Okay. Furthermore, O monk, one who knows the ripening of the fruits of karma, he gazes upon the realm of the gods of No Strife. He sees how the realm of the gods of No Strife, called "variously radiant," exists through the wisdom of his own nature born from hearing. In that realm, he also sees how beings are born from which actions, just as they are. Which noble man, having done good deeds, whose actions of body, speech, and mind are greatly engaged in virtue, who is endowed with morality, who is not mixed with others, who is endowed with right view and right livelihood, who conducts himself with utmost purity in all his surroundings, who is upright and possesses the nature of uprightness, whose mind is one of manifest attachment to sentient beings, who has abandoned killing and taking what is not given, and who has also abandoned sexual misconduct, such that even in dreams he does not become manifestly attached upon seeing women. He also does not go along with them. During the day, he does not engage in various discriminations with others, his mind being completely defiled. How can the most supremely pure fruits arise for me if I have thus completely abandoned sexual misconduct in relation to desires? By the cause of my own nature having abandoned this sexual misconduct, I will also become a god, or any other of the gods, and I will be born surrounded by hosts of goddesses, and I will closely enjoy the most excellent of the women of the gods, and not of humans. With the thought of who those goddesses are, he will practice the impure conduct of celibacy. Just as I have no need for that god either, if I have not abandoned sexual misconduct in relation to desires here, how can those who have previously laughed, frolicked, played, and enjoyed themselves together with women, those ones are not the goodness of being born into the right path.

At that time, whenever one had previously enjoyed intimacy with women, one would not savor the experience in one's mind, nor would one constantly dwell on it. Even if desires and attachments arose in the mind, one would strive to restrain them. At that time, one would make an effort not to dwell on the old thoughts of laughter, playfulness, and enjoyment, nor would one contemplate the old women with whom one had previously enjoyed intimacy. One would certainly strive to restrain the arising (desires). That noble person, after their bodies disintegrate and they die, will be reborn in the heavens, in the world of bliss, in the various beautiful and adorned lands of the gods of the Free from Strife. Having been born there, this one (the god) also enjoys the fruits of well-matured virtuous actions, making use of the culmination of well-performed deeds, being fully endowed with the five objects of desire. Just as those gods are born in those places, initially, everything is illuminated with the radiance of jewels, making everything splendidly adorned, those are their heavenly lands. There, the good deeds of that god newly produce these jewels. For example, in the vicinity, there are various kinds of vajras, and on the mountain peaks, there are various kinds of radiant garlands. Just like lapis lazuli, blue, great blue, crystal, musaragalva, padmaraga (ruby), emerald, agate, and so on. Similarly, the light of hundreds and thousands of other kinds of jewels, which are born distinctly due to the differences in the actions of the divine substances, also illuminates that place very much. Initially, the various colors of light appear, causing the eye consciousness to fully enter. For those who have never seen these sights before, their eye consciousness is greatly drawn to them. Immediately following that, the songs of various incomparable divine substances and

They listen to the sounds of drums and musical instruments. Following that, they also apply all sorts of incomparable fragrances of divine substances to their noses. It should be known that those three who were born first are initially completely distracted, and with things never seen before and incomparable, they fully enter the place of heedlessness. Those who have manifested and become gods, because they are endowed with merit, with the peak of well-done deeds, come from all the inner groves of the forest. That forest is called Light, and it makes all the surroundings appear with incomparable varieties of light. Those gods travel all over that forest, running near to where the newly born god is. They hold various ornaments, possess various forms, with various songs, drum sounds, and beautiful musical instrument sounds, singing everywhere, and with incomparable delightful melodious songs, they come near and utter all kinds of sounds. Then, that god also sees those (gods) and, driven by the mind of desire that has been accustomed to since beginningless time, mingles with those gods with a mind of great joy. Those (gods) also move near to where this god is, some rising high into the center of the sky, holding lutes in their hands and singing. Others, on top of houses, with extremely ecstatic eyes, stringing flowers together, smell the incomparable fragrances. Other gods, gathered together on the ground itself, with various musical instruments and flowers in their hands, run to where this god is. Other gods, holding flowers in their hands, run near to where this son of the gods is. Other gods hold intoxicating drinks that are full of various colors, tastes, and fragrances, which are free from the fault of intoxication, and run near to where this god is.
