All that is heard, having heard, the wise person meditates well. Among the aggregates, realms, and elements, why are those two characteristics different? Having heard, one also knows everything. Therefore, excellent wisdom is supreme. Whatever binds all in samsara, those faults with great power, those who hear the excellent Dharma, they can destroy them without remainder. In an instant, they enter completely without remainder, and they also completely turn back without remainder. Those with hearing know well, therefore hearing is unsurpassed. Those beings who are afflicted by feelings at the time of death, how do they focus on what they have heard, and a little arises in their hearts? The fire of hearing burns completely, all the forests of afflictions that are filled, those that arise again, are never an object of focus. Even those who are filled with mindfulness, all happiness arises from happiness. The basis of hearing is happiness and goodness, therefore hearing is supreme. Having listened to the proclamation of the excellent Dharma, the wise who attend and draw near, abandoning old age and death, go to the unsurpassed state. Hearing does not commit sins, hearing causes one to enter the Dharma, hearing liberates from suffering, therefore hearing is the main thing. The purity of body, speech, and mind, is through the hearing of all beings. Therefore, whoever desires to be well purified, should listen respectfully. Having relied well on the boat of hearing, with steadfast diligence, one overcomes the enemies on the other shore. The person will quickly be liberated into great and diverse forms. A person rich in hearing is said to be endowed with all wealth. The Buddha said that one who has wealth of meaning without hearing is utterly poor. The wealth of the excellent Dharma is ruined, and the teacher is also abandoned, living without fruit, and also said to be destroyed by sins. Those who are without mindfulness and lazy, those beings who are friends with evil, living without fruit, like the fruit of the eye that has been plucked out by another. Those who are completely separated from the eye of hearing, are clearly called blind. Whoever abandons the Dharma completely, and dwells following what is not Dharma, they abandon all medicines, and closely rely on suffering itself. Even relying on that, that person also increases the Dharma in many ways. Just as from rains and gatherings, a stream of water is able to enter greatly, so is the Dharma.

The master who enjoys the four conducts, rises on time and maintains balance, will surely have a happy destiny, and will not be deceived by carelessness. Therefore, in the merit of wisdom, the wise rely on wisdom with knowledge. Those who do not know, possess goodness, possess a happy destiny, without arising or ceasing. Thus, that Good Time makes the roots of virtue of those gods enter well into their hearts, and establishes them well. For those things that are beneficial not just once or in one aspect, but many times, it brings them closer; for those that are not beneficial, it separates them. It expounds the Dharma of the scriptures spoken by the Complete Buddha. Then, after those gods heard those Dharmas from him, their minds were satisfied by the well-born reverence, and again, because of the faults of the body attached to carelessness, they wanted to play and went elsewhere. Good Time also expounded the sutra called "Essence of Proclaiming the Holy Dharma," spoken by the Bhagavan Golden Light Buddha, which possesses many merits, and then, because he only thinks of the Dharma in his heart, he abides everywhere. The sutra called "Essence of Proclaiming the Holy Dharma," spoken by the Bhagavan Golden Light Buddha, which possesses thirty merits, is complete. The gods who wander in the land of non-contention, as long as the karma of desirable and pleasing desires that they have done and accumulated has not been exhausted, they will continue to enjoy the pleasure of the five musical instruments and the five desirable qualities of the divine realm. When these are exhausted, they will be reborn in hell, as hungry ghosts, and as animals because of their evil deeds. If someone shares a common destiny with humans, and is born as a human because of the karma to be experienced in other lifetimes, then he will be perfect, possess an extremely happy destiny, be extremely happy, always desire to hear the holy Dharma, be the best of practitioners, have an upright mind, possess right view, and because of the causal relationship of karma, will also become a king or a minister of the king. The place called "Wandering in the Land of Non-Contention" is complete.
