It is not that one does not obtain. If there is no realization and worldly (achievement), then there is no way to illuminate all worldly paths, no way to realize them one by one, and one cannot be competent (in anything). Because the rough and scattered person is negligent, one should know that roughness and scattering are flawed. Because roughness and scattering waste all meaningful things and are not beneficial in this life or the next, they are the worst. Therefore, monks or others of the same kind should also completely destroy it. If someone completely abandons it, then whatever good Dharma there is will become stable. The stable person, whether a monk or another of the same kind, will be revered by all people. Through stable discipline, stable wisdom, stable intelligence, restraining the mind, and practicing wholeheartedly, one can completely destroy the realm of Mara. The good Dharma that can reach the city of Nirvana will be perfected. For worldly things, the stable person will also be praised by the wise. He can also accomplish those worldly things. In any case, all people will highly respect him and praise him. Just hearing his name will bring happiness in any situation. Whatever one does will be successful. Therefore, those who are steadfast in mind, restrain their minds, and have stable wisdom are praised even in the world. Therefore, whether a person or a monk, one should abandon roughness and scattering and possess stable wisdom, courage, and knowledge. Furthermore, Musulun himself and those speaking geese, as well as the goose king Time Good, and the negligence and madness of the demon race, this sutra that the Bhagavan Kashyapa Buddha obtained from the former gods, is taught for the sake of benefit, like this: For those miserable, other defiled dharmas, the wise...

All forms of poverty that have been abandoned should be thoroughly destroyed. What is this? It refers to poverty. The state of "becoming poor" is also of two kinds: Poverty of wisdom and poverty of discipline. There are also two kinds: poverty of generosity and poverty of intelligence. There are also two kinds: poverty of lineage and poverty of views. There are also two kinds: poverty due to lack of diligence in vows and poverty of lacking a guru. There is also poverty of being abandoned by relatives, friends, and one's own people. Therefore, all these forms of poverty are extremely repulsive. Whether it be a son of good family, a daughter of good family, or a close attendant of a son of good family, all of them should be abandoned without exception. What can thoroughly destroy all these? It is generosity. Generosity alone can destroy all forms of poverty. For example, all lamps can thoroughly dispel all darkness. All wisdom can completely destroy all ignorance. All views can be closely destroyed by the correct view. Therefore, with the Dharma that is supremely beautiful, supremely vast, embraced by all wise beings, that abandons all bad destinies, that excellently ferries us from this world to the other shore, this supreme Dharma destroys them. What destroys them? It is generosity. Generosity also has many forms. For example, the generosity of knowledge, the generosity of discipline, the generosity of Dharma, the generosity of inspiring wisdom, the generosity of showing the near path, the generosity of a bathing pond that washes away afflictions with the path, the generosity of action, the generosity of life, the generosity of material possessions, the generosity of fearlessness, the generosity of truth, the generosity of cutting off doubt, the generosity of being without afflictions towards the five kinds of generosity, the generosity of complete giving, the generosity of complete perfection, the generosity of medicine for the sick, and the generosity of the eye. Such forms of generosity can excellently

The one who liberates is always like a mother and father to all benefactors. Moreover, having given with minds and with mind well cultivated, all poverty is vanquished, and all bad destinies are cut off. Having closely enjoyed the happiness of gods and humans, ultimately, nirvana will be attained. That man should always do such deeds. Therefore, this dharma called poverty should be utterly vanquished by those who are extremely virtuous and greatly loved by wise people. That is, by the perfection of giving, mind, things, and fields. Furthermore, the extreme of all dharmas and all samsara's bonds is like the darkness of all dharmas. What is this? It is ignorance. Among them, as long as it is the darkness of ignorance, there are many kinds of ignorance. The bond of all samsara, becoming a collection of all darkness, becoming the dust of attachment to darkness. And all ignorance that is extremely binding, like weapons, poison, and fire, is all the same as ignorance, all arising from ignorance. Wandering in all places such as hells, pretas, and animals. By this bond alone, these sentient beings are bound and revolve in the abyss. How will these enemy defilements be utterly destroyed? That is, like a lamp, becoming a refuge, a protector, a guide. Also like a mother and father to all sentient beings, like a doctor and medicine, becoming uncontaminated wisdom, it will be utterly destroyed by the wisdom that cuts off all bonds. Those who have completely abandoned ignorance will not arise again, just as trees that have been uprooted will not grow again. Just as trees burned by fire will not grow well again. Just as those who have gone into the water of a river will not return.
