I am small, wandering everywhere from city to city, delighting in watching how people gather in various places, delighting in conversations. He is sown by his father, relatives, friends, and his own people. Because he craves taste, whatever it may be for whomever, he eats because he craves taste. He speaks of the pleasures of the forest, and is also completely separated from meditative contemplation, and because the negligent one is negligent, he is reproached for wandering around looking for food, and therefore is not revered by the gods. Even though the living fields are exhausted, he still happily sows, and when he is attached to those things, that monk wanders unbound, and that is his behavior. That monk also becomes attached upon seeing the forms of the eye, and also generates desire. He generates harmful thoughts. He becomes attached to that itself and to the field itself. He constantly wanders, and because of wandering, he completely falls away from his own goal. He completely falls away from meditative contemplation. Having completely fallen away, he becomes extremely attached to taste. He also approaches the homes of others many times and in all directions. His eyes, having seen forms, generate desire. He generates harmful thoughts. Similarly, when the ear hears sounds, desire arises, and harmful thoughts arise. Similarly, when the nose smells odors, desire arises, and harmful thoughts arise. Because he is completely immersed in all realms, he is bound by all bonds, bound by all the bonds of ropes, he follows all desires and becomes a householder, not a renunciate. After his body is destroyed, after death, he falls into the evil realms and evil paths, and is born in the hells, this is the first fault of happily sowing. Therefore, this fault is manifest.

Having seen the image, a bhikkhu should not travel to various places once and again, repeatedly. Doing so will make the places desolate. If one still travels, it is for the sake of the five desirable qualities. For example, due to illness needing medicine, needing implements, and for the sake of the guru, one should travel to places. Similarly, if it is for a stupa, or the bhikkhus' clothes have become tattered, in that case, one can also travel in places. Similarly, for the sake of the sangha, travelers should travel, that is, for those things that will benefit the sangha. Similarly, if the territories of other kings are destroyed, or a place is destroyed, the traveler should go to that king. Doing so will have results, otherwise if the king travels, that is a meaningless travel. Traveling while being separated from meditation and cultivation. Traveling in that way, one cannot be completely liberated from disease, old age, death, sorrow, lamentation, suffering, and displeasure. A bad practitioner who claims to be a practitioner, this ordination is meaningless. Therefore, if someone wants to strive to pacify the desires of craving, then he should make the mind equal, make the senses completely subdued, and generate faith in the Three Jewels. One should cut off and remove from the root those afflictions that arise from its root, along with latent habits. Then, at that time, the Bhagavan Light Protector spoke the verses, as follows: Abandoning meditation and cultivation, only having the thought of food, this bhikkhu should be regarded here, as the same mind as a meat-eater. Meditation is not the bliss of giving, this is what the wise ones have said. Other than the bliss of meditation, there is no other bliss. The bliss of meditation is unsurpassed. Abandoning such a person, children like corpses, the foolish one is completely destroyed. Always wandering in the realm of desire, this mind always inclines towards there. Like a ghost in the next world.

That which creates, increases non-virtuous dharmas. Separated from meditation and determination, abandoning generosity and discipline, agitation, roughness, and ignorance, even when alive, are like being dead. In this world, even when alive, one follows other dharmas. Abandoning the Dharma, constantly ignorant, even when alive, is like being dead. Those children covered with human skin are like animals. Whoever has not illuminated their heart with the lamp of wisdom, that person exists in the world. Whoever follows discipline, all who are born with joy from discipline, oppress others with themselves as the standard. A person who abandons generosity and desires, even if they do evil, cannot be king. This is not a human being, it should be known; this possesses the body of a preta. Separated from knowledge and discipline, completely abandoning precious generosity, such a person, even when alive, is clearly said to be dead. Generosity and discipline, asceticism, meditation, steadfastness and mindfulness, possessing samadhi, are the greatest of great beings, even the gods pay homage. One who possesses qualities is a great being; one who lacks qualities is like an animal. One who can distinguish between the presence and absence of qualities, that person is called a god. Likewise, one who knows qualities and non-qualities, that person will be happy at all times and in all places. Whoever is constantly separated from wisdom, here will become a sufferer. Therefore, having heard those qualities, a monk should not crave or be attached to them. Thus, when practicing meditation, these ten dharmas that cause obstacles, if that practitioner is afraid of the fear of samsara, should be completely abandoned. Furthermore, there are eleven dharmas that obstruct the practice of meditation and also cause great suffering to the monks. What is this? It is not asking questions. This will cause obstacles to those of low intelligence here. Not keeping one's mouth shut, thinking oneself to be clever, one also shows oneself off to others, and thinks that one is a person who understands all the scriptures, that I am the one who can speak well, who understands the meaning, and that no one can compare to me. I know everything.
