དེས་དགེ་སྦྱོང་དང་བྲམ་ཟེ་རྣམས་ལ་གཏོང་བར་བྱེད་པ་དེ་ཡང་ལུས་ཞིག་ནས་མཐོ་རིས་བདེ་འགྲོའི་འཇིག་རྟེན་འཐབ་བྲལ་བའི་ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་བདག་པོར་ལས་དེའི་རྒྱུ་དང་རྐྱེན་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་འགྱུར་རོ། །གཞན་ཡང་རྒྱལ་པོ་རྒྱལ་རིགས་སྤྱི་བོ་ནས་དབང་བསྐུར་བ་ལ་གཅེས་པར་འགྱུར་བའི་ཆོས་འཇིག་རྟེན་གཉིས་ལ་ཕན་པར་བྱེད་པ་ཡོད་དེ། འདི་ཡང་གང་ཞེ་ན། ཆོས་བྱེད་པ་མ་ཡིན་པ་རྣམས་མི་འཛིན་པའོ། །རྒྱལ་པོ་རྒྱལ་རིགས་རྣམས་ཀྱང་གང་གི་ཕྱིར་ཆོས་དང་ལྡན་པ་དང་། ཆོས་ཀྱི་རྗེས་སུ་འཇུག་པ་ཡིན་ནོ། །ཆོས་བྱེད་པ་མ་ཡིན་པའི་སྐྱེ་བོ་རྣམས་ངེས་པར་འགེགས་པར་མི་བྱེད་པ་དང་། འཛིན་པར་བྱེད་པ་དང་། ཆོས་བྱེད་པ་མ་ཡིན་པ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་མགྲིན་པ་མི་གཙང་བར་བྱེད་པ་པོ་ལོག་པར་ལྟ་བས་རི་དགས་ཀྱི་འཁོར་བ་འགྲོལ་བར་བྱེད་པ། མཆོད་ སྦྱིན་དང་ཕྱུགས་གསོད་པར་བྱེད་པ། སྐྱེས་བུ་ཐ་ཆད་དུ་གྱུར་པ། སྐྱེས་བུ་ཕྱིན་ཅི་ལོག་འཛིན་པ། ཕ་མ་ལ་གུས་པ་མེད་པ་དང་རྣམ་པ་དེ་ལྟ་བུར་གྱུར་པ་རྣམས་ཡུལ་དུ་འཛིན་པར་མི་བྱེད་དོ། །དེ་དང་བསྟེན་འགྲོགས་བྱས་པར་གྱུར་པའི་སྐྱོན་གྱིས་སྐྱེས་བུ་གཞན་དག་དགེ་བའི་སེམས་དང་ལྡན་པ་རྣམས་ཀྱང་རབ་ཏུ་ཆུད་གཟོན་པར་བྱེད་དོ། །དེ་དག་རྣམས་ལ་བསྟེན་པའི་སྐྱོན་གྱིས་དེ་དག་ཆུད་གཟན་པས་འདིའི་མངའ་བྱེད་པ་རྣམས་ཡོངས་སུ་ཉམས་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །དུས་མ་ཡིན་པར་ཆར་འབབ་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །དུས་མ་ཡིན་པར་ལྷས་ཤིན་ཏུ་ཚ་བར་བྱེད་དོ། །དུས་མ་ཡིན་པར་ལོ་ཏོག་རྫོགས་པར་བྱེད་དོ། །ཡུལ་ལྗོངས་བརླག་པར་ཡང་འགྱུར་ཏེ། སྡིག་པ་བྱེད་པ་པོ་དེ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ཉེས་དམིགས་ཆེན་པོས་སོ། །རྒྱུ་དེས་ན་ཆོས་བྱེད་པ་རྣམས་འཛིན་པ་ཡིན་ནོ། །སྐྱེས་བུ་ཆོས་བྱེད་པ་ཀུན་དུ་བཟུང་བས་ཀྱང་ལྷས་དུས་སུ་ཆར་འབེབས་སོ། །དུས་སུ་རླུང་རྒྱུའོ། །དུས་སུ་ལོ་ཏོག་རྫོགས་པར་བྱེད་དོ། །ཡུལ་ལྗོངས་བརླག་པར་ཡང་མི་འགྱུར་རོ། །འཇིགས་པ་དང་། མྱ་ངན་དང་། ཡ་ང་བ་དང་སྐྱེ་དགུ་རྣམས་བྲལ་བར་འགྱུར་རོ། །སྐྱེས་བུ་ཆོས་བྱེད་དེ་དག་མངའ་བྱེད་པར་གྱུར་པས་འདུ་བྱེད་རྣམས་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱི་སྡུག་བསྔལ་རྣམ་པར་ཆད་པར་བྱེད་དོ། །སྐྱེས་བུ་ཆོས་བྱེད་ལེགས་པར་འཛིན་ཅིང་སྟེན་པར་བྱེད་པ་འདིའི་སྙིང་པོའི་མཆོག་ནི་ཚངས་པར་སྤྱོད་པའོ། །འདི་ལྟ་སྟེ། སྐྱེས་བུ་ཆོས་བྱེད་རྣམས་སྟེན་པའམ། ལེགས་པར་འཛིན་པར་བྱེད་པའོ། །དེའི་ཕྱིར་ན་བློ་དང་ལྡན་པར་གྱུར་པའི་རྒྱལ་རིགས་རྒྱལ་པོར་སྤྱི་བོ་ནས་དབང་བསྐུར་བས་སྐྱེས་བུ་ཆོས་བྱེད་པ་ལ་ཀུན་དུ་བསྟེན་པར་བྱའོ། །དེ་ལས་ཀྱང་འཇིག་རྟེན་གཉིས་སུ་ཕན་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །ལུས་ཞིག་པར་གྱུར་ནས་ཀྱང་མཐོ་རིས་བདེ་འགྲོའི་འཇིག་རྟེན་འཐབ་བྲལ་གྱི་ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་མངའ་བདག་ཏུ་འགྱུར་ཏེ། ལས་དེའི་རྒྱུ་དང་རྐྱེན་གྱིས་སོ། །གང་གིས་སྡིག་པའི་གྲོགས་པོ་དང་སྟེན་པར་མི་འགྱུར་བ་ལ་སྡིག་པའི་གྲོགས་པོ་ཡང་རྣམ་པ་བརྒྱད་སྤང་བར་བྱ་སྟེ། འདི་ལྟ་སྟེ། མེད་པར་སྨྲ་བར་གྱུར་པ་གང་གིས་སྦྱིན་སྲེག་མེད་དོ། ། སྦྱིན་པ་མེད་དོ། །འཇིག་རྟེན་འདི་མེད་དོ། །ཕ་རོལ་མེད་དོ་ཞེས་ཟེར་བ་འདི་ནི་སྡིག་པའི་གྲོགས་པོ་གཅིག་ཡིན་ནོ། །སྡིག་པའི་གྲོགས་པོ་གཉིས་པ་ཡོད་དེ། འདི་ལྟར་བགྲོད་པར་བྱ་བ་མ་ཡིན་པ་ཡོད་པ་ནི་མ་ཡིན་ནོ། །ཚངས་པར་སྤྱོད་པ་མེད་དོ། །ནམ་ཟླ་དང་དུས་ཀྱིས་བུད་མེད་དག་ལ་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱིས་བགྲོད་པར་བྱ་བའོ། །སྐྱེས་བུ་གསུམ་པ་སྡིག་པའི་གྲོགས་པོར་གྱུར་པ་ནི་འདི་ལྟ་སྟེ། ཇི་ལྟར་གང་དག་སེམས་ཅན་རྣམས་ལ་བྱིན་པ་དང་མེར་བཅུག་པ་དེ་དག་རྣམས་ཀྱི་བཅུག་པར་གྱུར་པ་ནི་མ་བཅུག་པ་ཡིན་ནོ། །སྡིག་པའི་གྲོགས་པོ་བཞི་པ་ནི་འདི་ན་ཇི་སྲིད་འཚོ་བའི་བར་དེ་སྲིད་ཅིག་ཁོ་ནར་སྐྱེས་བུ་དག་འགྱུར་གྱི་དེ་ཤི་བར་གྱུར་ན། དེའི་ཕྱིར་དེའི་ལེགས་པར་བྱས་པ་དང་ཉེས་པར་བྱས་པ་དེ་དག་རྣམས་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱང་ཇི་ལྟར་སྤྲིན་དང་ཁུག་རྣ་རྣམས་རྣམ་པར་ཉམས་ནས་སླར་ཡང་མི་འཇུག་པ་དེ་བཞིན་དུ། ལུས་ཅན་དེ་དག་རྣམས་ཀྱི་བསོད་ནམས་དང་སྡིག་པ་ཡང་ཡིན་ནོ། །སྡིག་པའི་གྲོགས་པོ་ལྔ་པར་གྱུར་པ་ནི་ཕ་དང་མའི་རྩ་ནས་འབྱེད་པར་བྱེད་དོ། །གུས་པ་དང་རྣམ་པར་འབྲེལ་བར་བྱེད་དོ། །སྡིག་པའི་གྲོགས་པོ་དྲུག་པ་ཡོད་དོ། །འདི་ལྟ་སྟེ། སྲོག་གཅོད་པ་བྱ་བར་བྱས་ཏེ་རྒན་པོ་དང་། ལོང་བ་དང་། མགོན་མེད་པ་དང་། བཀྲེན་པ་རྣམས་སོ། །དེ་དག་ཀྱང་ཤི་ནས་འཇིག་རྟེན་གཞན་དུ་བདེ་བར་འགྱུར་རོ། །སྡིག་པའི་གྲོགས་པོ་བདུན་པ་ནི་འདི་ལྟ་སྟེ། གང་དག་རླུང་གིས་སམ་དེའི་ཚེ་མེས་སྲེག་པ་དང་། རླུང་ཟ་བ་དང་། གདུང་བ་ལྔས་དུས་བྱེད་པ་ནི་དེ་དག་གི་འཇིག་རྟེན་ཟད་པར་འགྱུར་ཏེ། གཞན་དག་ཏུ་རྗེ་བར་འགྱུར་བས་སོ། །སྡིག་པའི་གྲོགས་པོ་བརྒྱད་པ་ནི་འདི་དག་ཐམས་ཅད་ནི་ལྷས་བྱས་ཀྱི་ལས་དང་འབྲས་བུའི་མཚན་ཉིད་ནི་མ་ཡིན་ནོ། །སྡིག་པའི་གྲོགས་པོ་བརྒྱད་པོ་དེ་དག་རྣམས་ལེགས་པར་ཡོངས་སུ་སྤང་བར་བྱའོ། །ཀུན་ཏུ་སྤང་བར་བྱའོ། །ཡུལ་དུ་འཇོག་པར་མི་བྱེད་དོ། །ཕྲད་པར་ཡང་མི་བྱེ

Therefore, for those who give to ascetics and Brahmins, due to the causes and conditions of those actions, they will also, after the body is destroyed, be reborn in the high and happy world, becoming the master of the gods of the world of No Strife. Furthermore, the king, the royal family who has been crowned, has a Dharma that is cherished and benefits both this life and the next. What is this? It is not holding onto those who do not practice the Dharma. Kings and royal families also possess and follow the Dharma. For those who do not practice the Dharma, one must not necessarily obstruct them, but hold onto them, and for those who speak with unclean words, who liberate the cycle of deer with wrong views, who perform sacrifices and slaughter livestock, who have become inferior beings, who hold inverted views, who have no respect for parents, and who have such qualities, do not hold them in the country. Due to the faults of associating with these people, other beings who possess good thoughts will also be completely destroyed. Due to the faults of relying on these people, these people are destroyed, and the rulers of this country will also completely decline. Untimely rain will occur. Untimely lightning will become very hot. Untimely crops will ripen. The country will also be destroyed, due to the great sins of those who do evil. Therefore, one should hold onto those who practice the Dharma. Because of universally holding onto those who practice the Dharma, the gods will send down rain in due season. The wind will blow in due season. The crops will ripen in due season. The country will also not be destroyed. Fear, sorrow, suffering, and beings will be separated. Because those who practice the Dharma become rulers, the suffering of all conditioned things will be completely cut off. The essence of this, the best of all, is pure conduct, for those who hold well and rely on those who practice the Dharma. It is like this: relying on or holding well those who practice the Dharma. 