Now, whatever there is, is used and done, and completely accumulated, that will carry away (everything), yet it will not be remembered. How can karma be exhausted, how can good deeds be realized, where should one go at the time of death, what kind of destination will follow, and in what way will one experience happiness and suffering, what will happen, and what will not happen, and the good indicator of the path of good and bad deeds. In the situations of hell, hungry ghosts, animals, and humans, accompanied by fear, and through achieving fearlessness, the fearlessness that is mastered, for the situations of other existences, it is not fully understood in that way, because when sinking in the darkening carelessness, it is not understood. When the good deeds are completely exhausted, when one is surely blown down by the wind of impermanence, those who are relied upon and practiced by carelessness, and repeatedly done, will encounter the faces of friends who are not friends, and those who hold the image of benefits that are not beneficial, the results of reversing the order. What we have relied upon and practiced, and repeatedly done of carelessness, if it is not well practiced, then when the results are known, how the enemy of carelessness treats those, countless times, those gods retreat, and oneself also feels happy, singing, that lake is also like the essence of all good deeds, very happy, playing on the petals of the lotus king, those and any in the middle of the sky in the houses, see that lake similar to the lake of beings. Then, those gods who act on carelessness, called playing on the water waves, express the verses made by good deeds, for example: The life of sentient beings, is like the waves of water, swaying, the water bubble without essence, the gods know.

Neither. The aggregate of the head remains for a long time, This life is also brief, The long dwelling of the gods is not so, Impermanence has abandoned fortune. As the lamps are extinguished, People think that the light also disappears. Likewise, when karma is exhausted, The happiness of the gods will also be destroyed. Whatever action is done that does not perish, It is not possible for even a little to exist. Even so, the ignorant ones, These births are not permanent. Whatever thing is born, Its destruction always remains. The nature of all conditioned things, Is clearly present here. If the beings of samsara, Are driven by their own karma. Why is this world so ignorant? Destroyed by negligence. Negligence destroys happiness. Negligence is the chief of bonds. Negligence leads to downfall, Negligence torments in hell. The sole cause of this suffering, Is proclaimed to be negligence. Therefore, the practitioner who seeks happiness, Should completely abandon negligence. Whoever completely abandons negligence, He will obtain an unshakeable state. Whoever delights in diligence, That is the very end of nirvana. Those states of diligence, Are also the path to supreme nirvana. Negligence is the cause of downfall, Those reasons are widely proclaimed. All negligent people, Appear like madmen. This world is full of temptations, And the next life is tormented by sins. All negligent people, Engage in perverse actions. The causes, the ripening of karma, And death and rebirth are likewise. This cruelty of the fire of negligence, Leads one to hell. Therefore, in order to be liberated from hell, Completely abandon negligence. Whoever truly conquers negligence, And always delights in wisdom. He will cut the bonds of affliction, And go forth to the arising of the state of bliss. From the five gates arise the three poisons, By birth, they constantly enter the three realms, The Buddhas who have triumphed over negligence, Spoke of negligence. Negligence is the birthplace of darkness, Diligence is happiness. Therefore, the practitioner who seeks happiness, Should completely abandon negligence. Thus, those pleasure gods called "playing in the waves of water" became negligent, and so on.

In order to pacify all heedlessness, the following verses are explained. Those gods, too, because they are completely ignorant, how could they speak of those suchness? Therefore, they do not understand at all. Again, in the same way, those who have gone into the middle of the sky, and those who look at the lotus petals blooming in the vast lake, they are especially focused on looking at each other, playing and rejoicing, also feeling happy, with the exceedingly pleasant sound of the five divine instruments. The forms and scents of other places also attract each other, satisfying with happiness, those places that are never satisfied, like salt water, again and again in the forests, they become never satisfied. Those gods are thus happy in various ways and also experience happiness. Then, after a very long time, those gods, having played and frolicked in the middle of the sky, return again to the place where that blooming lake and the great lotus forest are. Any god who enjoys those lotus petals together, singing, rejoicing, and serving with the sound of the five instruments, those who proceed with the act of serving each other and harmonize, with a mind full of attachment to the six desires, which is synonymous with satisfaction, sing for a long time and also play to their heart's content, they experience happiness in various ways and with various thoughts. Their happiness is also perfectly accomplished through generating the mind of enlightenment, arising together, and merely thinking, virtuous deeds also become perfect in this way. Those gods are thus swept away by the power of the water of thought, and by the great river with the waves of thought, they spend a long time with an extremely heedless mind. The great lake's...
