One will go to the place called "The Forest of Utter Joy and Glory." The No-Contention beings, surrounded by assemblies of gods and goddesses, also possess these unfading kinds of flowers. For example, the flower of nectar for the eyes, the nectar of fragrance, and the flowers that bring joy upon hearing, possessing color and fragrance—what power do these become? In whatever place its name is invoked, in that very place, the flowers emit fragrance from the sky. There is also the flower called "Color More Than the Moon" and the flower called "All-Pervading"; these flowers grow on the branches of trees. When they are called, these flowers appear just as before. This is because of the desire of the gods. The vehicles they ride are the vehicles of trees, and residing within the house of flowers, the gods travel in the sky wherever they wish. Just as the gods who wander everywhere from their palaces, so too the No-Contention gods, residing in the house of flowers, travel, and in the blink of an eye, they see the entire world become radiant with light. Yet, they do not become weary. Within the trees called "Joyful House," which are connected without interruption, there is also joy. The forests where the gods enter and bring joy, and the forests near ponds—which trees possess these glories and become especially joyful from all of those? If the gods desire, all the splendor of all the places of No-Contention will come to that place. The glory of those trees also makes them love the trees, and when the gods make those trees joyful with the incomparable sound of the eight-limbed music, which trees called "Fragrance Emanating" possess these powers? The tree becomes fragrant with only that kind of fragrance that the gods manifestly desire. The tree called "Joyful House of Flowers," which has an inner chamber, makes the gods and the forests, nearby forests, and ponds joyful. It has colors of blue, yellow, and red, and a variety of fragrances and abundant colors—what is it?

At the time when that deity is made to enter, the colors of all the trees and flowers will change. The deity will transform into that color. The deity will transform into that color. All of these will not turn into unchanging garments, but by the power of the trees and flowers. There is a tree called "walking in the sky," which in the blink of an eye can travel hundreds of thousands of yojanas in the sky. Those who travel as they wish, possessing splendor equal to the sun. Thus, the newly born deity, surrounded by hundreds of thousands of gods and goddesses, adorned with various garlands, powders, and the splendor of ointments, goes everywhere on the tree. In front of that deity, at that time, there are countless goddesses, wearing various kinds of sparkling precious garments, extremely joyful, with bodies of utmost delight, dancing, swaying, and gracefully moving in front, and filling thousands of yojanas with various sounds of songs. Because they possess the fruition of well-performed actions, such appearances manifest in the minds of those goddesses, and anything that is slightly similar or previously seen is merely an example. Just as the stars move around the moon, this deity is a hundred thousand times more beautiful than that, emitting various kinds of sounds, accompanied by songs, laughter, graceful movements, and singers, he goes to where that forest is. In the vicinity of that forest, hundreds of thousands of birds fill the area, streams and numerous ponds make the surroundings beautiful, the vicinity is extremely delightful, brighter than hundreds of thousands of suns. For those things that are exemplified in a slightly similar way, like the forests that people say are extremely delightful, streams, slopes, and beautiful pond slopes, even one-sixteenth of the distinction of the forests of the Four Great Kings (where the Four Great Kings reside) and the nearby forests cannot compare. Likewise, the forests of the Four Great Kings also cannot compare to one-sixteenth of the distinction of the delight of the forests of the gods of the Thirty-Three (the second of the six heavens of the desire realm) and the nearby forests. Thus, through the order of increasingly superior distinctions, from virtuous and non-virtuous actions, increasingly superior joy is with virtue.
