Circling the entire earth, they rejoice together with the assembly of gods in the gardens and forests adorned with the seven precious things. Enjoying such great bliss, they sometimes go to a place called 'Hundred-Flavored Garden.' When they directly see it, great joy arises in them. The gods, seeing it, say, 'Alas, this garden is more beautiful than other gardens! What is the reason for the flowers, fruits, valleys, medicinal herbs, pavilions, waterfalls, the sounds of birds, the variety of lands, the wild animals, and the special things that surpass wild animals?' Another god from before, hearing these words, said, 'We have heard from others that a wheel-turning king named Ngalenu, even though he enjoys himself for millions of years in the four continents and intermediate continents, is never satisfied with desires.' Unable to be satisfied with desires, he was led by the wheel along the path of the Four Great Kings and came to this world of gods. Even though he lived close to millions of years by human reckoning, he was still not satisfied with desires. Because he was still not content with desires, he came to this world of gods and even sat on half of Indra's seat, but he was still not satisfied with desires. Whenever he goes to enjoy the pleasure gardens, he comes to this garden, because this garden is endowed with many virtues and conveniences.' Therefore, this garden, endowed with many virtues, is still even more delightful now. We have also heard that King Ngalenu, sitting on Indra's seat, also fell from that heavenly abode when his own deeds were exhausted. Otherwise, we have not directly seen this garden. Therefore, this garden is still so prosperous even now.' Then, when those gods heard these words, their minds were filled with wonder and great joy, and they rejoiced, played, and indulged in pleasures with the delightful music of the five instruments, and they indulged in the five kinds of sensual pleasures.

Go to that garden of the mind filled with many joys. As it goes, it is well urged by the bird called "Utmost Peak," who speaks to the god in verses like this: By its cause, namely craving, one never experiences satisfaction with desires. Craving generates satisfaction, but the mind itself does not become satisfied. This being near death, all people should know. Therefore, to respond to it, all means are powerless. Even from a very long time, having enjoyed many pleasures, one will certainly fall, therefore, call upon the Dharma. The Dharma alone is the supreme refuge, the Dharma alone is the supreme support. The Dharma will sustain life, and non-Dharma will lead to death. Practicing Dharma, acting in accordance with Dharma, and relying on Dharma itself, one will go from happiness to happiness, and suffering will not be seen again. A person who does not act in accordance with Dharma, when he relies on non-Dharma, that sentient being will always in hell, again and again, experience suffering. As many places as are shown, that is the realm of Indra. There is no other realm of Indra, thus it is certain. In all thirty-three places, where the gods are immortal, and there is no action of falling into wrongdoing, that is not in any direction. Going to many causes, and various certain essences, Indra teaches the Dharma, but the gods do not rely on it. The wise one, from action, is कौशिका (kauśika, Kausika, meaning: owl), because he is a treasure, he is the body, and because he delights in the lotus, he also completely abandons sins. He always expounds the sacred Dharma, even like the father of the gods, but because of carelessness, his mind is disturbed, and he does not hold onto those who are foolish. Thus, even though he has heard the words of the gods and birds, because his nature is careless, his mind is completely stolen, so he does not even feel aversion. He also does not pay attention to them, but again rejoices in the pleasures of the present world, and does not see others. Until the desirable pleasures that have been made, accumulated, and experienced separately, and those well-done actions have not been exhausted,

When that happens, those deities enjoy the five desirable realms. Afterwards, they will die and transmigrate from those heavenly realms. Having died and transmigrated, they will be born in hell, among the pretas, and among animals, according to how they approach karma. If they share a common destiny with humans and are born among humans, then they will always be supremely happy, supremely auspicious, endowed with supreme enjoyment, extremely beautiful, and all people will love them, also because of the common cause of that karma. Furthermore, monks, when knowing the ripening of karmic fruit, he surveys the lands of the thirty-three gods. Even if it is just one piece of land, becoming the thirty-fourth, he does not see it. As long as the lands associated with the gods are only possessed by those thirty-three gods, and they do not have any other lands. Indra also only possesses that much power, only possesses that much strength. There is no other joy besides those. He first surveys these deities, because seeing the karmic fruit related similarly to cause and effect, and being fully equipped, he surveys all the different lands, thereby becoming weary of samsara. Because he clearly sees that they are bound to fall into the abyss of death and birth, suffering, separation and discord, encounters, old age, sickness and death, and many very terrible fears. On the other hand, because clearly seeing that many rivers of suffering are burning, a sense of weariness is bound to arise. Alas, our world has entered into a very wretched state. Like this, they are immersed in the terrifying abyss of birth, old age, sickness and death. However, they are not fully awakened. Nor is there a way to escape from samsara.
