Among those who dwell there are also a few unkind ones called Kīkīśā, Mlecchas, and those who wear ear ornaments. Others who dwell there are those who wear leaves; they eat the flesh of elephants in the ocean water. Because they are accustomed to eating all kinds of food, they also eat human flesh. Furthermore, the yogi abides observing the body with the outward body. In the ocean that is far beyond Jambudvipa, what other kinds of mountains or continents are there? Through the wisdom that arises from hearing, or through divine sight, there is a mountain called "Endowed with Jewels" in the ocean, a thousand yojanas in height, adorned with various kinds of jewels, such as: Indranila (इन्द्रनील, indranīla, sapphire), great nila (नील, nīla, blue), vajra (वज्र, vajra, diamond), vaidurya (वैडूर्य, vaiḍūrya, cat's eye), Musaragalva, Arka, Paga, Sukumari, and so on, which make that mountain very beautiful. In the age of the Good Aeon, merchants who are led by karma are driven by the ocean winds and enter there. In the ocean far beyond that mountain, there are tens of thousands of great fish, crocodiles that kill children, and Rakshasa women called "Shadow Peak." Having crossed that ocean, there is a continent called "Golden Wall," whose entire ground is covered with gold, and fierce Rakshasas of great asceticism dwell there, which is a very frightening sight. Having passed far beyond that place, across the ocean two thousand yojanas away, there is a mountain called "Riko," which has three peaks, seven yojanas in height, and three hundred yojanas in width, adorned with seven jewels, namely: Indranila (इन्द्रनील, indranīla, sapphire), vajra (वज्र, vajra, diamond), vaidurya (वैडूर्य, vaiḍūrya, cat's eye), Paga, Sukumari, great nila (नील, nīla, blue), and Musara, which make it very beautiful. Furthermore, the yogi abides observing the body with the outward body. Having passed beyond that mountain, are there other kinds of mountains or oceans?

Now, this is seen through the wisdom born of hearing, or through the divine eye. The great ocean called "Black Water" extends for ten thousand yojanas. There, the Asuras play together with the daughters of the Nagas. The Nagas in this ocean are also terrifying to behold. There, a Rakshasi named "Appearing at the Peak of Shadow" seizes those Asuras who are weak in strength and throws them into the ocean. In that great Black Water ocean, the waters are filled with mountains, resembling great black clouds. It is filled with great whales, all of which are seen, and the practitioner observes the external world as it truly is. The practitioner, having completely transcended that Black Water, observes whether there are any mountains or oceans beyond these. Through the wisdom born of hearing, or through the divine eye, there are oceans called "Completely Filled with Jewels" and "Red." In those oceans, there are trees taller than the trees of this Jambudvipa, reaching a height of ninety yojanas. There dwells the king of birds with a vajra beak, named "Blue Sky." If the trees are shorter than that, then at a hundred yojanas, there is an ocean called "Blue Water." There, there is a Rakshasi named Mandeha, whose voice carries far. She wanders on the best of mountains in the water. She wanders among those places in the ocean where there are mountains. Having transcended those, the practitioner observes whether there are other types of mountains or rivers in the ocean. Through the wisdom born of hearing, or through the divine eye, there is an ocean called "Extremely Clear Water," which extends for five hundred yojanas. In that ocean, there is a mountain called "Garland of Light Rays," which is a hundred yojanas high and three hundred yojanas wide. This mountain is made of silver.
