Falling into evil paths, one will be reborn in hell. O gods, this is said to be the suffering that arises from encountering unpleasant things in the human world of humans. One will also experience various other sufferings of different kinds and manners. Among these, these three are definitely encounters with unpleasant things: for example, encountering enemies who have become thorns in one's eyes and are always at odds with oneself, this is one kind of encounter with unpleasant things. Another encounter with unpleasant things is: acting together with sinful friends. Indeed, this third encounter with unpleasant things is: hiding resentment in one's heart and completely destroying at other times. These are said to be three other kinds of encounters with unpleasant things. O gods, these are various other great sufferings of the people of the human world. Furthermore, Musulinda teaches in order to make the gods weary of suffering: for example, separation from loved ones. Whatever benefits both worlds is also called "loved." Separation from a virtuous friend who always wishes to be beneficial. This is a great suffering. Also, separation from mother, father, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, and other related people, as well as other things that have become objects of craving, alas, the intense suffering that causes harm, burns the heart more than swords and falling into fire. These are said to be the sufferings that arise from separation from loved ones. Furthermore, the Lord of Non-Contention teaches the Dharma for the benefit of the gods: for example, both cold and heat cause suffering. Furthermore, the Lord of Non-Contention himself declares to the gods: O gods, what are the sufferings in this human world of humans? For example, both cold and heat, and so on, cause suffering.

Therefore, excessive reliance also leads to suffering. O gods, those who excessively rely on cold, experiencing that suffering in the human realm and relying on all warm things, the people of the human realm will suffer even more because of that. Similarly, excessive reliance on food also leads to suffering. Prolonged sitting also leads to suffering. Prolonged standing and walking are also the very nature of suffering. Likewise, the suffering of excessive reliance on drinks, and the very suffering of dreams, and lying on the bed at night with one side of the body on the mattress also becomes very painful. Similarly, if one lies on the other side for a very long time, it will also give rise to great suffering. Because those seemingly pleasant things arising from the combination of two deceive people in the human realm, sentient beings do not perform virtuous deeds. Those who are completely overcome by pleasure will run to hell. O gods, that great suffering of people in the human realm is also the suffering of the illusion of pleasure. O gods, in order to prevent that from happening, Musilinda teaches the Dharma to the gods of non-conflict, in order to negate that the happiness of beings born in that human realm will change like ours, and in order to make them weary of it, he teaches the Dharma that will turn them away from samsara. That lord of non-conflict, for the sake of benefiting those who turn away from samsara, in order to subdue the heedless through heedfulness. Furthermore, that lord of non-conflict shows those very gods other sufferings of humans. For example, how diseases will arise for people in the human realm, through various ways, many thoughts, and many motivations, diseases such as epidemics, severe diarrhea, difficulty in breathing, coughing, and so on, there are four hundred and four diseases in total. Those sentient beings who are completely overcome by dual suffering

Those with greed will be further destroyed by diseases from the outside. Then, what else follows that, what destroys people in the human world, that is also called the disease of the body. People are mostly sorrow and displeasure, etc., which are the diseases of people, and worldly people also say so. Furthermore, Musulinda teaches the Dharma for the benefit of those gods, in order to reduce samsara, and to show that the human world is completely burned by suffering, for example, what is called "being under the control of others" is the suffering of people in the human world. Gods! In this human world, those who are born the same, have the same caste, the same faculties, the same age, and the same courage and strength, also become close to being under the control of others due to inferior karma. They cannot be independent day and night, and always carry a heavy burden of extreme suffering, this is the suffering of being under the control of others. Furthermore, the most unbearable suffering of being under the control of others is that, even if one is fully endowed with lineage, appearance, diligence, joy, etc., as well as intelligence, knowledge, and consciousness, one is oppressed by poverty, so that one becomes the slave of those who are inferior in all levels. Furthermore, Musulinda, those gods, because of their inferior karma, and also because of abandoning generosity, in the practice of non-contention, it is easy to be placed under control, and they cannot be independent day and night. Those whose power of generosity is inferior are always impoverished and destitute, their hands and feet are cracked, they wear old and dirty clothes, they are always oppressed by hunger and thirst, and they carry the heavy burden of the suffering of cold and heat. For them, these various unbearable sufferings are the suffering of being under the control of others, and they constantly approach day and night.
