They rejoice in the lotus ponds filled with color and fragrance, where the sounds of hundreds of thousands of bees mingle. Furthermore, they delight in the foothills and terraces that are always present. The daughters of the gods, who are supremely endowed with form and qualities, sing together and are delighted, and they drink nectar to create supreme joy, for it possesses supreme taste, fragrance, and color. Having drunk that, the gods who later dwell in heedlessness become exceedingly fat, creating all around. Furthermore, those who dwell in fatness, near the forest called 'Birds Rejoice' on that mountain, near the lapis lazuli platform that has been cleaned, and the platform adorned with gold, which is beautified with the seven precious jewels, they draw near and rely on it. They dwell in the vicinity that is surrounded, which is supremely beautiful and completely surrounded by excellent qualities. Those gods, indulging in the five objects of desire, are never satisfied, so those longings never come to an end. Just as a fire mixed with wood and wind never comes to an end. Likewise, a child with craving never comes to an end. Why is that? Because from beginningless time, children deluded by craving, the craving of each ordinary person, with a mind drawn near by insatiable craving, and never satisfied with their own realm, they never experience satisfaction through the power of pleasure. On that delightful platform, there is a room that is supremely delightful, supremely vast, supremely delightful, and those gods, with supremely excellent qualities, together rejoice in the five objects of desire with various forms and various thoughts and many desires. Then, those gods who wander in heedlessness, those gods who thus pursue, those who are mindful and dwell in mindfulness, having seen them, also speak verses out of compassion. For example: How, however one thinks, in that way, one sees desire.

Virtue destroys desire, while non-virtue greatly increases it. A mind of peace sees desire as a sword and poison. Children whose minds are not yet at peace see it as joy. All senses and objects depend on this mind of ours. The mind, by mixing with everything, goes to complete maturation. By being long in this, it is well bound by steadfastness. If the generality of form is not seen, how can the particulars be fully matured? Whatever the form, all such objects are from the cause of mind. A tamed mind is always at peace; mixing with faults is condemned. Just as water is one, yet colors and shapes are different. All kinds of defilements and so on, similarly deeply enter the mind. By the power of whatever arises, the outer illusion wheel acts. The movement of the mind is its language, deeply involving this world. Beings, heedless and destroyed, hold the taste of desire as supreme. They are always attached to forms, not knowing complete change. The beautiful image of a constant shadow, whatever the ripening of karma may be, having seen that, how do they look? They cling to the objects of desire and enjoyment. If desire were constant, there would be no separation from it. If that were so, whether to cling to desire and craving should be examined. First, impermanence, suffering, emptiness, and selflessness. How could the wise be attached to that which is the result of suffering? Having fallen from the heavens, led by karma, and again deceived by objects, that karma is not the goal. Thus, that god is not heedless, does not abide in heedlessness, and therefore shows various ways to those other gods. Having truly seen the nature of true karma and the nature of what is done by each karma, having become compassionate due to the fear of each karma, he explains. Thus, the gods who constantly wander will rejoice in the constant mountain. They see that the very nature is ascertained in various ways. Furthermore, the gods who dwell on the constant mountain, their forests and the nearby forests, mostly greatly rejoice in those forests.

It is the nature of beryl and the nature of silver. How do they become the names of those chief ones? It is like this: The Solitary Shade, for him, the Solitary Shade is without shadow. For him, the forest of the Solitary Shade also greatly delights in the nature of beryl. On the land that is soft when pressed and bounces when lifted, flocks of birds utter all kinds of sounds, possessing hundreds of thousands of lotus ponds. In those places possessing hundreds of thousands of waterfalls, ponds, and lakes, those gods dwell happily, thereby bringing joy in various ways. In the very forest of the Solitary Shade, in the five great ponds, swans, ruddy shelducks, and geese are exceedingly pleased with each other, and when they hear the sounds of various kinds of voices, they are very happy, and the sounds that are well-tamed in various ways bring joy. Many things born from water, completely arising from water, separated from the smell of mud by the great force of wind-blown waves. The lotus holes of the exceedingly pure ponds and the other holes of the petals become friends with each other, therefore they are happy and also enjoy everywhere. There are also these five ponds, likewise, delightful to see, water that never satisfies, birds manifestly delighted, always all-delighting, and the gods delighted. In those places, hundreds of thousands of bees of various shapes and colors shine, exceedingly joyful, bees craving the taste of the one nectar are drinking, and they utter exceedingly great sounds. Hearing those sounds resounding there, seeing the delightful scenery, the gods often play there, and run swiftly. The water of those ponds is very clear, the color, shape, and exceedingly fragrant water, the gods clearly see, and then enter those ponds in order, enjoying together and engaging in water sports, therefore, approaching the merits of the five desires and enjoying exceedingly perfectly, those gods truly generate such joy, and bring joy in various ways. Furthermore, exceedingly pleasing
