ནལ། །རྒྱལ་པོས་གསོལ་པ། དཔའ་བོ་ཉིད་ཀྱི་ཕོ་བྲང་ན། །གླང་པོ་ཤིང་རྟ་རྟས་བཞུད་པ། །ཚེར་མར་བཅས་པའི་ས་གཞི་ལ། །ཞབས་ཀྱིས་ཇི་ལྟར་གཤེགས་པར་མཛད། །བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། ང་ཡི་ཤིང་རྟ་རྫུ་འཕྲུལ་རྐང་། །ཡང་དག་རྩོལ་བའི་གཞོལ་བ་ཡིས། །ས་ཀུན་རྣམ་པར་རྒྱུ་ན་ཡང་། །ཉོན་མོངས་ཚེར་མས་གནོད་པ་མེད། །རྒྱལ་པོ་ཟས་གཙང་གིས་གསོལ་པ། དཔའ་བོ་སྔོན་ནི་ཀ་ཤི་ཀའི། །ན་བཟའ་མནབས་ནས་མཛེས་པ་ལས། །ངུར་སྨྲིག་རྩུབ་པོའི་གོས་མནབས་པ། །ཇི་ལྟར་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་སྐུ་ཡིས་བཟོད། །བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། རྒྱལ་པོ་ངའི་གོས་ངོ་ཚ་ཤེས། །ང་ཡི་བགོ་བ་སྣམ་སྦྱར་ཏེ། །དེ་བགོས་ཐུབ་པ་ཞི་བ་རྣམས། །ནགས་ཁྲོད་ན་ནི་མཛེས་པར་འགྱུར། །རྒྱལ་པོ་ཟས་ གཙང་གིས་གསོལ་པ། འདི་ལྟར་ཁྱོད་སྔོན་གསེར་གྱི་གཞང་པ་ནས། །དུ་མའི་རོ་ལྡན་འབྲས་ཆན་གསོལ་བ་ལས། །འདི་ལྟར་གཙོ་བོ་ད་ལྟའི་བསོད་སྙོམས་ནི། །ཕལ་པ་གསོལ་བ་ཇི་ལྟར་མགུལ་དུ་མཆི། །བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། ཟས་ཀྱི་སྲེད་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་སྤངས་ནས་ནི། །ངེས་པར་བྱུང་དང་མཉམ་པར་བཞག་ལྡན་པའི། །ང་ཡི་ཆོས་ཀྱི་རོ་མཆོག་གསོལ་མོད་ཀྱི། །འཇིག་རྟེན་ལ་སྙིང་བརྩེ་བའི་ཕྱིར་སྤྱོད་དོ། །རྒྱལ་པོ་ཟས་གཙང་གིས་གསོལ་པ། མགུར་དུ་བདེ་བ་མང་བགྱིད་པའི། །རྒུན་སྐྱེམས་ཁ་རའི་ཆབ་གསོལ་ན། །རྙོག་པ་ཅན་ལ་དྲི་ང་བའི། །ཆབ་ནི་ཇི་ལྟ་ཞིག་ཏུ་གསོལ། །བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། མི་ཡི་བདག་པོ་གང་འཐུངས་ན། །བདག་ལ་འཐུང་བ་ཐམས་ཅད་ནི། དུག་དང་འདྲ་བར་སྣང་གྱུར་པ། །ཆབ་ཀྱི་རོ་མཆོག་ང་འཐུང་ངོ་། །རྒྱལ་པོ་ཟས་གཙང་གིས་གསོལ་པ། འདི་ལྟར་ཁྱོད་སྔོན་བསིལ་ཁང་གཞལ་མེད་ཁང་། །ཁང་བཟངས་སྟེང་ན་ཇི་ལྟའི་དུས་བཞིན་བཞུགས། །ད་ལྟར་གཅིག་པུ་ནགས་ཁྲོད་ཁྱོད་བཞུགས་པ། །བློ་བཟངས་ཇི་ལྟར་བསྙེངས་པ་མེད་པར་བཞུགས། །བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། ་ཏམ་འཇིགས་པའི་རྩ་བ་གང་ཡིན་པ། །དྲི་མ་བག་ཆགས་བཅས་པར་ཡང་སྤངས་པས། །ང་ནི་མྱ་ངན་འཇིགས་པ་མེད་གནས་ཏེ། །ང་ལ་འདི་ན་འཇིགས་པ་ཆུང་ཟད་མེད། །རྒྱལ་པོ་ཟས་གཙང་གིས་གསོལ་པ། ཁྱོད་སྔོན་ཁྲུས་ཁང་ཤིན་ཏུ་ཡིད་འོང་བར། །ཁྲུས་མཆོག་ཁྱད་པར་འཕགས་པས་རྟག་བསིལ་ན། །གཅིག་པུ་ཁྱོད་ནི་ནགས་ཁྲོད་གནས་ལྡན་པར། །ཐུབ་དབང་ད་ལྟར་སུ་ཡིས་ཁྲུས་མཛད་འགྱུར། །བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། ་ཏམ་ཆོས་ཀྱི་མཚོ་ཕྲན་དྲི་མེད་པ། །ཚུལ་ཁྲིམས་འཇུག་ངོགས་དམ་པས་བསྔགས་པ་སྟེ། །དེ་ལ་རེག་པ

那拉。国王问道：勇士您在王宫里，乘坐着大象、车辆和骏马，如今在布满荆棘的土地上，是如何行走的呢？ 世尊回答说：我的车辆是神通之足，以精进努力为动力，即使周游各地，也不会被烦恼的荆棘所伤害。 净饭王问道：勇士您以前穿着迦尸迦的细布，显得非常华丽，现在却穿着粗糙的袈裟，您的身体是如何忍受的呢？ 世尊回答说：国王，我的衣服知惭愧，我的穿着是衲衣，穿着它能够寂静的人，在森林里会显得庄严。 净饭王问道：像您这样以前在金盘中，享用各种美味的米饭，如今尊者您现在托钵乞食，食用粗劣的食物，是如何下咽的呢？ 世尊回答说：我已经舍弃了对食物的一切贪欲，拥有出离和禅定的境界，我食用的是殊胜的法味，但为了慈悲世间而行持。 净饭王问道：以前在宫中享用带来诸多快乐的葡萄美酒，现在却饮用浑浊且有异味的河水，您是如何饮用的呢？ 世尊回答说：人王，无论喝什么，对我来说，一切饮品都像毒药一样，我饮用的是殊胜的法味之水。 净饭王问道：像您这样以前在凉爽的无量宫殿里，在楼阁之上按照时节居住，现在独自一人住在森林里，贤善的您是如何毫无畏惧地安住的呢？ 世尊回答说：贪（藏文：ཏམ་），是恐惧的根源，我已经连同习气一起断除了，我住在没有忧伤和恐惧的地方，我在这里没有丝毫的恐惧。 净饭王问道：您以前在极其悦意的浴池中，享受着殊胜且恒常清凉的沐浴，现在独自一人住在森林里，大能者，现在是谁为您沐浴呢？ 世尊回答说：贪（藏文：ཏམ་），清净无垢的法之小海，以戒律为入处，被圣者所赞叹，触及它

