When it truly exists as it is, by smelling odors, one will not be attached to them in that way, nor will one be happy everywhere. At that time, the white dharmas will truly increase, and will not be too dazzling because of color. Those who fully understand in a truly real way will become gods and humans. That bad ascetic abandons those beautiful karmas and does other painting karmas, and when meditating, he will burn them up. Furthermore, when he smells fragrant and unpleasant odors, he becomes attached to those odors, combines with them, and feels happy. Because of improper attention, this will be taken away, becoming a place to be rebuked, stained by black karmas, and wandering in hells, pretas, and animals. That bad ascetic abandons other beautiful karmas and does painting-like beautiful karmas, and when meditating, he will burn them up. Furthermore, for beautiful karmas, it is like this: the consciousness of the tongue, because of the agreeable taste, when tasting the agreeable tastes, one will not be happy, nor will one be angry, nor will one be bound. Because of having proper attention, he will distinguish that taste, that is, these tastes will disappear even after they arise. These foods held in the palm of the hand fall on the tongue. When those things called sweet worms touch them and taste them together, the wisdom called snot flows from the marrow, the marrow will drip a lot, and it will drip like oil in the nostrils, and the tongue will stir with the dripping pus, and the tongue will taste the ground tsampa, which binds these children. He will think about those tastes as they really are. He will also distinguish through proper attention. These are white things.

Being perfectly endowed, one becomes supremely happy among gods and humans. Evil ascetics who claim to be ascetics, in this way, with various kinds of actions, make this world bright and beautiful, those who do not understand, when contemplating meditation, are actually doing other bright things that obstruct meditation. Furthermore, when tasting the flavors that have fallen on the tongue, those flavors that have been touched by sweetness and intoxication, due to their inferior wisdom, think: 'Alas, these foods are so delightful!', extremely delicious, extremely beautiful, possessing extremely vast colors, tastes, and smells, extremely pure, becoming full from the fullness of the food, committing misdeeds with body, speech, and mind, these actions, like painting various patterns with black paint, will lead to rebirth as animals. Always being led by inappropriate thoughts. Therefore, evil ascetics who claim to be ascetics, they abandon various kinds of actions, when they meditate on meditation, they are actually doing other vulgar actions that will cause obstacles. Furthermore, through which bright and beautiful actions are these worlds made bright and beautiful? For example, dull worldly senses are led by various objects. For example, the tangible, which is to be known by the body. Regarding this, those who properly contemplate in accordance with what is truly the case are led, that is to say, the meaning of what is called the tangible, the tangible is actually born from the aggregation of three things, it is not permanent, not stable, not eternal, not a creator, this is merely pleasing to the mind with just color, this body is merely pure in accordance with the senses, it is not permanent, not pleasant, and not possessing a self, this is merely an aggregation, it is a container that arises from the four great elements. It has become pain, always causing harm, always being harmed by disease, being led by all harm. What are those?

Then, they properly distinguish between the body itself and the tactile sensations. At that time, this tactile sensation will not lead to being seduced. This tactile sensation is not other, this tactile sensation is merely accidental. This is accompanied by near harm, and is without autonomy. Those who contemplate in this way through proper attention. Those people, adorned with white paint, will be reborn as gods and humans, but the bad practitioners, those who claim to be practitioners, will not observe these. The mind painter adorns the actions of this worldly person with splendor, and he abandons these. When entering into meditation, he will use those vulgar paints that hinder meditation to depict other actions. Furthermore, regarding the same tactile sensation, those unlearned, foolish ordinary people, those with low wisdom, will distinguish the tactile sensation as other. Due to improper attention, they will think: These tactile sensations of mine are extremely pleasant, they are the cause of extreme fullness of the body, these tactile sensations that satisfy me will allow me to exist in comfort. Similarly, those unlearned, foolish ordinary people, they observe tactile sensations with improper attention. These people, completely combined with black paint, will be reborn in hell, hungry ghosts, and animals. That is adorned with black paint. Those bad practitioners, those who claim to be practitioners, will not observe these, and abandoning those adorned actions, they will use other worldly paints to adorn those adornments that will hinder meditation. Furthermore, those who claim to be practitioners, greatly delight in the actions of worldly people, therefore they will not use their minds to contemplate the sacred Dharma.
