They experience happiness, and their bodies never decay. There is no hunger or thirst. Those gods who are never satisfied with sounds, tastes, shapes, and fragrances, and who are attached to desire, whatever they desire, the gods attain. Whatever they attain, others do not destroy. The gods enjoy themselves as they please, always content, always exceedingly happy, wandering as they please. These emanated gods wander freely, and the gods with large bodies become light. The gods who walk with their eyes closed or open can travel billions of yojanas with their eyes closed or open, without fatigue, and become light. For example, the wind in the sky does not become tired, similarly, the gods have no fault of fatigue. The bodies of the gods with clear minds are light and free from defilement. Those who are able to go everywhere change their forms as they wish. Gods and goddesses are filled with great joy, and all the young goddesses dwell in gardens and near gardens. Gods and goddesses together experience the five objects of desire, experience suffering, experience pleasure, experience comfort, and are delighted by them. Thus, they dwell together in various places in the heavens, on cliffs, in gardens, and near gardens, without attachment to the suffering of separation. Those who are unstable in their dwellings live recklessly as if drunk, deceived by the desire born of the abundance of pleasure. As long as their desire, suffering, and pleasurable karma, and the meritorious deeds that cause rebirth in the heavens, are not exhausted, they will be happy. Afterward, they will die, and after death, according to their karma, they will be reborn in hells, as hungry ghosts, and as animals. If, due to good deeds, they are reborn among humans who can fully experience happiness, then, in accordance with that karma, they will become the leaders of cities or villages, reborn in a land filled with people who are always happy.

He sees that they are free from illness and possess beautiful bodies. Then, monk, that one who knows the ripening of the fruits of karma contemplates the abode of the garland-holding gods. With the wisdom born of hearing, he sees how all the abodes of the garland-holding gods are happily situated. There, he wonders, 'Which beings will be born here?' He investigates with the wisdom born of hearing, and he sees that any being with a mind of discipline, who does not harm others, cultivates flowers, or buys and picks them through trade, and offers them to the Buddha Bhagavan, will, upon separating from the body, be born in the world of good rebirths and higher realms, among all the gods who dwell in happiness. Having been born there, he will experience four kinds of happiness, namely: having no rivals, going wherever he pleases, not being subdued by other gods, and the goddesses not relying on other gods, and he is happy with the five kinds of musical instruments. He enjoys them completely, plays, rejoices, truly rejoices, and abides. They play with various kinds of play, such as: playing in the water, playing in the lotus pond, playing with flowers, playing with fruits, playing with incense, playing with birds, walking and playing in the garden, and playing because the bees make sounds, surrounded by groups of goddesses who never tire of looking at each other, they rejoice. The gods and goddesses, having abandoned the suffering of envying each other, are well and happy with a very fragrant scent. That place is also surrounded by lotus ponds, such as: a lotus pond that is very fragrant, a lotus pond with lotuses that have not withered, and a lotus pond mixed with lotuses and utpala flowers, and lotus ponds that are always filled with these and others. Various kinds of lotuses completely cover those lotus ponds. There, the gods abiding in joy experience various kinds of happiness that are extremely delightful and bring great happiness. In the garden with golden leaves, they also rejoice in the gaps of the garden crowded with bees.
