Then, with perfect accomplishment, the king will possess fame and integrity. When the king rules the people with integrity, then whichever city's people rely on him, they will proclaim his good name in all directions. In this way, he will be well endowed with Dharma, benefit, and fame. When the king rules the people well, after his body is destroyed and he dies, he will become the lord of the gods of the Heaven of No Strife in the world of good destinies. This is due to the maturation of the karma he previously created. Furthermore, other Dharma practices should also be diligently performed by the king or by many others. What are these? They are like practicing the ten paths of virtuous actions. All of these will also possess the maturation of supreme bliss. Among these, the path of virtuous actions itself has three aspects: body, speech, and mind. The bodily aspects are abandoning killing, not taking what is not given, and abandoning sexual misconduct. The aspects of speech are abandoning lying, divisive speech, harsh speech, and meaningless chatter. The aspects of mind are covetousness, malice, and wrong views. Among these, how do these become various paths of action? These ten non-virtuous actions are called the paths of non-virtuous actions. How does wisdom become the non-inverted, correct path of virtue? The name wisdom refers to that. What are those wisdoms? Those wisdoms can also truly attain the ultimate of Nirvana. Humans and gods will appear, and whatever they desire will be fulfilled. These the king himself can control, and for the people of the city, this king is like a father and mother, enabling them to attain Nirvana and the heavens. All his thoughts will be accomplished. Because of the nature of impermanence, if he passes away, he will be born among the gods, at which time he will enjoy the happiness that comes from the maturation of virtuous deeds. In short, he will be born as a god free from strife. By completely abandoning the taking of life, the lower, intermediate, and superior gods will have long lives. Furthermore, in the same way, in the six realms of gods, by completely abandoning taking what is not given, wealth will be stable. In the forests, nearby forests, and mountain peaks, the nature of the seven precious things will become complete, causing joy in various ways. By completely abandoning sexual misconduct, until this one dies and transmigrates, the goddesses will not transfer to other sons of gods. Even while alive, they will never transfer to other sons of gods, nor will they be contemptuous, but all beautiful forms and all splendor will look upon him alone. Those whose sexual misconduct is not well guarded, their goddesses will transfer to others, each giving rise to the maturation of their respective karmas. Moreover, one becomes an excellent speaker, well-versed in embellishment. Whatever one speaks, one narrates it with pleasure, and this is close to the gods, because they have completely abandoned falsehood. By abandoning divisive speech, countries will not be destroyed. By constantly abandoning harsh words, one will always hear pleasant sounds of songs, dances, laughter, and graceful movements, which are extremely pleasing to the ear and mind. By abandoning meaningless speech, one will always have eloquent speech and proper language, pleasing all the gods. Thus, one enjoys the fruits of well-practiced speech. Among the gods, in the minds of the gods, who enjoys these fruits? By abandoning covetousness, all the desires of this person will gather immediately upon the arising of the thought. And whatever one obtains will certainly not decline. Other gods will not want to take it away either. Therefore, those who have abandoned covetousness will be like that, and this ripening is not for others. For those who have abandoned harmful intent, by abandoning harmful intent, one will be in harmony with all the heavenly beings and will also possess an excellent form.
