The karma of wrong views, and the cause of properly accepting the Dharma, by that cause and that condition, when the body is destroyed after death, all sentient beings who fall into evil destinies and wrong views will be born in hells. Or, sentient beings are those who possess good conduct with the body, and those who possess good conduct with speech and mind, and those who do not slander the noble ones, and those who have right views, it is the karma of right views, and the cause of properly accepting the Dharma, by that cause and that condition, after the body is destroyed, they will be born among the gods in the happy realm of the heavens, knowing perfectly as it is. The continuum of abiding. Thus, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly enlightened Buddhas, with pure and superhuman divine eyes, see sentient beings dying and transmigrating, and those who are beautiful, and those who are ugly, and those who are inferior and those who are noble, and those who go to happy and unhappy realms, for sentient beings who follow their karma, those sentient beings are those who possess evil conduct with the body, and those who possess evil conduct with speech and mind, and those who slander the noble ones, and those who have wrong views, it is the karma of wrong views, and the cause of properly accepting the Dharma, by that cause and that condition, when the body is destroyed after death, all sentient beings who fall into evil destinies and wrong views will be born in hells. The continuum of abiding, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly enlightened Buddhas, are those who possess the nine powers, proclaiming the supreme position of the group, Brahma.

Furthermore, they turn the excellent wheel of Brahma, and within the wheel, they roar the lion's roar correctly. Furthermore, abiding in lineage, the Tathāgatas, Arhats, perfectly enlightened ones, whose defilements are exhausted, have attained the undefiled liberation of mind and the liberation of wisdom, having realized it themselves with direct knowledge in this very life, they have fully attained it, knowing well that our birth is exhausted, the pure conduct is established, what needed to be done is done, and there is no further existence. Furthermore, abiding in lineage, the Tathāgatas, Arhats, perfectly enlightened ones, possessing the ten powers, boldly vow in the assembly, turn the excellent wheel of Brahma, and roar the lion's roar correctly within the wheel. Those who have passed away, those who have not yet come, and those who appear at this time, all the Buddhas, the Tathāgatas, Arhats, perfectly enlightened ones, are equal and equal, their names are equal, their qualities are similarly equal, and the maturation of the fruits of merit is equal, but the three things, lineage, lifespan, and body size, are not equal. Then, the giants from the city of Kuśināgara requested the Bhagavan thus: "Venerable one, is there another power that is greater than those powers, possessing great power, and able to overcome those powers?" Furthermore, abiding in lineage, there is another power that is greater than those powers, possessing great power, and able to overcome those powers, such as, in the middle watch of that night, adorned with excellent marks, with excellent minor marks, adorning his body.

The power of impermanence, which utterly destroys this perfectly formed body and the life that has become the vessel of those powers, is called the power of impermanence. This continuum of abiding is more powerful than any of those powers, and is the other power that overwhelms any of those powers. Then, at that time, the Blessed One spoke these verses: The power arising from the body and the power of merit, even with the power of wisdom and the power of miraculous abilities, impermanence destroys my splendor, it is considered to be the supreme power. Wherever there is a body like that, like the peak of the king of golden mountains, destroyed by the splendor of impermanence, my destruction will come. The power of impermanence is the supreme power, the wise should fully understand, wherever impermanence does not come, one should attain that state of immortality. Having heard these words from the Blessed One, the giants born in the city of Kusha became bewildered, and as if regaining consciousness, they rolled on the ground, like stumps of wood. Some crossed their arms and wept loudly. Some sat filled with mental anguish. Some relied solely on the nature of reality, thinking: The Blessed One also told us that initially all beloved, lovely, joyful, and pleasing things will experience separation, disappearance, parting, and non-accompaniment. Then, the giants born in the city of Kusha, exhaling long and gentle breaths, sweet and pleasant like the sound of a crane, shedding tears, bowed their heads to the feet of the Blessed One, and sat to one side. Then, the Blessed One, together with the community of monks, sat on one side of that wide, great stone. The giants born in the city of Kusha also sat on the same side of that wide, great stone. Then, the Blessed One treated the giants born in the city of Kusha as if combing them with a comb, and from the city of Kusha
