Indra goes ahead, and the goddesses, adorned and possessing various forms, follow him, going to the assembly place of the gods, Sudharma, with various sounds of music. Then, those gods who wish to serve Indra in Sudharma also go to where the king of gods, Indra, is. The dance and song of those who are visibly manifest, and the sound of the song that fully reveals desire, fills the entire realm of the gods. Having heard those sounds, the gods residing in the gardens of the gods and other nearby gardens, being endowed with and possessing the five qualities of desire of the gods, rejoice, play, and enjoy happiness. They also go to the assembly place of the gods, Sudharma, and having arrived, they speak frankly to Indra and say, "Please proceed victoriously," and then, surrounded by hundreds of thousands, they go to the assembly place of the gods, Sudharma. Singing and dancing with various virtuous deeds, those born with adornments and the four kinds of ornaments are the manifestation of the fruit of perfectly kept and cultivated discipline, and they draw near to it. All the gods enter Sudharma, the abode of Indra, which is vast for five hundred yojanas, adorned with pure gold, beautified with lapis lazuli trees, and also adorned with other trees, blooming with soft flowers, exceedingly fragrant, emitting fragrance for five yojanas, pleasing, making one happy, and possessing beauty and satisfaction that others cannot match. They enter into the palace called "Extremely Joyful Abode." The palace is adorned with pillars made of vaidurya, gold, silver, and copper, and with cushions made of gold. Spreads out carpets that are not woven, speckled, soft, and elastic. Indra bestows cushions with perfect qualities upon all the assembly of gods, and they sit down. Then, the lord of the gods, Indra, said to the gods: "We are born in this heavenly realm through the power of good deeds, but falling after those deeds are exhausted is unavoidable. We will all enjoy according to the distribution of the fruits of karma, and then we will come among the gods, and then we will face the end of falling again. Therefore, gods, clearly recognize all these sufferings and strive to do good." After hearing Indra's words, they all said to Indra: "Indra, just as you have realized, we will all fall from the joy and happiness of the heavenly realm by enjoying the fruits of our own karma. Other than that, what other causes will lead to our fall? Please explain." Then, Indra said to those gods: "Any phenomenon that is compounded by causes and conditions will eventually lead to destruction. Where is there a place that is constant, eternal, and unchanging? Whether it is below, to the side, in the middle, or above, there is no such place. The mind that is always attached to afflictions has completed its rituals, suffering has no end, there is no goodness, it is not the nature of happiness, it is not the arising of understanding causes and conditions, but it is the wrong arising.
