There is also not. Disliking and fearing, becoming muddled, facing the side of the cemetery. Being led, and thereby deceived by wealth, thereby attaining liberation, and also giving alms. It is purifying merit. What are the good deeds like? Like that, if the Sangha dwells in a desolate place with little water. And those monks are on the verge of death from thirst, becoming extremely distressed. For the sake of those who dwell there, in the center of the monastery, pools or wells are built. The water that is drawn out is filled with mud or covered with worms, and they are treated that way. In order to prevent those worms from dying on the dry land, they are placed in moist places. Like this, even tiny lives are protected. Furthermore, in the flowing water, those worms that dwell there are also taken out, and then in order to live again, they are placed in places where there is water. Like this, completely practicing the ultimate of good deeds is not killing. What is it like to abandon taking what is not given? This is not taking even the roots with a thieving mind, and not taking the groves of trees and bamboo that grow in various places. Migrated villages and ancient monasteries, not completely occupied by others, and even now no one will occupy, but one will think in one's mind, 'It was established by others before.' Because of thinking that way, one does not take, like this is abandoning taking what is not given. Completely practicing the ultimate of good deeds, after leaving the body and dying, one will be born in the abode of the gods of the same kind. After being born there, one will also be born in a place facing there. If it is a golden cushion, or a silver one, or a crystal one, or a pure gold one, or an andanila one, or a huge turquoise one, or a pearl one, or a coral cushion on which one will be born. As soon as he is born, he will think, 'What kind of good deed caused me to be born here?' He will recall his previous deeds, like this is good.

Loving like parents, ripening coolly, with as many aspects as there are of surely experiencing happiness, one thinks, "I have been born among the gods." Recalling those actions and directly seeing the fruits of those actions, one praises virtuous actions and scolds non-virtuous ones. Remembering lifetimes and becoming the basis of actions, after remembering the basis of many virtuous actions like parents, at that time, one speaks in verses like this: Whoever obtains mindfulness, well obtains a human life. If one does deeds that should be done well, one approaches the world of the gods. Human life is difficult to obtain, and having obtained it, whoever is without mindfulness, that person wanders from the darkness of carelessness and falls into the hell of sentient beings. Those who have done three kinds of good deeds and have also become accustomed to seven kinds of practices, those who have slain the three enemies, go into the midst of the gods. Whoever surely eliminates afflictions and does not eliminate them with joy, that pure one who has eliminated joy, goes into the midst of the gods. Whoever surely eliminates stinginess, which has become the door to great suffering, and has also given various kinds of giving, goes into the midst of the gods. Whoever always protects living beings with love, as if they were their own life, those whose loving-kindness is always gentle, go into the midst of the gods. Whoever, knowing what is not given as fire, has made all kinds of offerings, and has also meditated on mind and wisdom, goes into the midst of the gods. That one who thinks about that very meaning, also sees the wives of others as mothers, and is not stained by the faults born of desire, goes into the midst of the gods. Whoever has correctly generated this fire of one's own mind with the drilling stick of the tongue, whoever speaks falsehoods, if one destroys that, one goes to a happy rebirth. Whoever always abandons meaningless friends, always destroys slander, and delights in speaking gently, goes into the midst of the gods. Whoever firmly abandons harsh words like weapons, and always speaks very well with gentle words, that one will go to a happy rebirth. On the tip of whose tongue, one does not speak unrelated words, one does not speak, one speaks truthfully, and one knows the time, goes into the midst of the gods. The seven aspects spoken by the Buddha
