Burned by the fire of separation from various things, they are inevitably led away by the Lord of Death in extreme suffering. When the merits of the five desires arise universally, various thoughts intensely play, revel, swagger, indulge in forests and gardens with unrestrained abandon, the pleasures of a poisonous friend, at that time, pierce them like enemies. Their fruit is later burned by the fire of regret, (thinking) what have I done? I have not cultivated with wisdom, generosity, asceticism, and discipline, and because of negligence, I have remained in negligence, and have not cultivated the supreme. My own family and friends abandon me alone, greatly rejoicing, and I will be separated from those many joyful places of our heavenly realm, they grieve in this way continuously. Afterwards, as long as this powerful Lord of Death has not completely destroyed all the gods, and as long as that time has not yet come, one must certainly recognize diseases and many declines, and in any case, one must destroy negligence, thus, those who abandon negligence will become the greatest happiness. Afterwards, at the time of death, one will not be burned by the fire of suffering, and when all declines arise, these paths are extremely beautiful. For example, generosity, discipline, and wisdom, should also be relied upon, practiced, and repeatedly familiarized with, and at that time they will become a refuge. As long as this one who does not deceive, cannot be endured, and is helpless, is the Lord of Death who takes the life of all beings, why do the gods not strive to prevent him? Those who are seized by unwholesome actions, like cliffs, great poisons, and flames, are also those who are negligent. Then, other gods, those gods who go under the power of negligence, are especially focused by the enemy of negligence on looking at very beautiful women, in the forest and...

Those who delight in frolicking on hillsides and lakes, and who roam freely on mountaintops, give rise to the thought that all things are impermanent, thinking: How shall I forever rejoice together with these goddesses? These youthful years will also last forever, and we shall never be separated. Like that, those who are deeply immersed in the pleasures of the senses, who are always utterly destroyed, the lord of death, who possesses unimpeded movement and is irreversible, will come together, and at that time the goddesses will not be able to protect them. Those who always go together without fully considering these things with their minds, at that time, all that will be enjoyed is accumulation and squandering, and is without essence. They are destroyed by carelessness and will be born in hells, pretas, and animals. Furthermore, the gods who are destroyed by ignorance, although they have been utterly destroyed not just once by the suffering of death, transmigration, and birth that have been occurring since beginningless time, they still will not become free from desire because they lack wisdom. Then, the lord of the gods, Musulinda, spoke these words that were truly in accordance with the meaning of the Dharma to the gods, and those gods who were without faults in their own minds, because they focused on the taste of the nectar of the words, a mind that was free from attachment arose, and they requested the king of the gods in this way: Whatever benefit, is just like that, whatever possesses three qualities, that very word, is spoken by the god who performs benefit. Whoever holds the lord of peace, will obtain supreme bliss, more blissful than bliss, will certainly and always be accomplished. Whoever is the opposite of that, the gods who are destroyed by carelessness, are of the nature of ignorance, will be born in hell. Thus, that god spoke to the other gods, and then the other gods, with a mind of universal weariness, said this to the king of the gods: O king of the gods, in every way we are completely in doubt, what fault did those gods who entered the room commit? Thus, with universal weariness,

The mind clearly sees, and abiding in mindfulness is also fully seen by the mind. Having abandoned being controlled by it because of understanding in this way, again let those gods manifest well to each other. Then, they clearly saw each other, and together with all the retinue who acted in accordance, they became extremely joyful and happy. Then, only to those gods whose minds were extremely joyful, Musulinda further said: How do the gods not see each other? It is because of the power of which of my magical abilities is it covered? Also, when the Lord of Death, Yama, who has great power, is extremely terrifying, and extremely destructive, comes and is born in hell, hungry ghosts, and animals, no beings will see each other even for hundreds of millions of kalpas. Therefore, you should understand these things, and do not let yourselves abide in carelessness. Do not let your minds be anxious and worried. Abide in mindfulness. Do not let your minds be completely immersed in sensual pleasures, and practice with such wisdom. After speaking thus, many gods attained the stream-entry fruit because of extreme aversion in their minds. Afterwards, Musulinda, having known this, thought with an extremely joyful mind: What should be done has been done, what was thought in the heart is completely fulfilled, and again he goes well towards the forest of play. In which the gods called "wandering everywhere" constantly dwell, they abide extremely carelessly. Those who have extremely virtuous thoughts, the stream-enterers, also dwell there. Also, those who have become light-minded in every way, who are extremely attached to carelessness because of carelessness, who are intoxicated by carelessness, likewise, in the forest, nearby forests, lakes, gardens, and groves, they enjoy happiness with their companions. Until the fear of the Lord of Death is not satisfied, they continue to enjoy happiness and play. From lotus pond to lotus pond, from mountaintop to mountaintop, they happily play, and because of greed they are in agreement with each other, until they have satisfied their disgusting desires.
