the cause of. I shall abandon the evil edge like the mouth of a snake. Then, when the Bodhisattva slept on the great bed, on that very night he dreamed five dreams: the great earth itself was the bed, and Mount Sumeru, the king of mountains, was placed as a headrest. The left hand enters the great ocean of the east, the right hand enters the great ocean of the west, both feet enter the great ocean, and the root of the tree called "Stretching" arises from the tongue and stands up to the sky. All the white-bodied, black-headed birds touch both feet and look up to the kneecap, and various birds come from the four directions and gather in front of them as one color, and on top of the impure corpse, one walks without being stained by impurity. Having dreamed such a dream, he was very happy and thought, "Having dreamed such a dream, I will surely attain unsurpassed wisdom before long." The one with fame also dreamed that all his teeth had fallen out, the conch arm had broken, the moon had fallen to the ground, and the stars were crying. The one with fame also told the Bodhisattva the dream he had dreamed, and the Bodhisattva said: Your teeth are in your mouth, this moon is in the castle, dispel the sorrow in your heart, and sleep peacefully without worry. Then the one with fame thought: If I dream a terrible dream, my heart will be filled with doubt. Will tonight not become suffering and separation? Then the lord of the gods, Indra, thought: Although Bodhisattvas have the power of what kind of cause, they must still be accomplished by conditions. Thus, even the great power of the cause depends on the power of conditions. Having thought thus, he went to where the Bodhisattva was, and having arrived, sat on the foundation of the mansion and said to the Bodhisattva: The monkey of the forest, walks in a similar realm, like a foal sitting on a branch. If you are freed from the qualities of desire, then you will see a vision that is clearer than that. Wise and good one, arise, arise! Abandon this place and dwell.

At the Uḍḍiyāna. After attaining omniscience, May (you) liberate beings. The Bodhisattva said: "Don't you see? I am surrounded like a deer king. People are holding powerful bows, arrows, swords. Many horses, cattle, chariots, and armies, Have completely surrounded Kapilavastu (ser skya) from all sides. Śuddhodana (zas gtsang) and the Shakya clan, Are wearing well-equipped armor, riding elephants and horses. Various ugly people are holding weapons, Residing in the courtyards, stables, pavilions, and foundations. The palace and the gates of the houses, And also the gates of the city, Are blocked and tightly sealed, Thus, they are being fully guarded. The sounds of horns, drums, and paṭahas, Are resounding in the courtyards, stables, and pavilions. The crowds of elephants, cavalry, and striving people, Are constantly guarding to prevent me from leaving." Indra prayed: "Please remember the prophecy of Dīpaṃkara Buddha (དེས་པ་མར་མེ་མཛད།), And also this world tormented by suffering. Please remember your previous vows, Abandon your home, and definitely renounce." "How can you go to the forest without any obstacles, Today? We, Brahma and other gods, Will do so." The Bodhisattva said "Good," and was very pleased in his heart. Then, Indra, the lord of the gods, made the people fall asleep, and ordered the five great yaksha chiefs to act: "Friends, the Bodhisattva is coming down from the upper pavilion, take away the ladder!" When they took away the ladder and the Bodhisattva came down, Indra immediately signaled the attendant Chandaka (འདུན་པ་) to go to where he was. When he saw that Chandaka was overwhelmed by deep sleep, the Bodhisattva tried hard to wake him up, and said in verse: "Chandaka, get up! Quickly from the house, Bring my precious and praised steed. The garden of asceticism enjoyed by past Buddhas, I will go to make the Buddhas happy." Chandaka opened his sleepy eyes and said: "Deity, now is not the time to go to the garden. Dīpaṃkara (དེས་པ་), you have no enmity with anyone. You have no enemies, Where are you going to ride in the middle of the night?" The Bodhisattva
