Due to the nature of the evil deeds committed by the beings in the vast realm of hell, even the ocean is shrouded in darkness. Neither the ocean nor any place can be clearly discerned. Furthermore, the practitioner of yoga dwells observing the body with the external body. In this auspicious place, whether it be a city, trees, rivers, or mountains, whether it be the ocean, the realm of gods, the realm of animals, or the realm of pretas, whether it be above, below, in any direction, or in any corner, there are no sentient beings who have not been born, have not died, have not experienced death and transmigration, or have not been born, or all harmonious and pleasant things that have not disappeared, have not separated, have not been deceived, or are impermanent, unstable, of a completely changing nature, separate, and mutually separate. Not even one opportunity is seen. For those harmonious and pleasant things, there is nothing that has not disappeared and separated, or become different, separated, completely separated. In the five realms of existence, not even a fingernail's worth of space can be found. In any part of the earth, there is no sight of sentient beings who have not been born, died, experienced death and transmigration, or have not been born. Therefore, quickly generate detachment from all compounded things! For these places are deceptive, filled with agitation, immediate harm, and much sorrow and discomfort.

Those deceptive things deceive each individual child, and from beginningless time, attachment, hatred, and ignorance have become the foundation. Do not become discouraged, do not become distracted, do not be led by those objects that will eventually separate, do not play with the children. Thus, the yogi dwells, following the body in the body as it is, because of the destruction of his own body by the external body. Among the forty places, is there any sentient being who is not protected by karma, not closely connected with karma, and not enjoying the fruits of karma? Whether it is good or bad, as one has done, one becomes the owner of its fruits. Then, who is the person who does not enjoy the fruits of karma, is not the place of birth of karma, and should not rely on karma? Not a single one has been seen. Whether it is good or bad, as one has done, one becomes the owner of its fruits. Constantly observing karma as one's own, one dwells, following the body in the body as it is. In the west of Jambudvipa, what are the types of mountains, or the types of rivers, or the types of continents, or the types of regions? He sees with the wisdom born of hearing, or with the divine eye, completely filled with Puga, many Pata trees, covered with Khadjura, the flowers of Ketaka are beautiful nearby, many Nadikera, filled with Tamala trees, and most of the extremely cool rivers.

The yogi sees the terrifying great ocean. To the west of that ocean, there is an island of one hundred yojanas called Lako. There are various kinds of birds there, and forests near the forests, which are very delightful. In that island, the Vidyadharas are all very happy, and the Vidyadhara named Baritabhadanang lives there. The second place called the shape of a bun is a very delightful and joyful place. On the island of Kalake, there are many palaces, houses, and rivers. On the other side of that island, there is a place called Siddhi and the sea mixing. Between Siddhi and the sea, there is a mountain called Sukana, located in the water. Prana is born there. By gathering coral trees, merchants will become rich. Furthermore, the yogi observes the body with the external body and abides. When he fully enters the western ocean, if he asks what the names of the mountain, island, and Rakshasi are, he sees through the wisdom arising from hearing or the divine eye. The ocean and the mountain are also five thousand yojanas, and everywhere is filled with conches, crocodiles, fish, and large fish. All places are disturbed by the wind. By the power of that wind, the fish will also move up and down. After passing beyond that ocean, what the yogi sees is an island that is delightful all around, and everywhere is filled with lions.
