Having drunk the special essence of the earth, they dwell even more indulgently, making them happy. Together with a grand procession, all the deities surrounded by a vast assembly, with minds attached to the five senses, possessing the sound of five musical instruments, with equal, pleasant, and intoxicating sounds perfectly harmonized, and with splendid ornaments, attire, and exceedingly beautiful things as attendants, indulging in whatever they desire, those deities on the golden terraces, satiated by various sounds, touches, tastes, shapes, and smells, wander in many ways, and when they see the exceedingly delightful river, never satisfied with the realm of forms, they also enjoy it to their heart's content. Furthermore, with the sound of songs accompanied by dance stealing the senses of the ears, the mind, infatuated with the five senses, becomes joyful, and they are happy from mountain to valley, from peak to peak, from riverbank to riverbank, from lotus pond to lotus pond, from forest to forest, from terrace to terrace, from tree to tree, intoxicated by the satiation of various pleasures, and as they wander, at another time, they wander and go near the river called "Vaiḍūrya Water" with great joy and satiation. That river also has these beauties, such as: the river transformed into the nature of Vaiḍūrya is pure water. The stones are of the nature of Vaiḍūrya. Well-filled with trees of the nature of Vaiḍūrya. In the trees of the same color as the nature of Vaiḍūrya, filled with the sounds of birds. The fruits appear exceedingly lush. Pure and immaculate water flows pleasantly. The river called "Vaiḍūrya Water," with deep and melodious sounds, dominated by exquisite craftsmanship, flows abundantly. Thus, those deities proceed for the sake of wandering joyfully. Due to attachment to sense objects, they are exceedingly attached in various ways, and those deities wander about. Some are happy on the riverbanks. Some are together enjoying themselves in the water.

Some, supremely haughty, ride visibly on the backs of other birds, going from wave to wave. In the water, they circle round and round, from outer circle to outer circle, from uneven water to uneven water, from lotus seat to lotus seat, disporting themselves fully in the groves of উৎপল (utpala, blue lotus). To those gods, by the hundreds and thousands, possessed of matchless bliss and purity, if indeed by well-performed deeds, and the lands also being peaceful, then in the stainless lapis lazuli is seen, those who have become superior by morality and wisdom, will see therein the symbolic image of the fruit of karma. They will understand what is the cause thereof, what is the beginning thereof, and what is inseparable from it, and by what condition will they be born in that divine realm. All these, together with manifest knowledge, together with focus, and together with the beginning of the arising of mind, and those who have become utterly devoted to the field, having clearly seen these, and having made them the object, a mind arises that is made subject to the power of remembering other lives. Alas, how greatly I have been carried away by the river of craving, which has the force of the fluctuating waves of water due to the power of the land, and the power of which causes sorrow to arise. I have not understood what causes me to fall into error. How shall I truly understand all this as it is? By finding those histories that are clearly written in various ways, related to the time of manifestation, I shall be able to find the eras of other lives. I shall also enjoy these good deeds. However, when they are exhausted, I shall again fall in various ways, falling from that divine realm. Thus, they speak to each other, and also see the fear of the five destinies. Since everything arises in dependence on its respective causes, on that very bank of the lapis lazuli river, they speak in verses, saying: Whatever arises from good deeds in the past, is complete and endowed with excellence. This heavenly realm is a place of enjoyment, yet it is repeatedly exhausted. O heavenly realm!
