Attachment! Look, even the little that is possessed will be lost. Those who realize the merit of having nothing, those who have nothing are happy. People are attached to the minds of people. Attachment! Look, even the little that is possessed will be lost. Those who realize the merit of having nothing, those who have nothing are happy. People are attached to the bodies of people. Look, even the little that is possessed will be lost. Being controlled by others is all suffering, those who have autonomy are all happy. Union is extremely difficult to abandon, it is exhausted by being common. Among those who are attached, dwelling in non-attachment, in attachment not being attached, how wonderful! Living extremely happily. Among those who are afflicted by disease, dwelling in health, among the sick being healthy, how wonderful! Living extremely happily. Among those who are harmful, dwelling in harmlessness, in harm being harmless, how wonderful! Living extremely happily. Among those who have harmful minds, dwelling in harmlessness, in those who have harmful minds being harmless, how wonderful! Living extremely happily. Among those who have hatred, dwelling in non-hatred, in those who have hatred being without hatred, how wonderful! Living extremely happily. Even if people oppress me extremely, I have no anger at all. Because I have nothing, how wonderful! Living extremely happily. Although I have nothing, I enjoy joy, like a god of light, how wonderful! Living extremely happily. Because I do not rely on the perishable aggregate, although I have nothing, I enjoy joy, how wonderful! Living extremely happily. Meeting and touching occur due to the cause of grasping, without grasping, with what would one meet and without touching? The happiness and suffering caused by self and others, will not touch in solitude or in the city. In this world, happiness and suffering do not make noble people high or low, the steadfast are not swayed by the cause of desire, noble people go everywhere. The thirtieth chapter, the chapter of happiness, is complete. The chapter of special discourse. The fourth volume is complete, that is, the last volume. Difficult to grasp and light, going wherever one pleases, taming the mind is excellent, taming the mind leads to happiness. When abandoning the basis of demons,

Having been thoroughly removed from the river's abode, Like a fish abandoned on dry land, My mind is completely agitated. Like rays of light from the sun, My mind runs in various directions. Those should be determined and restrained by the wise, Like an elephant controlled by a hook. For my meaningless actions, And the empty void without essence, In order to always tame it, I will speak to that mind. This mind, how it used to desire, And roam and wander as it pleased. Like a man controlling a drunken elephant with a hook, It should be seized by proper conduct. This builder of houses, Brings the suffering of repeated births. So many cycles of birth, Now you have uprooted them all. House builder, I have seen you, The great beam of the house is destroyed, All the rafters are broken, From now on you shall not build a house. The mind, separated from actions, Desires cessation in this very life. The mind is wavering and false, It goes far and is difficult to restrain. Like an arrow-maker straightening an arrow with fire, It should be straightened by a tamed mind. Whoever dwells in the cave without a body, Wanders alone and goes far, Taming that mind, Will be liberated from great fear. The mind with wrong aspirations, Will cause suffering to oneself, Enemies to enemies, Foes to foes, would not do that either. The mind with right aspirations, Will cause oneself to be happy, Parents and, Other relatives, would not do that either. Just as when a roof is poorly covered, Rain will leak through completely, Likewise, the mind that is not cultivated, Is completely overcome by desires. Just as when a roof is well covered, Rain will not leak through, Likewise, the mind that is well cultivated, Will not be overcome by desires. Just as when a roof is poorly covered, Rain will leak through completely, Likewise, the mind that is not cultivated, Is completely overcome by hatred. Just as when a roof is well covered, Rain will not leak through, Likewise, the mind that is well cultivated, Will not be overcome by hatred. Just as when a roof is poorly covered, Rain will leak through completely, Likewise, the mind that is not cultivated, Is completely overcome by ignorance.
