However, they will not decline either, just as when other gods' merit is exhausted, they will fall from their chariots and also sink into the water. They will also not travel in all forms. That place is not in the three realms. Thus, the places of decline of the six gods, when good deeds are exhausted, will surely fall. The gods who have declined, being oppressed by the heavenly realms, those gods who practice morality, when they are exhausted, will surely fall, and they are seen questioning. Thus, when the assembly travels, the gods who practice, those born in the place of non-contention, the lord of non-contention, Musulinda, with the shining words on the plaque adorned on the stupa of the World-Honored One's destruction of the aeon, teaches the gods, saying: All desires are the fire of hell, the experience of ripening is rough, so quickly, quickly, completely abandon negligence. That which destroys all (afflictions), benefits gods and humans, and becomes the ultimate auspiciousness is the Dharma. Also, listen to the Dharma of other Tathagatas, and therefore, the fields alone, the Dharma will increase and also become peaceful. Then, that lord of the gods said again, "As I have seen." Then, those gods said, "We all shall go." All those gods, with Musulinda at their head, approached the place where the Tathagata's stupa was located, as before. Having approached, with devotion, they bowed their heads in all directions, prostrated, and with minds completely filled with devotion, prostrated to it and stood up. "Look at this stupa that saves all, the various jewels are very radiant." These words are as before. Then, on the walls of that stupa, there were various burning jewels, on which were written various supreme letters, all of which became supremely auspicious, for gods and humans.
