Seeing the transcendence of suffering as visible. Then again, O Bhikshu, knowing the ripening of the fruits of karma, he contemplates the abodes of the gods who hold whisks in their hands. Through the wisdom arising from hearing, he sees how the abode of the gods called 'Melodious Bees' exists. Thinking, 'Which sentient beings will be born there?' he investigates through the wisdom arising from hearing. If someone is endowed with morality and wisdom, cultivates a heart of mindfulness, a mind moistened with compassion, engages in benefiting sentient beings, and offers music and incense to stupas, then upon separating from the body, they will be reborn in the happy realm, the heavenly world, in the abode of the gods who hold whisks in their hands, in 'Melodious Bees.' Having been born there, abiding in the fruits of their own karma, they experience various kinds of happiness such as cymbals, songs, dances, laughter, playfulness, and joy. The goddesses intoxicated by the fragrance of lotuses, upon hearing songs, have their minds captivated, and they listen to the enchanting melodies. In the delightful pleasure gardens, numerous assemblies of goddesses emit the sounds of melodies. The fragrance of various mixed flowers touches their bodies, and together with those who delight in the peaks of Mount Meru adorned with various jewels, they wander and rejoice in their abodes, greatly pleased upon hearing beautiful sounds. Thus, having directly seen the fruits of well-performed actions, the Bhikshu praises virtuous actions and speaks in verses, saying: These actions are the abodes of the gods, They become the staircase to the three realms. Those who climb upon them, Go to experience happiness in the heavenly realms. Restraining the four aspects of speech, And the three arising from the body, Having climbed the seven steps, One goes to the three heavenly realms. Practicing morality is exceedingly pleasant, Enjoying wealth is not as pleasant. Wealth causes people to decline, But morality does not cause decline. It makes people good, And it is beautiful in each individual place. Therefore, going to the higher realms, Is praised as virtuous by the supreme conquerors. Those who practice virtue, Are like going to a pleasure grove. The world of the gods

One should practice the Dharma well, and thoroughly repent for the sins that have been committed. Thus, that bhikkhu directly sees the arising of various kinds of happiness, and praises the gods of the melodious sound of bees without end. Thus, those gods, that is, the many bees belonging to the heavenly realm, emit melodious sounds. As long as his desired, pleasant deeds and accumulations have not been exhausted, he will experience particularly beautiful things such as sounds, smells, tastes, and tactile sensations. Afterwards, he will die from that heavenly realm. After death, if he is not born into hell, hungry ghosts, or the animal realm due to other karmas that need to be experienced, but is related to humans and is born into the human realm, then, due to the causal relationship with the previous good deeds, he will wear beautiful garlands, constantly enjoy happiness, dwell without harm, live long, and be wealthy, which can be foreseen. Afterwards, the bhikkhu, knowing the principle of the ripening of karmic results, contemplates the abode of the gods holding fly-whisks. Through the wisdom gained from hearing, he sees how the abode of the gods holding fly-whisks, called "attachment to sound," exists. He thinks: Which beings will be born there? Then, he observes through the wisdom gained from hearing, and discovers that those who uphold morality and have highly meditated minds, if they offer umbrellas to the Buddha who possesses immeasurable radiance, then after their death, they will be born into the happy realm of the higher heavens, that is, among the gods called "attachment to sound." After being born there, they enjoy the happiness of the heavenly realm, wandering in various mountains of gold, silver, and lapis lazuli, experiencing all kinds of happiness. Surrounded by retinues of goddesses, they play with their retinues on the peaks of the seven-jeweled mountains, and enter the garden called "Playful Grove." They wear heavenly garlands, wear heavenly clothes, and are adorned with the fragrance emitted together with garlands, incense powder, and unguents. Sometimes they also enter the garden called "Spice Grove," which is beautifully decorated with various trees.

So it is. In that garden, there are rivers, waterfalls, ponds, lotus ponds, and trees, adorned with great beauty. The wings of birds adorn it so beautifully, and the light shines so beautifully, like the light of the gods, and there are other lights of various colors, such as blue, yellow, and madder. That garden is truly colorful! In that garden devoted to the fruits of karma, various flowers bloom, emitting a very fragrant scent. When this scent blows onto the leaves, the leaves touched by the scent rub against each other, producing beautiful music. The beauty of this music is such that even one-sixteenth of the music used in the realm of the Asuras cannot compare. When the scent blows onto each leaf, it also produces very pleasing music, which has five harmonious elements, intoxicating one with extremely pleasant and desirable realms. Then, the music of the leaves causes one to indulge in desire and causes countless beings to dwell in the joy of carelessness. Those who are addicted to sound, attached to sound, and deluded by sound, as long as the unpleasant and desirable deeds they have done and accumulated have not been exhausted, they will continue to enjoy particularly beautiful things such as sound, smell, taste, and touch. This person will later die from the realm of the gods. After death, if they are not born in hell, as a hungry ghost, or as an animal due to other karma that needs to be experienced, but are born among humans because they have a connection with humans, then they will be particularly fond of music because of the same causes and conditions as in their previous life. They will also be very wealthy in terms of riches, grains, houses, and wives, and they will live a long life, and even be respected in the royal palace. Then, O Bhikshu, one who knows the ripening of karmic fruits, will observe the places where the gods holding fly-whisks dwell. He thinks, 'Which of the gods will be born there, and what will his name be?' Then, he observes through the knowledge gained from hearing and sees how the gods dwell in the realm of the gods called 'Immaculate Joy'.