Nala. The king asked: "O Hero, in your palace, you used to ride elephants, chariots, and horses. How do you now walk with your feet on the thorny ground?" The Blessed One replied: "My chariot is the foot of miraculous power, driven by the effort of diligence. Even though I travel all over the earth, I am not harmed by the thorns of affliction." King Śuddhodana asked: "O Hero, you used to wear fine garments of Kāśī and looked beautiful. How does your body now endure wearing rough robes of ochre?" The Blessed One replied: "O King, my clothes know shame. My garment is a patched robe. Those who are able to wear it, the peaceful ones, will appear beautiful in the forest." King Śuddhodana asked: "Like you, who used to eat various delicious rice dishes from golden plates, how do you, O Lord, now partake of ordinary alms food? How does it go down your throat?" The Blessed One replied: "Having abandoned all craving for food, possessing the state of renunciation and meditative equipoise, I partake of the supreme taste of Dharma, but I act for the sake of compassion for the world." King Śuddhodana asked: "You used to drink grape wine that brought much pleasure in the palace. How do you now drink turbid and foul-smelling water?" The Blessed One replied: "O Lord of men, whatever one drinks, to me, all drinks appear like poison. I drink the supreme taste of the water of Dharma." King Śuddhodana asked: "Like you, who used to live in cool, immeasurable palaces, on top of mansions, according to the seasons, how do you, O wise one, now live alone in the forest without being disheartened?" The Blessed One replied: "Greed (Tibetan: Tam), which is the root of fear, I have abandoned even with its imprints. I dwell in a place free from sorrow and fear. I have no fear here at all." King Śuddhodana asked: "You used to bathe in extremely delightful bathing ponds, always cool with excellent and extraordinary bathing. Now that you live alone in the forest, O Sage, who will bathe you now?" The Blessed One replied: "Greed (Tibetan: Tam), the small, stainless ocean of Dharma, with discipline as its entrance, praised by the holy ones, touching it
