Not having properly used the boundaries of the law, whatever is used as a factor for going to higher realms, that is craving. Then, beings bound by the ropes of karma will be born in hells, pretas, and animals. Not the end of goodness, those pleasures of the higher realms, that monk saw, among all conditioned dharmas, becoming a single delightful thing, is decaying, merely a fault, will necessarily change, is not permanent, like lightning, the unstable fruit among all desires, having realized the agitation accompanied by faults, he spoke in verses like this: Ignorant and careless in the heavenly realm, unbearable fire completely surrounds. After drinking the turbid drink, sentient beings fall into hell. First, transformed by desire itself, also suppressed by hatred, deluded by ignorance itself, that makes actions futile. With the sounds of the five musical instruments, completely deceiving those, which will necessarily happen, not recognizing the suffering of death. To whom do you use desire? These goddesses are unstable, after they abandon you, then they will go elsewhere. When a man prospers, he relies on them, when he declines, he abandons them, having enjoyed with women, he sees the nature of these. This man, ignorant of desire, is deluded like a deer. After decaying from the outside, he is abandoned by a frivolous mind. That is an unbearable affliction, when dwelling nearby, women do not remember benefits and respect, joy and long-lasting friendship. Just as when a flower becomes old, a bee abandons it and goes elsewhere. Likewise, when it becomes an affliction, women abandon and leave. Just as poison and honey are mixed together, if all women are not examined, they will become a cause of joy, and although lovely in the heart, they are not stable. People are deluded by desires, and also particularly by words. The steadfast husband is steadfast in his heart, do not fix your mind on those. These people are deluded by these, especially transformed by desire. Going to the other shore, beneficial to me.
