Then it transforms, like that surrounded by a host of goddesses, they rejoice in the gardens with five kinds of musical instruments and the nearby gardens, fully enjoying and experiencing unparalleled heavenly bliss. As they enjoy in that way, they see from afar a heavenly garden adorned with many trees, delightful to the gods, and those gods ride in golden chariots of the Jambu River and go there. When the chariot enters that garden where various birds sing and young shoots of the garden hang down, the sound called bird-heavenly language playing, in harmony with the speech of the gods, driven by the power of the gods' virtuous deeds, they speak in verses like this: Those who do deeds of joy, whatever person does here, the ripening of their deeds will be perfectly and completely matured. Those gods who have attained happiness, if they do not rely on carelessness, they will obtain happiness from happiness and follow after nirvana. The end of happiness will eventually be exhausted, and there is no permanence or constancy in this. Having obtained those immeasurable palaces, supreme beings should not be attached. The end of happiness will always fall, and there is no permanence in happiness. Having known all those causes, contemplate them well in your mind. All accumulations will eventually be exhausted, the end of high status will eventually decay, the end of assembly will eventually separate, and the end of life will eventually die. Those who are born will always die, and there is no permanence in that. Whether they have been born before in the three realms, or whether they will be born later, there is no such thing. Just as the rising of the sun and its setting are very obvious, so the final death is the dwelling place of all who are born. Having known the nature of all phenomena, this birth and death, do not be mindful of carelessness, carelessness is the best of poisons. Non-carelessness is the place of immortality, and carelessness is the place of death. Those who are non-careless do not go to death, and those who are careless always die. Just as poison and just as fire, living beings are careless in the same way, and those sentient beings who are intoxicated by carelessness go from suffering to suffering. Those who are always non-careless are revered by all the world, wherever there is carelessness.

Does not abide, goes to the supreme peace. All of that will come to an end. Ignorance is not knowing. That one will die later. Vainly suffers without purpose. If you always want to be happy, Do good deeds until death. Practicing Dharma is happiness, So the wise advise. Showing the nature of the cause, All the Buddhas say about samsara. Always impermanent, unstable, Changing and burning, they always say. Then, that god, having heard the words of those birds, thought about it correctly and generated great joy in his mind. Remembering the fruits of his previous life, he did not engage in carelessness for a moment. He holds that mind with the reins of faith, and does not give rise to carelessness towards desirable forms, sounds, smells, tastes, and tactile sensations. Then, that unstable mind again becomes subject to the bliss of the gods, and until the desirable and lovely desires are exhausted, he engages in those lovely objects. Then he will die from that heavenly realm. After death, if he is not born into the hells, pretas, and animals due to karma that will be experienced in other lifetimes, but is born among humans with equal fortune, then he will never be bound by karma that is related to that, and he will see that he will always have happiness and be liberated from fears. Then again, a monk who knows the ripening of the fruits of karma contemplates the abode of the gods holding whisks in their hands. He investigates with the wisdom arising from hearing, and sees how the abode of the gods holding whisks in their hands, called the place attached to scents, exists. Thinking, "Which beings will be born there?" he investigates with the wisdom arising from hearing, and sees that a man who has morality, whose heart and mind are very pure, having meditated with mindfulness, whose mind has become without disturbance, who does not harm others, and who knows that the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha are great fields of merit, and who makes offerings with very fragrant clothes, and also thinks that he has done well, when he departs from his body, will be born into the happy realm of the gods, that is, among the gods in the place attached to scents.
