For those who lack discernment and are like children, they examine the flawed twenty-eight worldly constellations. If one can truly discern and observe, then one does not examine the twenty-eight supramundane constellations that lead one into the city of Nirvana. So, what are these supramundane constellations? They are the five aggregates, the aggregates of grasping, and the eighteen realms. By examining these, one can attain Nirvana. Truly cutting off desire, completely restraining oneself, and subduing oneself also lead to Nirvana. Monks, those who contemplate the constellations are actually those evil practitioners who claim to be good monks in other ways, and they are satisfied with the offerings of twelve months. Counting them is also meaningless. They neither abandon afflictions nor attain Nirvana. Those who are satisfied with the twelve sources of birth, if they can well restrain themselves, fully understand the true meaning, be free from desire, and be completely restrained, can also attain Nirvana. Those evil practitioners who claim to be good monks examine other things that are without diligence and are completely stained by afflictions. Furthermore, those other ways that, after examination, cannot liberate one from disease, old age, and death, are those evil practitioners who contemplate evil and claim to be good monks, and they examine the six times that are completely stained by afflictions. If one can truly discern, observe, and abide, then one can attain Nirvana. Those thirty-six kinds of bodies that have a purpose, are completely stained by afflictions, and have harmfulness should not be examined. Furthermore, those evil practitioners who claim to be good monks examine the signs caused by worldly seasons.

He contemplates on that. Like this, the signs of the white time are beautiful. What is not white is not beautiful. At a certain time, these signs appear, but at a certain time, they do not appear. He thinks of such bad thoughts, but he does not contemplate the objects of observation of signs and non-signs, which are good, non-good, and unspecified, with the characteristic of being the object of the mind, for those who have become knowledgeable, those who have become happy in the beyond, those who will attain Nirvana, and those who will reach the ultimate end of Nirvana. Like this, the object of observation of the good that is possessed of a virtuous mind, the realm of going to happiness that is more beautiful, will arise in me. The virtuous mind that will go to Nirvana has arisen in me, focused on a certain place. The non-virtuous, all afflicted, is neither happiness nor knowledge. I will also not go to the realm of happiness. A certain mind of mine has arisen, focused on the unspecified, and that is the unspecified result. Furthermore, the bad ascetic, the image of the ascetic, with the worldly path, contemplates the life spans of people at the time of good and non-good, which are perfectly endowed with moments, instants, short times, days, half-months, and months, but my life's activities are momentary. Like this, these are momentary, instants, short times, and days, and months, and half-months, without delay, will be exhausted, so inevitably, he does not contemplate the time when the activities that have become the time of death, which is endowed with great power, will be exhausted. When meditating, the worldly order that interrupts, all other afflicted ones also contemplate the place of observation of the stars. He meditates. He meditates repeatedly. He meditates well with his mind. He dwells well. He also gives and shows to others. Like this, a certain star, a certain

Greed afflicts and torments, and the stars of union caused by greed also torment. If one thinks of this, one can be liberated from disease, sorrow, lamentation, suffering, and displeasure, and those who lead out of samsara. If one does not examine in this way, then like the stars, one's own self will be suppressed by other dharmas that have become the weapons of dharma. For example, the stars of birth are approached by the stars of death, the stars of health are approached by the stars of disease, the stars of youth are approached by the stars of old age, the stars of harmony and encounter are approached by the stars of separation, the stars born in the heavenly realms are approached by the stars of death and transference, the stars born in the human realm are approached by the stars of suffering from seeking and toil, the stars of pleasant feelings are approached by the stars of painful feelings, the stars of generating virtuous thoughts are approached by the stars of generating non-virtuous thoughts, the stars of displeasure are approached by the stars of hatred, and the stars of knowledge are approached by the stars of ignorance. A bad practitioner who claims to be a practitioner does not think about his own afflictions. He does not think about the investigations that should be examined beyond the world. For those of the world and those beyond the world, the stars as mentioned before should be examined, just as before. With proper attention, examine separately as it is. The stars mentioned before should also be thought of as they are, just as before, and practiced. If one examines separately with the eight branches of the path of wisdom that has become as it is, then the places of examination of the stars and planets will have fruits. One will also transcend sorrow and be auspicious.
