Also, do not judge, and when dwellings that do not subdue the mind, and medicines for the causes of diseases, and very many implements are manifestly seen, do not reproach others, nor praise oneself. Do not praise the precepts that one has undertaken, and when hearing that the precepts of others are not virtuous, do not separately inform the donors and patrons. Separated from friends and non-friends, one becomes equal in wisdom. Because his mind is inclined towards the Three Jewels, he does not violate the precepts, nor does he slander those who possess precepts. To attendants, he does not always show everything, but rather embraces them with compassion. He is not of a nature to be inquisitive, but rather manifestly delights in monasteries, mountains, and caves. Approaching with all harmony is together with those who practice pure conduct. A person endowed with such extremely rare qualities does not cause others to suffer. Therefore, one who does not cause others to suffer is cherished by gods and humans. Furthermore, the seventh cherished dharma, which separates gods and humans, is as follows: because of hypocrisy, one conceals extremely, virtuous deeds destroy sinful deeds, the mind is extremely pure, one is content with a begging bowl and monastic robes, one eats by begging, one relies on mountains and mountain caves, one is content, one delights in dwelling in solitude, one has no high or low thoughts regarding praise and blame, one travels without dependence on meaningful and meaningless things, thereby traveling well. People also do not approach even a puddle of water that has become a dwelling place for insects, because they are afraid, because they fear the fault of killing insects. One does not look at rainbows and rainbow streamers and lightning. One also does not show earthquakes and lunar eclipses. Nor does one live alone, going from house to house, for the sake of gain and respect. It is not the nature of bowing the head to cause the ground to shake. Very

One does not speak of inferiority or superiority. One does not possess polished shoes, a good wooden plank mat, or a round pillow filled with cotton. Even if one finds superiors equal in discipline and merit, one does not closely rely on them. One does not live by relying on others; instead, one goes to villages, cities, and markets, and does not proclaim one's own discipline and merit as the essence through the means of gain and respect. One does not allow the mind to be distracted by various things. One is not greedy or attached. One does not rejoice in dwelling near villages. Meeting and seeing former relatives, friends, and close companions, and entering their homes, do not cause excessive thoughts in the mind. One does not speak of non-existent qualities, nor does one speak of existing qualities. One does not abandon existing qualities. After showing qualities and faults as they truly are, one does not give the flesh of one's back (i.e., betray). Like seeing poison, one completely abandons all kinds of feminine behavior. One is not of a nature to dwell by conversing with them. One is not of a nature to wander in groves, forests, and places where flowers are in full bloom. One does not approach seeking what pleases oneself. Because of the fear of the fault of attachment to hearing the sounds of birds that cause joy, one does not wholeheartedly devote one's mind, ears, and thoughts to them. Because of the fear of the faults inherent in those sounds, one does not listen to the sounds of birds or other sounds. One does not meditate in places filled with the sound of rivers. The mind is not stolen by the faults of sound. One does not closely contemplate or approach many fragrant flowers, vines, and trees, because the mind is carried away by the faults of the pleasant and extremely delightful fragrances, causing the nose to turn.

Because the trees have become very beautiful, the birds of various colors are indulging in intense desire, so the wild ducks, partridges, and peacocks no longer wander around to watch. Because those charming animal abodes, women, Nadikera fruits, jackfruits, fruits of aquatic plants, mangoes, auspicious fruits, Bitanga fruits, Barushaka fruits, and date palm forests also cannot make them meditate, because they disturb the mind. Similarly, for those peaceful nearby forests that are far from sense objects, they do not crave, but focus their minds on the garden of joy, where they can roam in undisturbed happiness. Therefore, they always initiate diligence, like adversaries, and fight together. They will do their best, even a small defect will become an obstacle. Those coarse people will also not accept the brooms on the land that has not been plowed by plows for the purpose of showing gestures. Their faces will not remain comfortable, like rulers, etc. This monk who walks with a pure alms bowl also does not accept food and drink. They also do not think about things like silver and gold in their minds. They will only hold the delightful alms bowl. They will not hold exchangeable Dharma robes. Because there is no sound disturbance, they will not even follow one step. Unless it is to avoid the danger of the death of living beings, they will not go anywhere to pretend. They do not eat unshelled gourds, rice, rotten Badara fruits, Sinjita fruits, Barushaka fruits, dates, Kadapa fruits, King's rice, and Mons beans, because worms live inside these things. They do not have a comb for combing hair. They do not discard the worms that are born from sweat and grow from their own bodies. Even because of the fear of damaging the Dharma robes, they will only walk one step and sit on one mat.
