Not with those whose land is defiled, not with those of wrong views, not with the deceitful, not with the arrogant, not with the proud, not with those who have fallen and risen again, not with those who live by gambling, not with those who sell alcohol, not with the quarrelsome, not with those who have great faith in women, not with those who live by trade, not with those with smoky eyes, not with spies, not with those who have many affairs, not with those who are fond of entertainment, not with those who have joined non-Buddhists, not with those who are at odds with all people. Do not associate with these people, do not speak with them, and do not walk with them on the road. A monk should not do this. Why? Because even for a pure person, people will doubt why he associates with those who have faults. Just as when one is young, people will say, this person also associates or is close to those of the same nature, and therefore he will be tainted by the faults of others. Therefore, one should not associate with these people. What is the use of being close to a king? One should be rebuked in every way. Then, at that time, the Blessed One Light Protector spoke verses, like this: For the monks who live in the forest, being close to a king is rebuked. What is a kasaya? What is killing? Avoid the harm of impurity. Whether it is a god or a goddess, one should not be close. A monk is not suitable to be a servant. Do not associate with those who have no faith, being close to the impure will be ridiculed. Without self, without essence, and without a joyful body. Because of fear of the terrors of samsara, being close to a king is not dignified. Forests and temples, cemeteries and trees, grasslands and distant places. A monk who lives in these places is very dignified. Do not be close to the gate of a king's house. Being close to a king is rebuked in various ways, and all those who practice the Brahmacharyas with you will also rebuke you. If monks are to be close, then be close to the King of Wisdom. Being close to him will lead to ultimate auspiciousness. Those who are close to wisdom will attain the best of happiness. Being close to him is also a means, like this, diligence will become firm.

and not doing other things, relying on the lama, being content, completely relying on him, always having no attachment to desires in the mind, and even more relying on asking that lama, holding, counting well, being smaller than the heart, equally practicing and relying on fellow Brahmacharis, relying on the Bhikshu, the King of Wisdom, and so on, there will be so many methods. Then, at that time, the Blessed One, Light Protector, spoke in verses, how: Habitually listening well from the lama, Likewise, it is the vast discipline. By relying on the King of Wisdom, In mindfulness, rely on discipline. The world together with the gods, Which king is good at showing happiness? It should be known that it is not an ordinary king, Having the suffering of the bondage of desire. For whom suffering is not observed, He is the king here. Who is also covered by suffering, How is the name of king suitable here? Therefore, a Bhikshu should rely on the King of Wisdom, not an ordinary person. From always relying on it, when meditating, one will completely degenerate. After he has completely degenerated, he will again be reborn in hell, as a hungry ghost, and as an animal. For whom, the faults of the country arising from that king, how are those for sentient beings, therefore a Bhikshu should not rely on the king in any situation. In order to rebuke these people living in the forest. Therefore, this ninth Dharma should be condemned, it creates obstacles when thinking about meditation. Furthermore, the tenth Dharma should be condemned, it creates obstacles when practicing meditation, what is this? For example, the one called happily planting Phieu is the one who makes flavors. If from a long time, those who have abandoned complete wandering due to going to the city, when approaching by touring, they will abandon the pleasing forest or dwelling, and constantly wander around in the cities without interruption. When they wander around everywhere, due to relying on careless behavior, he goes from one house to another, from one village to another, from one market to another, from a small village to a small village.
