will also be reproached and despised. If they are guided, they will also generate Bodhicitta for the sake of not being reborn, and will also practice virtue. This is the first Dharma of gods and humans that destroys negligence, eliminates negligence, and destroys negligence. Therefore, those noble beings who seek the truth, and those who fear the fears of Samsara, should learn in this way: even if the most subtle of unwholesome thoughts arise in the mind, they should feel regret. Here, one should be mindful, and should not be negligent even for a moment. Therefore, the sole root of unwholesome Dharmas is this: experiencing the taste and clinging to the mind, this is the first Dharma. There are also other Dharmas that cause all virtues to increase, such as the fear of bad migrations. The so-called fear of bad migrations is the Dharma of the Great Vehicle, and here, all the gods and humans who fear bad migrations also eliminate negligence and destroy negligence. Therefore, monks or others who are similar to them, fearing what is born from the wrong path, will not commit unwholesome deeds. When others commit them, they will not rejoice in them either. Because they know that these unwholesome actions will cause beings to be reborn in hell, hungry ghosts, and animals as they are, I should not do unwholesome Dharmas, because the fruit of sin will also cause me to fall into the wrong path. Even a small unwholesome deed, if cultivated and meditated upon, and repeated many times, will cause beings to be reborn in hell, hungry ghosts, and animals. Therefore, ascetics, Brahmins, and others of the same kind should learn in this way: the fear of bad migrations should always make them fear unwholesome Dharmas. Because when the fruits of all unwholesome actions ripen, they will be in hell, hungry ghosts, and animals.

Therefore, those who indulge in negligence, those deities of inferior intellect, should fear the evil realms in this way. Because of fearing the evil realms, one should not always be close to negligence. One should not do the three kinds of non-virtuous actions of body, speech, and mind. Like a single day, one should always do good and also abandon non-virtue. Thus, those who fear the evil realms are completely terrified. Just as some people see the truth of their own strength and the strength of others, they avoid poison, wild animals, fire, weapons, cliffs, and those things that obstruct life. Similarly, because of fearing the wrong path, one avoids those dharmas that will arise. One always completely abandons, and does not do even the smallest part of non-virtuous actions. One does not rely on negligence either. From having completely abandoned, one also enjoys the pleasures in the realms of gods and humans, and having sought the city of nirvana, one will certainly go to nirvana. One obtains the supreme bliss that is stainless, unmoving, and without outflows. Therefore, one should always fear the evil realms. If one does so, whether one is a renunciate, a brahmin, or someone similar to them, one will attain the supreme state. On this, it is also expressed in verses: The wise person fears the wrong path, And abandons the power of negligence. Practicing virtue and seeking qualities, One will realize nirvana. Whoever fears the wrong path, His mind dwells in peace. With a mind dwelling in equanimity, From bliss one obtains bliss. Whoever does not fear the evil realms, He will commit many sins. He is burned by the fire of sin, And will eventually fall into hell. Even a very small spark of fire, Can burn everything. Similarly, even a small sin, The unwise will go to hell. Therefore, those who desire happiness, Should fear the evil realms. He

And also protect all people. Happiness does not arise from sin. Thus, other such dharmas should be practiced. Whether gods and humans, or ascetics and Brahmins, or those and other similar ones, should also practice these other dharmas. Those beings who have become frightened, even the small sins born from their minds, should be confessed at that very moment. Do not rejoice, and do not do it later. Do not even think about it, for its result is the suffering of hell, hungry ghosts, and animals, having considered and understood it. Thus, the three fears of the lower realms, if divided into ten, are the ten non-virtues. One abstains and is not the doer. One does not rejoice. One does not associate with those who do it. He is a noble being who has completely abandoned all sins, who practices virtue, who practices purely, who is without defilement, who has abandoned carelessness. Having individually abandoned all non-virtuous deeds in the exchange of existence created by sins, he is completely liberated from all faults. Those who are completely liberated from all faults, and those who are liberated from all afflictions, and the sharp ones who abide in peace, will cross the river of existence. Therefore, one should train like this: one should always understand the fears of the lower realms. These other dharmas, which are desire, suffering, and pleasure, also lead all sentient beings to the ultimate end of Nirvana. Furthermore, for the benefit and happiness of gods and humans, the Bhagavan himself taught the Dharma to vigorously destroy carelessness and to attain Nirvana. Whatever I heard when I became a human, I will remember and recollect those teachings and declare them to the gods. What is this? It is patience. The dharmas called patience are supremely virtuous, extremely blissful, excellent, and praised by the Buddha. That patience is also of two kinds: the white dharma of meditators who go on the path of the equality of dharmas.
