They contemplate, they measure, and they discern. Having contemplated, measured, and discerned, they are assigned to perform various different crafts and works. Therefore, they are known as "Mind-born" or "Mind-born ones." Gautama, these six kings are of immeasurable and incalculable lifespan. Gautama, from my right thigh arose a fleshly boil, soft and very pliable, like the fiber of a silk-cotton tree or cotton, causing no harm whatsoever. It matured and burst open, and from it emerged a boy, handsome, pleasing to behold, beautiful, adorned with the thirty-two marks of a great man. Because he was born from the right thigh, his name became "Beautiful One, Beautiful One." That youth is of great magical power and strength, and even now he wields dominion over the royal power of the four continents. Gautama, from the left thigh of the Beautiful One arose a fleshly boil, soft and very pliable, like the fiber of a silk-cotton tree or cotton, causing no harm whatsoever. It matured and burst open, and from it emerged a boy, handsome, pleasing to behold, beautiful, adorned with the thirty-two marks of a great man. Because he was born from the left thigh, his name became "Near Beautiful One, Near Beautiful One." When it matured and burst open, a handsome boy appeared, pleasing to look at, beautiful, completely adorned with the thirty-two marks of a great man, born from the left foot, therefore he was named Near Beautiful Wise, Near Beautiful Wise. That youth, being of great miraculous power and great strength, still holds the power of kingship over one continent. Gautama, in that case, the son revered by many kings is Radiant. The son of Radiant is Good. The son of Good is Supreme Good. The son of Supreme Good is Superior Sojong. The son of Superior Sojong is I-Power. The son of I-Power is Beautiful. The son of Beautiful is Near Beautiful.
