་ཤིག །དེས་སྨྲས་པ་མ་འཚལ་ཏོ། །བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔས་གསུངས་པ། འཇིག་རྟེན་དུ་གཉིས་ཤིག་བྱུང་ནས་མངོན་པར་འགྱུར་ཏེ་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་དང་འཁོར་ལོས་སྒྱུར་བའོ། །ནམ་མཁའི་ངོས་ལ་གནས་པའི་ཚངས་པས་སྨྲས་པ། སྲིན་བུ་གོ་ཆ་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔས་ཇི་སྐད་གསུངས་པ་དེ་དེ་བཞིན་ཏེ། ཡི་གེ་འདི་ནི་འཇིག་རྟེན་དུ་གཉིས་ཤིག་བྱུང་ན་མངོན་པར་འགྱུར་ཏེ་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་འམ། འཁོར་ལོས་སྒྱུར་བའི་རྒྱལ་པོའོ། །བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔས་ཡི་གེ་དེ་ཚངས་པའི་དབྱངས་ཀྱིས་བཀླགས་ལ་ནམ་མཁའི་ངོས་ལ་གནས་པའི་ཚངས་པས་དབང་བྱས་པས་ཚངས་པའི་ཡི་གེ་ཞེས་བྱ་བར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །དེ་ནས་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་ཡི་གེའི་མཐར་ཕྱིན་པ་དང་འཁོར་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་དང་བཅས་པར་བཟང་ལེན་དང་། ལྷར་བཅས་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་འཕོང་གི་སློབ་དཔོན་གྱི་གན་དུ་འཕོང་གི་གནས་སུ་གཏད་དོ། །དེ་ནས་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་གནས་ལྔ་པོ་རྒྱང་ནས་ཕོག་པ་དང་། སྒྲ་གྲག་པར་ཕོག་པ་དང་། གནད་དུ་ཕོག་པ་དང་། མི་འཆོར་བར་ཕོག་པ་དང་། ཚབས་ཆེ་བ་ལ་བྱང་བར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །དེ་ནས་བཟང་ལེན་དང་། ལྷར་བཅས་འདི་སྙམ་དུ་སེམས་ཏེ་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་འདི་ནི་སྙིང་རྗེ་ཅན་ཡིན་པས་བསླབ་པར་བྱ་བ་ཐམས་ཅད་བསླབ་ཀྱི་ལྷ་སྦྱིན་འདི་ནི་གདུག་པ་ཡིན་པས་འཇིག་རྟེན་ཐམས་ཅད་དུ་གནོད་པར་འགྱུར་ན་མི་རུང་གིས་འདི་ལ་གནད་དུ་བསྣུན་པར་བསླབ་པར་མི་བྱའོ་སྙམ་མོ། །དེ་ནས་དུས་གཞན་ཞིག་ན་ལྷ་སྦྱིན་གྱིས་ངང་པ་ལྕགས་མདས་བསྣུན་པ་དང་། བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་སྟེང་གི་ཁང་བཟངས་ཀྱི་གཞི་ལ་བཞུགས་པ་དེའི་པང་ པར་དེ་ལྷུང་ངོ་། །དེ་ནས་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔས་བཟུང་ནས་མདའ་ཕྱུང་སྟེ་སྨན་གྱིས་བྱུགས་པས་སོས་སོ། །ལྷ་སྦྱིན་གྱིས་སྨྲས་པ། བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་ངང་པ་འདི་ནི་ངས་ཡོངས་སུ་བཟུང་བ་ཡིན་གྱིས་བསྐུར་ཅིག །བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔས་སྨྲས་པ། ངས་ཆེས་སྔར་ཡོངས་སུ་བཟུང་སྟེ་གང་གི་ཚེ་བླ་ན་མེད་པ་ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་བྱང་ཆུབ་ཏུ་སེམས་བསྐྱེད་པ་དེ་ཁོ་ནའི་ཚེ་ཡོངས་སུ་བཟུང་ངོ་། །དེར་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་ལ་ལྷ་སྦྱིན་གནོད་སེམས་དང་། བཟོད་པ་མ་ཡིན་པ་དང་། ཕེབས་པ་མ་ཡིན་པ་བྱུང་བར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །དེ་ནས་ལྷ་སྦྱིན་ལ་སོགས་པ་ཤཱཀྱའི་གཞོན་ནུ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་བྱུང་བ་དང་། ལྷ་སྦྱིན་གྱིས་རས་ཀྱིས་བཅིངས་ནས་ཤཱཀྱའི་གཞོན་ནུ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་བསྒྱེལ་ཏོ། །ཅི་ཙམ་ན་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་ཕྱོགས་དེར་བཞུད་པ་དང་། ལྷ་སྦྱིན་གྱིས་སྨྲས་པ། བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་ཅི་ལ་སྡོད། བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔས་ཀྱང

Shig. He said, "I don't know." The Bodhisattva said, "Two prominent figures will appear in the world, namely the Bodhisattva and the Wheel-Turning King." Brahma, who dwells in the sky, said, "What Srinbu Gocha Bodhisattva said is true. This letter will manifest if two prominent figures appear in the world, namely the Bodhisattva or the Wheel-Turning King." The Bodhisattva recited the letter in the voice of Brahma, and due to the blessing of Brahma who dwells in the sky, this letter became known as the Letter of