liberated from the bonds of the demon, and has completely abandoned the cycle of birth. A monk who has cut off things, and whose mind has become free from defilements, will have no rebirth, and has completely abandoned the cycle of birth. A monk who has cut off things, and whose mind has become free from defilements, will be liberated from the bonds of the demon, and has completely abandoned the cycle of birth. A monk who has cut off things, and has severed the craving for existence, will have no rebirth, and has completely abandoned the cycle of birth. A monk who has cut off things, and has severed the craving for existence, will be liberated from the bonds of the demon, and has completely abandoned the cycle of birth.
