The Sutra of Manifestation The Sutra of Manifestation In Sanskrit: Abhisaamayana Sutra. In Tibetan: The Sutra of Manifestation. Homage to the Three Jewels! Whose head is radiant with jewels, Whose consort, the lotus, is blooming, with stamens full of splendor, Making supplicants rejoice, having attained Buddhahood, Teaching the Dharma, the peaceful one, I pay homage to you! Whose attainment transcends the fear of the lower realms, Making all the bonds of existence cease and become peaceful, Crossing over the endless ocean of suffering and samsara, The sole bridge, the Sugata's Dharma, I pay homage to you! Who possesses excellent qualities, is the place of giving, Even a small offering becomes vast, Praised by the Sugata, by the eight supreme individuals, Adorned, the noble Sangha, I pay homage to you! If one analyzes the Sage's teachings, Without generating faith, Or without benefit, that is nothing, The ability to gather words and the separation from grasping, Because of distraction, this effort of mine is only a little. Just as a bee in the center of a blooming lotus, Circles around the lotus, doing a little, etc., Similarly, from the lotus grove of the Sage's face, I will gather a little that makes my own mind rejoice. The Sage's teachings are all very difficult to understand, For a faithful person, they increase daily, If one analyzes in detail, one cannot even fathom half a verse, What need is there to mention collecting hundreds of precious sutras? In all directions, the light of fame and renown pervades, Known as Rabsel, having become the lord of the earth, By the power of merit, having conquered enemies, by the lesser kings, Bowing down, with the light of jeweled crowns, he cleansed his face. The elephant king, infatuated with lust and desire, With no immediate remedy, when afflicted by afflictions, Seeing the faults of beings' attachment and wanting to pacify them, With steadfast mind, having become the Sage, the powerful one, therefore made a vow. From then on, giving, ethics, patience, Diligence, meditation, unwavering sharp wisdom, Without regard for his own happiness, he practiced them truly for a very long time, For the benefit of beings, he performed hundreds of difficult deeds. 顶礼！ 您为利益众生所作之事，不觉疲倦何其多， 言说此事舍利子亦不能， 然为有缘者，略作讲述。 虎母、尸毗王、象、猴、苦行自在， 梵天等身，于百千生中行善业， 成办一切义利，伟大之士一生中， 菩提萨埵于兜率天处受生。 住于彼处，善观一切众生， 无依漂泊、贫困者遍满， 大悲心生起欢喜， 为利他，于自续中立誓。 因此，如何降临人间， 见生老病死之怖畏， 具慧出家者，证得圆满菩提。 如是宣说正法，请谛听。 其后，安住于兜率天之菩提萨埵，于无数劫中，以无量方式积聚无量福德与智慧资粮，圆满了菩提资粮。以大悲心策励那些被烦恼之河流以强大力量彻底冲断者。为了利益他人，恒常精进，心中如是显现：我于无数生世中轮回时，布施、极大布施自己的血肉、头目、儿女妻妾等，安住于难行之戒律，忍受他人所施加的种种不敬，恒常具有不懈怠之欢喜，不贪著具有果实之等持之乐，以具有辨别有无之义的为利他而精进之智慧，对于被种种难以忍受之痛苦感受所折磨之可怜众生，生起极大悲悯，如慈力、月光、尸毗王、象王、一切救度、安忍语者、猴王、美目、大药等，于千百生世中发愿并积聚资粮。唉玛唻玛，我将引导盲世。

Homage! How tireless are your deeds for the benefit of beings, Even Shariputra cannot fully express them here, But for the sake of those who are connected, I will briefly recount them. As Tigress, Shibi, Elephant, Monkey, Ascetic Empowerment, Brahma, etc., in hundreds of thousands of lifetimes, you performed virtuous deeds, Striving to accomplish all purposes, the great being attained it in one lifetime. The Bodhisattva took birth in the Tushita heaven. Residing there, you gazed upon all beings, Seeing the helpless, wandering, and impoverished filling everything, Great compassion arose in your heart with joy, And you vowed in your own being to work for the benefit of others. Therefore, how you descended to the human realm, Seeing the fears of birth, aging, sickness, and death, The wise renunciate, through your actions, attained perfect enlightenment. Thus, listen to the explanation of how you taught the Dharma. Thereafter, the Bodhisattva residing in the Tushita heaven, having accumulated immeasurable merit and wisdom in countless eons in various ways, perfected the accumulation of enlightenment. With great compassion, you urged those who were completely severed by the powerful river of afflictions. Constantly striving for the benefit of others, you manifested such thoughts in your mind: When I wandered in many lifetimes, I gave away, and gave away exceedingly, my own flesh, blood, head, eyes, children, and consorts, and I abided by difficult precepts, and I endured various disrespects inflicted by others, and I always had unflagging joy, and I was not attached to the bliss of meditative stabilization with its fruits, and with wisdom that discerns the meaning of existence and non-existence, striving for the benefit of others, I generated supreme compassion for the miserable sentient beings whose minds were tormented by many unbearable feelings of suffering, like the power of loving-kindness, Moonbeam, Shibi, Elephant, All Deliverance, Speaker of Patience, Monkey King, Beautiful Eyes, Great Medicine, etc., having made aspirations and accumulated merit in thousands of lifetimes. Emaho, alas, I will lead the blind world.
