It is very beautiful. On both sides, the leaves of the golden trees are beryl (བཻ་ཌཱུརྱ, Sanskrit: वैडूर्य, Roman: vaiḍūrya, literal meaning: cat's eye stone), and the beryl trees have golden leaves. All those trees with leaves are covered with fruits of all seasons and nine kinds of beautiful flowers. The flocks of birds are always very happy, and they make sounds that are pleasant to hear, seeing the flocks of birds so happy. Those gods who are always completely happy, as if together, are happy at all times. There, they truly feel happy, and then go to another place called "Enjoying Wonderful". That place has houses covered with bamboo groves, separated by long pieces of flawless emerald gems. The terrain is undulating, decorated with lotus ponds. That place is decorated very beautifully with various jewel birds. In some places, the golden ground is covered with a beryl bamboo net, and everywhere is filled with bees and flowers. The groups of gods and goddesses are always extremely happy, completely filled with extreme joy. Those gods who engage in good deeds are always happy. Then, in another place, they go to where there are water, ponds, gardens, and many steps. In those steps and gardens, all the beautiful birds that swim in the water completely fill those places in the sky without any gaps, and make sounds. Many kinds of clear wine flowing like rivers flow, making the sound of waves from the golden stones, and making the sound of foam rolling "Krorolo", making the sound of birds extremely happy "Longlong". The two sides of those rivers are completely surrounded by the groups of goddesses sitting there, and they feel happy and play. Those holding golden lotuses in their hands strike each other, attracting each other like that, playing together, and time passes like that. The Noble Holy Dharma Mindfulness Sutra, Chapter Twenty-Nine. From that place, they also go to the place called the Intoxicating Garden.

All the gods go together with playful companions. In that garden, all forms of consciousness are obscured by intoxication. Those birds are intoxicated by the taste of fruits, the lapis lazuli bees are intoxicated by the taste of flowers, the cuckoos are intoxicated by seeing spring, and the birds walking along the shore are intoxicated by the taste of wine. Similarly, the gods are intoxicated by the five desirable qualities of the gods. Similarly, the goddesses are also intoxicated by the taste of desire together with the assembly of gods. Thus, women who are intoxicated by the taste of desire will not be intoxicated by anything else. Thus, all women indulge in desire, their minds are absorbed in it, they are devoted to it, they abide in it, and that is their nature. Those gods also rejoice there, being a hundred times more intoxicated after seeing the intoxicating things. Thus, those gods rejoice there as long as the karma of desire and lovely things is not exhausted. From there, when that is exhausted, those classes of gods will also die, and after death, they will be reborn in hells, hungry ghosts, and animals, according to how karma leads them. If they are born among humans with a shared destiny, then all those with the same merit will be born in the same place, region, and city, all will have abundant wealth, all will be born into noble and pure lineages, all will rejoice with each other, do the same things, and will see that they are born into virtue. From those (virtues), whatever is virtuous or non-virtuous that corresponds to this cause will happen to everyone, not individually. Then, the monk, knowing the ripening of the fruits of karma, contemplates the realm of the third Dhyana heaven. With the wisdom that comes from hearing, he sees how the abode of the third Dhyana heaven, called 'Righteous Joyful Detachment,' abides. There, he wonders which beings will be born there. He investigates with the wisdom that comes from hearing, and sees that those who become preachers of morality, who make other householders happy, praise and please them, and cultivate their minds with faith, give it to the field of merit.

If he is made to give alms and also made to keep the precepts, then after he leaves the body, he will be born among the gods of the heaven of the world of good destinies and high places. After being born there, he will also have such power arise: 'What kind of karma caused us to be born here?' Then they will truly remember being born as humans. 'This person was my virtuous friend in the human world, and this benefactor is me.' 'With that cause, that condition, and that basis, that and I have combined merit, and have come here.' He will think like that. Similarly, the virtuous friend Hearer also remembers the birth: 'Like this, this person made me give alms with a happy heart, with that cause, that condition, and that basis, then I was born with a happy mind in this world of gods.' Then, he is born in the place of the gods of the heaven of true formation. Then, he transforms into another, and sees many goddesses like a lotus assembly, adorned with various forms, colors, youth, and beauty. After seeing those goddesses, as soon as those gods see them, they do not remember even the slightest bit of what they did in their previous lives, and their minds are completely attached to objects. Born in a place of carelessness, their minds are stolen by the pleasures of objects, and thus they give rise to minds driven by desires. Then, the gods of the heaven of true formation see hundreds of thousands of goddesses with unparalleled beauty, and the fire of desire that has been burning in their minds since beginningless time intensely burns them, just as fire burns dry wood for a long time. Those goddesses go to where the gods are, and the goddesses are always focused on pleasure, filling the sky with fragrant breath, holding various heavenly ornaments and lotuses in their hands, and going to where the gods are. Then, those gods and goddesses experience various kinds of heavenly pleasures. Then, recognizing such carelessness, that monk becomes disgusted with the various fearsome sufferings of samsara, and then speaks the following verses:
