Brahmins also practice equanimity towards all sentient beings. What is it? It is like this: for all sentient beings, all sentient beings will be separated from suffering and pleasant things. It will disappear. It will be scattered. It will be separated. It will arise separately. For all sentient beings belonging to samsara, there is no one who has not been completely separated from suffering, pleasantness, and desires, and no one who will not be separated. Being completely separated from suffering is extremely painful. By practicing in this way, the mind will become very pure, and when the mind is completely pure, the radiance of the face will become bright. When the radiance of his face becomes bright, he will transform into a joyful form. Because of his beautiful form, all people will become very happy. It will also become desirable, painful, and pleasant. These are the visible results of the power of equanimity towards all sentient beings. After the body is destroyed, one will also be reborn as a god in the world of heavenly realms and happy migrations. Through the remnants of karma, one will also be completely liberated from suffering. There are also other methods by which practitioners or Brahmins should cultivate equanimity towards all sentient beings. What are they? It is like this: because the mind is very easy to enter quickly, the mind is not abiding. Therefore, if those practitioners and Brahmins generate a mind with attachment, they should practice ugliness meditation. If a mind with hatred arises, they should practice loving-kindness. If a mind with delusion arises, they should practice dependent origination. By contemplating these three antidotes that are the antidotes to the mind in this way, one will become equal to all sentient beings. He will be separated from friends and enemies, become equal, gentle, and possess very pure wisdom, going without doubt in all directions.

The field is purified, and it is most purified and dwells in bliss. One will sleep peacefully at night and awaken fully during the day in peace. The gods will also manifestly protect these. He will also become powerful. He will also become mighty. He will be so exceedingly pleased that his mind will be exceedingly pure, and his blood will be exceedingly pure. With the blood exceedingly pure, the complexion will be exceedingly pure. With his complexion exceedingly pure, he will become a form that is beautiful to behold. He will be exceedingly beautiful, and he will also become desirable, pleasing, harmonious, and agreeable to all beings. When the fruit of the karma of equanimity towards all sentient beings ripens, after the destruction of the body and death, he will also be reborn in the world of bliss, the heavens, among the gods. By the karma that is completely superior, he will also pass completely beyond sorrow as he desires. Then, at that time, the king of peacocks spoke in verses, saying: How is it that one who has no attachment in his mind towards all friends and non-friends, who knows the Dharma without partiality, is called a sage by the wise? He whose mind is filled with the mud of faults, who is never stained, and who delights in wandering alone, those who are free from attachment are called sages. Without arrogance and with conduct without stain, free from all impurities, who is not robbed by all the afflictions of the objects, is called a sage. The truths such as impermanence are seen as they are, and even the darkness of the world, that which is steadfast is called a sage. One who is never weary of the world by the Dharma, whose wisdom is equal in pleasure and pain, is called a sage without stain. Always with supreme joy, always abandoning desires, living without obstruction and with little, this pure one is called a sage. Whoever associates with them, who does not follow them, who wanders alone and whose wisdom is steadfast, who possesses protective boundaries is called a sage. He who is liberated from fear and old age, who is not destroyed by the force of obstacles, whose mind is perfectly peaceful and free from attachment to taste is called a sage. To sentient beings

What is quiescence? Always equal to the unequal, equal to all, the wise are called the capable. All of good and non-good, knowing the suchness of karma and its fruits, abandoning all good and non-good, this world is called the capable. Diligently striving to destroy all faults, constantly remembering that which belongs to the body, knowing the suchness of feelings and so on, the wise are called the capable. Engaging in actions at the right place and time, speaking reason and subduing the senses, fearing the terrors of samsara, whatever is utterly peaceful is called the capable. Thus, the lord of peacocks teaches the Dharma in various ways to those who are content and those who are free from strife. All of them keep their minds very balanced. Although they obtain the pleasures of objects everywhere, they are satisfied only with the drink of virtuous Dharma. Then, the minds of those gods melt, and they are close to attaining it. Furthermore, the king of peacocks teaches the nature of the science of learning, and in the same way, other Dharma should also be contemplated by virtuous practitioners, Brahmins, or others of such lineage who are well-established in the Great Vehicle. Having done so, they should also practice it universally. What are these? They are contentment. The Dharma of contentment should be cherished above all else, for it also brings happiness. It will also satisfy the body and mind completely. Virtuous practitioners and Brahmins who have friends of contentment and helpers of contentment enjoy the supreme bliss. Everywhere, all those who are content closely enjoy the supreme bliss. They do not cling to the many desirable objects of desire with their eyes. They do not seek meaning, nor do they conceptualize. They do not conceptualize those forms that have become the objects of the eye. They do not think about them with their minds and wish for them. They do not seek meaning outwardly. They do not conceptualize those past forms that have become desirable and pleasing. He does.
