Now, for what, it will not become looking after the karma. Sinful actions are not existent, nor are they possessed. Those from everything to everything will become nonexistent, or exhausted, or decayed. For example, monks or Brahmins who know the ripening of karmic results, or others similar to them, will examine, for example, if I have committed misconduct with my body or misconduct with my speech, if these are done and accustomed to, then it will cause me to have harsh results in the realms of hell, hungry ghosts, and animals. In order to prevent those unwholesome karmic results that have not yet arisen from arising, they will strive, be diligent, and initiate effort. Like that, like that, for the karmic results of the past, monks or Brahmins who possess the power of faith, those karmas that will cause them to experience the suffering of hell, which have been experienced for a long time, the extremely terrifying feelings, will also become short-lived and very weak feelings, or from everything to everything will become nonexistent. Like that, they will continue to practice, strive, and initiate effort, those evil deeds that cause them to be born as hungry ghosts, which have been experienced for a long time, and have the nature of hunger and thirst, those extremely intense ones, will also become inferior. It will become short-lived, or from everything to everything will become nonexistent. Like that, monks or Brahmins, and anyone who is similar to them, who have faith in karma and its results, those who have committed extremely terrifying karmas that will cause them to be born as animals, those who devour each other, which have been experienced for a long time, will also become very small, and will not experience devouring each other, and will be short-lived, or from everything to everything will become nonexistent. Except for those karmic results that have been done and accumulated, and will definitely be experienced individually, and those bodies of hell, hungry ghosts, and animals that will be born into. Furthermore, they also have faith in the karmic results themselves.

Therefore, in this way, one should contemplate the results of karma, which are extremely difficult to understand and exceedingly subtle. For those three kinds of non-virtuous actions that have been committed, one should confess them separately and completely abandon those faults. Among those that must be experienced, one should abandon the experience of the animal realm by cultivating the mind well and purifying it completely. For those who will experience hell, hungry ghosts, and the animal realm, and other times, one should feel remorse in one's heart, and through the power of white antidotes, either not change them at all, or diminish them, or through the karma itself, whether one will experience the most painful animal realm births separately, one should rise from confessing the misdeeds, or through extremely pure virtuous actions, one should destroy those that cause one to experience the animal realm for a long time, thereby causing one to experience short and less painful results, or making them disappear completely. Therefore, one should have faith in karma and its results through these causes and signs. Whether it is a renunciate, a Brahmin, or others similar to them, whoever has faith in karma and its results will wander in the limited cycle of existence on the banks of a river. Why is that? Because in the five realms, there is not even a little bit of birth that is the result of not being generated by virtuous and non-virtuous actions. Therefore, just as that, the essence of beings is said to be those who have faith in karma and its results, because all sentient beings are enjoying the share of the results of all actions. Therefore, whether women or men, all should strive diligently, day and night, to cultivate the power of faith in karma and its results with all their might. Here, for the time being, for the sentient beings in samsara, those as the essence of

It is done. Other dharmas, whether śrāmaṇa or brāhmaṇa, or others of the same nature, should pay attention. What is this? It is being harmed by non-dwelling. The reason for being harmed by non-dwelling is that, whether śrāmaṇa or brāhmaṇa, all those who are of inferior wisdom. The fault of being harmed by non-dwelling causes the mind to be attached. It is this non-dwelling that causes them to wander everywhere, whether in the gardens of the sangha, temples, villages, towns, cities, or other places, they always become lazy. He likes this and that. He does not rejoice in quiet temples and other quiet places. He is not of the nature of walking well, and even if forced to walk on a journey, he is neither a renunciant nor a householder. He becomes similar in all respects. Merely staying in the same place also wastes time. He does not do the meditation for which he became a renunciant, in order to live comfortably, because he is harmed by the fault of being universally present. Once the fault of instability is recognized, donors and patrons become harsh towards śrāmaṇas or brāhmaṇas, or others of similar nature. In order to meet with this, they will not easily come near. For these people, donors and patrons will not become submissive, but will become very powerful. They do not listen to these people's words, nor do they give alms with them as the main focus. Because the mind is very weak and unable to grasp a place to dwell, they always meet and always serve. Because of the fault of being harmed by universal presence, they laugh at those who are harmed by universal presence. Householders also discuss each other, for example, a certain śrāmaṇa or brāhmaṇa, because he is harmed by not being attached to any place, he likes this and that. He does not like quiet temples, always has the nature of seeking, always.
