Moreover, for those who have transcended worldly concerns, those who are weak in diligence and lack interest will completely lose all that is needed. Worldly people will also become objects of contempt. They themselves will not be happy either. People who are defeated by laziness will fall into evil destinies after their bodies are destroyed and will be born in hell. Therefore, in all circumstances, one should completely abandon all laziness, just as one avoids poison, fire, weapons, and cliffs. All people, in all circumstances, those who are defeated by idleness and are weak in diligence, their glory will be like that of livestock. They will also be unable to distinguish between knowledge and consciousness, Dharma and non-Dharma, what should be done and what should not be done. Why? Because for those who should study, due to the fault of laziness, those who are weary of the scriptures will not be able to distinguish all Dharmas. The same is true for things that are meaningful and meaningless. Therefore, wisdom like a lamp can thoroughly understand everything. But this wisdom does not exist for those who are weak in diligence and lazy. Like the blind, after the body is destroyed, they will fall into evil destinies and be born among hell beings. Similarly, for all worldly affairs, everything will fail. Because everything fails, they will suffer extremely. Relying on other people's families, craving other people's bodies, being particularly concerned with understanding other people's happiness, wearing extremely ragged clothes, hair covering the eyes, mouth and eyes dry, from one crossroads to another, from one intersection to another, living by begging from one house to another, extremely emaciated, even when alive, they will make everyone feel disgusted. For these reasons, everyone should completely abandon laziness in all circumstances. Otherwise, those who initiate diligence, possess diligence, and renounce, will have all benefits.

Everything will be perfect. If one can reach the ultimate state of Nirvana, then what need is there to mention other worldly beings, and that even after the body is destroyed, one can be born in the heavenly realms of bliss, becoming a deva? Therefore, whether gods or humans, one should completely abandon laziness at all times and places. Then, at that time, the Bhagavan, the protector of all, spoke in verses, saying: How is it? The mind is the nature of laziness, arrogance and harshness, and because wisdom is completely abandoned, the place of falling into error is not seen. One should associate with virtuous people and abandon those who are not virtuous. It is said that the cause of cutting off life should be thoroughly explained, which is wrong view. Not being good at arranging places and times, not knowing what to say and what not to say. Those things that are in vain, and also lazy women, whatever foods are in harmony with them, give them to them. Those things that weaken, as well as self-indulgence, and also shaking steadfastness, losing memory, also contradict the landowner. Those who die untimely, as well as the mind of anger, do not understand the results of actions, put Dharma and non-Dharma aside, and are abandoned by good people. Always tired from walking, the lazy mind likes sleep, and also craves flavors. After completely abandoning it, for anything, it is said to be very disgusted with the place of birth. Great greed and manifest pride, those who like to dig up secrets and abandon Dharma, are very dependent on desire, and completely cause harm to the body. The root of these three faults is said to be laziness. People's faults are connected with consequences, and can be destroyed by diligent effort. No matter how diligent effort is initiated, all fruits can be enjoyed. Initiating such reasoning, just like Dharma, one can see the fruit. For these three actions, it is thought that there are three kinds of results. The three realms and certainty are also, with the three realms as the root, they follow accordingly. Thus, on the stupa of the Bhagavan, the protector of all, the form of writing the verses condemning laziness is clearly visible, because the existence itself is well manifested, it must be received with one mind.