Brahma. Then, the Bodhisattva mastered the letters, and together with five hundred attendants, entrusted Zanglen and Lharbachas to the archery teacher, placing them in the place of archery. Then, the Bodhisattva became skilled in shooting the five targets from afar, shooting with sound, hitting the mark, shooting without missing, and in difficult shooting. Then, Zanglen and Lharbachas thought: This Bodhisattva is compassionate and should learn everything that should be learned; but Devadatta is malicious, and it would be bad if he caused harm to the whole world, so he should not be taught to hit the mark. Then, at another time, Devadatta shot a swan with an iron arrow, and the swan fell onto the lap of the Bodhisattva who was sitting on the foundation of the upper palace. Then, the Bodhisattva caught the swan, pulled out the arrow, and applied medicine, and the swan recovered. Devadatta said, "Bodhisattva, this swan is completely captured by me, please return it to me." The Bodhisattva said, "I have already completely captured it, and when I generated the mind of enlightenment in unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, I completely captured it." There, Devadatta developed harmful thoughts, impatience, and displeasure towards the Bodhisattva. Then, Devadatta and five hundred Shakya youths appeared, and Devadatta tied them with cloth and knocked down the five hundred Shakya youths. They tied him with cloth strips and knocked down five hundred Shakya youths. Then Devadatta tied him with cloth strips, and the Bodhisattva also grabbed him, turned his feet upwards, and knocked him down on his back. There, Devadatta developed harmful thoughts, intolerance, and displeasure towards the Bodhisattva. Then, five hundred Shakya youths, holding bows and arrows, came out and began to compete with the palm trees. Some split one palm tree, some split two, and Devadatta split three. The Bodhisattva shot an iron arrow and split seven palm trees, and as the wind blew, it spread widely until they all fell down. Then, the pure gods by the Rohitaka River had a tree called 'Good Heart,' which grew one yojana (about 16 kilometers) during the day, and could be cut with a fingernail at night, but could not be cut with a sword during the day. The pure abode gods conjured up a strong wind and rain, uprooting the Good Heart tree and placing it in the Rohitaka River. King Suddhodana and Suprabuddha heard this and thought, 'Will this tree destroy the city?' They went to the place where the Good Heart tree was with countless beings. Although they were pulled by countless attendants, they could not move it no matter how hard they tried. The astrologer said, 'Invite the Bodhisattva.' The king said, 'I cannot command the young man.' The astrologer said, 'You all make a loud noise and commotion, I will somehow make the Bodhisattva leave.' Then, those people made a loud and great commotion. The astrologer went to the Bodhisattva, and the Bodhisattva said, 'Astrologer, what is this commotion?' The astrologer explained the situation in detail. Then the Bodhisattva said, 'If that is the case, let me move it.' Then the astrologer and the Bodhisattva set off. Soon, a venomous snake came out of a hole. The astrologer was about to seize the Bodhisattva.
