Will be liberated from those. Thus, by considering sentient beings born as animals, compassion is generated. Simultaneously with the generation of Bodhicitta, the merit of Brahma will increase. Bodhisattva Mahasattva, possessing a mind that is supremely virtuous, having compassion for all sentient beings, thus generates compassion for animals. After generating compassion for the three realms that are the result of extremely evil deeds, which are extremely painful and extremely harsh, one should generate compassion by considering the six desire realm gods who indulge in desire. The gods also enjoy various unparalleled heavenly pleasures in the mountains and medicinal lands, as well as in the forests and nearby forests, and after enjoying hundreds and thousands of pleasures playing with women in lotus ponds and forests, when their karma is exhausted, the suffering of death arises. After that, they will be born in hells, pretas, and animals. Therefore, in this samsara, beings who are extremely limited enjoy themselves, being tightly bound by horizontal bonds, running around in the past and future, but these do not seek the supreme path. Thus, by focusing on the suffering of death for the gods as well, compassion is generated. Similarly, compassion is also for humans, those born as the result of various paths, those who enjoy the fruits of inferior, intermediate, and superior happiness and suffering, those who engage in inferior, intermediate, and superior actions, those who act and wander in various ways, with various thoughts and inclinations, and those who are afflicted by poverty, those who are without refuge, those who are extremely tormented by being oppressed by others, the human world that completely seeks and enjoys extreme suffering, having seen it, compassion is generated.

It is the Dharma that brings joy and leads to the liberation of Nirvana. Therefore, since the five sufferings are closely observed in the sentient beings of the five realms, those virtuous practitioners or Brahmins who are fully established in the Mahayana also generate compassion, and they will attain the perfectly blissful Nirvana. Then, at that time, the Peacock King sang the verses of the destruction of samsara, as follows: Listen! For the Great Vehicle, Whose mind is always well-established, His compassion follows, Like a mother to her child. Whose mind has not experienced, Adorned with compassion, His friends in this world, Will spread everywhere with fame. Compassion is moist and free from faults, Well-controlled senses, And fully endowed with correct view, Nirvana is not far away. Whoever is adorned with compassion, In the human world is a god. Whoever is impoverished by compassion, Is considered extremely poor. Whoever has a gentle mind, Is a good person, like gold. This precious jewel of compassion, If it enters whose mind, Any sentient being who is always diligent, Always devoted to the Dharma, They, with the lamp of compassion, Will illuminate the heart well. Whose river of the sacred Dharma, Flows day and night without ceasing, They, in all circumstances, With compassion, manifest a joyful mind. Cooling with compassion, Happy to benefit all beings, Enjoying unparalleled bliss, Afterwards, they go to Nirvana. Compassion is praised by the Able One, Compassion is the stainless essence, Compassion is the destroyer of faults, Compassion is the inexhaustible treasure. It is also the supreme of the ornaments of virtues, Completely destroying all faults. Because of the moisture of compassion, the Able Ones, Go to the unsurpassed state. Whoever has the steed of compassion, He has the supreme milk. Without being accompanied by anger, It enters the heart well. Riding on the boat of the Great Vehicle, Loving compassion dwells well within, From the powerful waves of the three poisons, Liberating beings from the ocean of samsara. Merit

Then, the lord of great freedom, the adornment that is not wealth, the constant love of the virtuous, is here called compassion. Thus, he teaches the Dharma to those gods. It is virtuous in the beginning, in the middle, and in the end, without contradiction in all times and places, highly praised and auspicious, causing all the gods to increase. Furthermore, what other Dharmas are taught by the Blessed One? What Dharma do the Bodhisattvas Mahasattvas who abide in the Great Vehicle fully correspond to, so that a person can quickly realize the complete and unsurpassed perfect enlightenment and become a Buddha? What are these Dharmas? It is taming. The Dharma of taming, for what reason can it completely eliminate the faults in the middle and uphold the merits? A person with a gentle mind can also attain Nirvana, which completely eliminates all defilements. A person with a gentle mind can also become the only one who does good, and make all beings generate faith. A person with a rough heart is like a vajra and a stone, stubbornly remembering firm hatred in his heart. Whether restrained or not, he will wander outside of all beings and be incompatible with all beings. He will become ugly and disgusting, and whatever he clings to will not disappear from his heart. He will not become happy, nor will he walk in the garden of joy with meditation. He will not associate with virtuous people. He will not gladly accept the Dharma and the Vinaya, just like seeds of a different kind, and just as oil cannot be extracted from sand. Thus, for a person with malice and a rough heart, the Dharma will not arise. Just as milk cannot be obtained from a cow, heat cannot be obtained from a warm moon, a son cannot be obtained from a widow, and flowers cannot be obtained from the sky. Similarly, for those who are malicious, violent in behavior, extremely cunning, belonging to the cunning, of low intelligence, self-laboring, and deceiving others, the cycle of existence...
