How then does one completely abandon taking what is not given? It is to regard even small karmic results with fear. For example, in order to benefit others who practice the same pure conduct and are diligent in keeping vows, they abstain from toothpicks or water mixed with honey in ponds, small ponds, riverbanks, or any other such places, and do not take them with a stealing mind. Such behavior is the opposite of taking what is not given. Having separated from the body, they will be born in the happy realms, in the Heaven of the Thirty-Three, among those called the gods who dwell in the pleasure groves. Having been born there, all desires are fulfilled. In the groves and near the groves, endowed with the five kinds of musical instruments, there are various kinds of birds making sounds; in the lotus ponds, swarms of bees make sounds; there are ruddy geese and swans making sounds, and in the groves are trees adorned with the seven precious jewels; and in the small ponds are waters filled like broken pieces of blue lapis lazuli; and the mountain peaks are also radiant with stones of the seven precious jewels, and in the mountain caves of gold, silver, crystal, and agate; various kinds of birds make various sounds and play. Their colors and feathers are also like the seven precious jewels, making various pleasant sounds that delight the mind, sounds that enter the ears, harmonious and melodious in various ways. All these sounds are pleasing to the ear, as if the groves and near the groves themselves are making sounds. In some of the groves and near the groves, sounds of 'di-ri-ri' are heard everywhere, which are also very delightful. In those groves, an abundance of food and drink, all more delicious than anything else, flows forth, causing even the gods to rejoice greatly, what need is there to mention others? In those groves and near the groves of such a kind, people with various appearances, various garments, and various ornaments on their bodies rejoice hundreds or thousands of times.

then rejoice, play, and enjoy themselves. Among them, those who have performed good deeds well, possessing their own light and supreme glory, surrounded by various pleasures, rejoice, play, and enjoy themselves, and experience all kinds of desires. Having clearly seen the intoxication of such a state of bliss, those delightful things surround the gods, causing them to rejoice, play, and enjoy themselves. Thus, as they rejoice and play in such a manner, they think, "Let us go to the garden with railings made of lapis lazuli jewels, adorned with shining jewel trees all around, surrounded by various flowers, and filled with the sounds of various birds." In that garden, the gods are exceedingly joyful, filled with gatherings of gods and goddesses, possessing five kinds of musical instruments, rejoicing, playing, and enjoying themselves. Within that garden, there is a pond called "Water Abode," which is exceedingly delightful and the water is very clear, and the gods play and rejoice by its banks. Then, the newly born son of the gods goes together with those gods to the vicinity of that very pond. Then, those gods also recognize him, and laughing and playing, adjusting their pace, they go to where that god is, and in that "Water Abode" pond, they rejoice, play, and enjoy themselves with those who have become friends with each other. That pond also has such power that it transforms into whatever they desire and whatever form of water they wish. If they desire, it will become clear in color, scent, and taste like wine, exceedingly delicious, and filled with swarms of bees, changing as desired, and becoming like nectar. The "Water Abode" pond, possessing color, taste, and scent that are exceedingly delicious, is filled with nectar that is exceedingly delicious, exceedingly soft, and with a color like the moon. By the power of my force, those trees will produce as many kinds of melodious sounds as there are five kinds of musical instruments! They will produce that many kinds of sounds. Then, those gods think to themselves: We should enter those ponds. As soon as the gods have this thought, they immediately enter the ponds. As they enter, water will spring up inside. Those who have entered see in the ponds themselves palaces adorned with various kinds of jewel railings and covered with leaves, some made of lapis lazuli, some made of gold, some made of silver, some made of crystal, some made of ruby, and some made of sandalwood. Inside those houses and gardens, on top of various kinds of wish-fulfilling beautiful mattresses spread with unspun, vividly colored mats, the gods, goddesses, and retinues of goddesses rejoice and revel together. In that place, they also rejoice and revel with many things that are delightful and very beautiful, never tiring of the satisfaction of desires, without the sorrow of strife and jealousy, very lovely, endowed with virtues, and having become friends with each other, they rejoice and revel together, enjoying the five objects of desire together. They also rise from there and go to a place called "Very Beautiful Garden." That garden is filled with many birds that make melodious sounds, streams, rivers, ponds, and the surfaces of streams are all filled with birds, tens of thousands of birds making noisy sounds, and it is completely filled with melodious sounds. In that garden, the trees are as bright as the light of the sun, the garden is endowed with various virtues, flocks of birds fly up from all directions, and it is adorned with hundreds of thousands of streams. There, those gods who possess their own light, together with the goddesses, rejoice in the realms of various divine virtues. Among the joys of the ignorant, this is the most supreme, namely, the joy of women, and all individual beings bound by that rope are samsara.
