Therefore, they also greatly praised Musulinda, possessing the sound of five musical instruments, perfectly complete, and engaged in various plays for a long time. They played in this way and felt happy. Furthermore, after a long time had passed, that light spread everywhere, just like before. Then, the gods were born, which was an extremely marvelous and true birth. Some, with minds filled with great fear, embraced the lord of the gods, because extreme fear had penetrated their hearts. Others looked towards the center of the sky, giving rise to great interest in that center. Still others, having heard the reason for the falling light, those gods like Musulinda who knew the falling event for certain, being free from negligence, at that time, with reverence, prostrated to the Buddha. Still others, with weakened minds and destroyed firm abodes, hid in the doorways of caves and among the trees. Still others ran again to where the lord of non-conflict was, seeking refuge, for the purpose of seeking refuge. Having thus directly witnessed the extremely marvelous and rare wise one, they prayed to all the Musulinda: "May the gods truly know what the light is that falls from the sky." "May the gods understand well, what is that falling light like that?" Then, those gods who did not know the reason spoke to the lord of the gods, saying: "As we do not know, lord of the gods, what are those marvelous things? Although we have seen these, we do not understand, what is this like?" Then, in the assembly of all the assembled gods, the lord of non-conflict spoke, saying: "Listen, all of you, only because of me, those that fall from the sky, that extremely blazing light that transcends vision, exists more supremely, causing you all to be afraid and generating miracles. Those peaceful ones, the Lord of Non-Contention, spoke thus to them all: Listen, whatever falls, in all aspects, whether it be measure, color, shape, length of life, and each of their actions, each exceeds by a hundredfold. The race of gods dwelling above us is the palace of the Bodhisattvas, possessing the five supremely pure precepts, without deficiency, without breakage, without leakage, steadfast, possessing essence, and in many ways. Those who are transformed into humans, after their bodies are destroyed, will be born into the world of higher realms of bliss, into what is called the heaven of Tushita. What is their play, what is their joy, what is their forest, what is their celestial maiden, what is the form of their radiance, and what is their form, what is their splendor, what is their wisdom, what is their length of life, and to what extent, all kinds of pleasures, body and mind, and enjoyment, and the differences of the celestial maidens of various forms, the gods of non-contention cannot even match one-sixteenth. What their splendor is, we cannot describe. Their distinction makes us like fireflies, unable to match even in radiance, let alone enjoyment, merely a slight resemblance. In that long time, enjoying all kinds of pleasures, becoming the happiest of the gods, desiring the supreme bliss, possessing five qualities, enjoying various realms, feeling joy, this far surpasses all levels of the gods of non-contention. Because a long time has passed, and their actions have also been exhausted, impermanence will surely come, and they will surely experience it, all beings will surely experience it, what they will surely experience is, whether it be enjoyment, age, and knowledge, all beings will surely experience it, due to the power of impermanence, life is completely exhausted, and good deeds are also completely exhausted, after death, they are reborn in Tushita.