应当恒常依止行持佛法之人。如此一来，今生来世皆能获益。身坏命终之后，也能以该业的因缘成为天界善趣中无诤天众之主。无论如何都不要亲近恶友，因为有八种恶友应当断除。如下所示：那些说空话的人，他们说没有火供，没有布施，没有今世，没有来世，这就是第一种恶友。第二种恶友是：他们说不应行淫，没有梵行，无论何时何地，所有的女人都可以行淫。第三种恶友是：他们说那些布施或焚烧供品给有情众生的人，无论他们是否已经供养，实际上都没有供养。第四种恶友是：他们说人只能活到断气为止，一旦死亡，生前所做的一切善恶都会像云和回声一样消散，不会再回来，有情众生的功德和罪业也是如此。第五种恶友是：他们会离间父母，不敬不孝。第六种恶友是：他们会杀害老人、瞎子、无依无靠的人和穷人。他们死后也会在来世获得安乐。第七种恶友是：那些被风吹走或被火焚烧，或被风吞噬，或被五种痛苦折磨而死的人，他们的世界将会毁灭，他们将会成为其他人的奴隶。第八种恶友是：他们说这一切都不是天神所为，也不是业和果报的自然规律。这八种恶友都应当彻底断除，完全断除，不要让他们住在自己的地方，也不要与他们相遇。

One should always rely on those who practice the Dharma. By doing so, one will benefit in both this life and the next. Even after the body is destroyed, one will become the lord of the gods in the heaven of the happy realms, free from strife, due to the cause and condition of that action. In any case, one should not associate with evil friends, for there are eight types of evil friends that should be abandoned. These are: those who speak empty words, saying there is no fire offering, no giving, no this world, no other world. This is the first type of evil friend. The second type of evil friend is: they say that there is no such thing as not engaging in sexual activity, there is no pure conduct, and that all women can be engaged with at any time and place. The third type of evil friend is: they say that those who give or burn offerings to sentient beings, whether they have already offered or not, have actually not offered. The fourth type of evil friend is: they say that people only live until they die, and once they die, all the good and bad they have done in their lives will vanish like clouds and echoes, never to return, and so it is with the merit and demerit of sentient beings. The fifth type of evil friend is: they will separate parents, and are disrespectful and unfilial. The sixth type of evil friend is: they will kill the old, the blind, the helpless, and the poor. Even they will find happiness in another world after death. The seventh type of evil friend is: those who are blown away by the wind or burned by fire, or devoured by the wind, or die tormented by the five sufferings, their world will be destroyed, and they will become slaves to others. The eighth type of evil friend is: they say that all of this is not the work of the gods, nor is it the nature of karma and its results. These eight types of evil friends should be completely abandoned, utterly abandoned, do not let them dwell in your place, and do not meet with them.
